Orlando Bloom is a Motorcycle Man
Orlando Bloom throws on his leather jacket and mounts a custom motorcycle before zooming down a street in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday.
Orly, 31, was spotted picking and choosing between a number of different custom motorcycles at Sydney’s bike store Deus Ex Machina.
Mr. Bloom is in town with his main squeeze, Australian ‘Victoria’s Secret’ angel Miranda Kerr.

It’s not just you. I always feel a little suspicious when people can’t give an exact date. Yesterday, Thursday, etc. The other day always makes me wonder if someone is hedging in case another sighting or story pops up from that day.
I’m not trying to be mean or anything but you seem to waffle a lot. If they were there together all it means is that they were there together. Period. Perhaps OB wanted to do this as its something he’s done in the past. And he was going and she decided to tag along. And he didn’t permit her to use it for PR. That’s a possible scenario and in no way would translate to “they are together and in love”.
As for kids being happy, I will bet you anything they were happy to meet Will Turner and probably thought she was just a nice, smiling girl whom they had never heard of. I really doubt an 11 year old cares who some underwear model is. LOL.
And in general, I wonder if most people understand the way PR works in the internet age. It isn’t enough to have pictures and stories in tabloids. You need fan sightings as well. It needs to be a complete operation.
Who wants to bet me that David Jones is an underwriter for the Ronald Mcdonald House at this hospital?
Look, I’m a cynic. If they went and were nice to some sick kids that’s great. But that’s not going to make me decide everything is perfectly normal and that everything else I’ve observed was false.

I still can’t see why there would be no official mention of it-not even a blurb. Most things like that do make the press and if it was really a few days ago she was talking up a storm about everything she was doing. Why not that? It was just fit right in with her buddhist and green life style she was pushing.
ellen @199 - Maybe it means they are a legit couple. Or maybe it means they’ve finally hired a PR expert who knows what the hełł she/he is doing and how to make it look real. Sorry, but I don’t believe anything without confirmation from several sources, direct or indirect.

It really doesn’t change my opinion of them as an annoying showmance couple but I am trying more and more to see it in a different light because nothing is only black or only white.

Yes, so perhaps in this situation they discovered discretion is the better part of valor. The story is out there anyway, isn’t it? So mission accomplished in some respects.

If it is false maybe the person who wrote it didn’t think of that-and said it was both. At a charity dinner for the hospital that is usually someplace else and the kids aren’t there. If you go to visit and play with the kids that is just hang out time. The kids don’t sit down to a big table or anything like that-at least from what I understand.
I do think it sounds like the perfect follow up to her saying to much and now trying to backpedal a bit. If it is false you can’t put that in the paper because the fall out from using fake charity in the press would be too much.
@208 To me it came accross that it started as hang out time and then they decided to dine with the kids. There’s probably a cafeteria where the kids eat. The Ronald McDonald house is not like a hospital, it’s the place where kids that receive long treatment can stay with their parents to avoid mental/psychological damage from spending weeks or months apart.
Just read it again. Do they let the kids just run down for dinner like that for an unplanned thing? That really doesn’t add up at all. It sounded like she described and orphanage instead of a hospital.The hospital probably has to be very structured with their schedules. If they are sick enough to have to stay in a hosital they must not be running around too much.

I do think this has taught her people a few things about using blogs and the net since now they know how people find things.
Isn’t that person from imdb mayfrayn? She alwasy puts ^_^ in her posts and fins the couple super sweet.
I don’t know about Australia, but in our town the RMcD house is not even in a hospital building, it’s on the opposite side of the road, near the hospital. The kids in there are receiving some kinda treatment and are may be under care, but it’s not like in a hospital. For example, a child who received cancer cure and is still sick and weak, does not need to be treated by a doctor, only a nurse. A kid who broke his leg and was in a cast might need weeks to rebuild legmuscles and learn to walk again, but no longer needs a doctor, only rehabilitation facilites and an expert to show him exercises to grow strong again. These kids would take up space and beds that other kids in worse condition might need, therefore they are sent into the RMcD house.
Sometimes kids that are from faraway villages and must undergo long term treatment in a hospital can suffer from depression and panic attacks if their parents are not with them. If the parents can’t afford staying in a hotel or to travel to visit the kids every day, they are allowed to stay in the RMcD house while the kid is in the hospital, which, as I said, is another building, and absolutely nothing to do with the house.
I hope I was clear. To me this sighting sounds legit, the only part bothering me is the unclear date.

I donate my change to that cause whenever I am at their restaurants. Especially since becoming a mother. I even teach my kids to do it.
The poster does have a history posting on IMDB - it appears that the poster is Australian based too, based on the threads that he/she has commented in. I don’t see any reason not to believe that this is true.
Orlando has never alerted the media when he has done such things before - I would guess that he initiated this and MK just tagged along.
You’re right, the Ronald McDonald House is a place where sick kids are either undergoing treatment or recovering and their families stay there with them. It’s not generally attached to the hospital physically.
As for the sighting, I don’t know it its legit or not. It could be either. But I wouldn’t expect her to post pictures if it is legit. For the simple fact that there’s no way I’d post pictures of my sick niece or nepher just to please some fans. I’d consider it private.

I think 211 referred to the new poster who asked for pictures, not the OP who told the story.

I think it’s true he has been known for doing these things. I think the date and the miranda thing is what people are questioning.
personally i believe that they were just told to go there, but not make a big deal out of it. that way it wouldnt look like they did it for PR, but gee, look, the story got out anyway and awww dont they ever look sweet now.
and yes ofcourse now she’s been back peddling a bit. someone obviously (I doubt it was orlando) told her to shut her trap. and why wouldnt she???? its not like now anybody doestn know she’s effing him.
As much as I initially liked to believe he was smarter then dating this tramp and believed the romance was a fake, I think we can all now safely assume it isnt. I mean for **** sake; she’s met his parents quite a while ago (which was kept quite) and he’s now even met hers (which as everyone knows turned into a big publicity circus.)
@klopt yes I agree with you. I do believe they do enjoy their romance and are happy together. Which would be fantastic if they, well her, just shut up about it.
Generally I believed in OK relationship so why shouldn’t I believe in this one.But I have a feeling that OK did not talk that much about their relationship and did not have their own internet diary (DT).
And the funniest thing is that I am quite sure Miranda or her people read the comments and they are learning more and more what to do or what to say because each time someone here mentions some problem it is momentally solved by Miranda in one of the blurbs for DT or some other interview.
Even if she wanted a different kind of publicity in OZ I think she got a huge amount of it. Unfortunately mostly negative one. Before their trip I even didn;t care about them that much and I thought she’s kind of ok just a little bit annoying sometimes and now I just cannot stand this girl and their showmance.
But it’s their life and if they’re happy about it one can do nothing.
I don’t think anyone said he never dated her at least for a while and she did meet his mom when she was here for Sebastian’s thing. It wasn’t a special trip just to meet the mom.
As for this sighting, it might have happened but ever since the PerezHitlon instant flux of Palm Beach sightings all within the hour I just think they are now getting more savvy as to how to plant these things instead of using one source. Could they have gone, sure. I also wouldn’t put it past them to use friends already establised blogs or whatever to do things like this and the dinner mention from last week. It’s not like she hasn’t been on a mission or anything. what has it been now, three days since she made an idiot of herself with those over possive comments? Silence now? Must put something positve out there to change the subject. Might be true-might not.
