Hitting the theaters on October 24th, it’s senior year for the Wildcats!
Synopsis: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) facing the prospect of separation as they head off to different colleges. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future. With incredible new music and exciting dance numbers designed to take maximum advantage of the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment from East High’s talented ensemble.

Here’s how i think it’s going to turn out:
-Sharpy will probably get a new guy (The zac stealing is old and i’m sure the directors are aware of that) Who knows, maybe Zeek.
-Ryan might get a gal but most likey not. (Maybe at the very end)
-Corbin and um that other one, oh yeah Monique, well sparks will fly and they’ll probably go to prom together
-Zanessa or Troyella, whatever, everything will be dandy in the begining but obviously things go sour for some reason *cough* Sharpay *cough* (she’s evil like that) or the fact they’re going to different colleges or someone else ruins it.
- Something (bad) will happen at prom
- At the end of the whole graduation ceremony you may or may not see Za- i mean Troyella go seperate ways or they might share a final kiss goodbye. (Same goes for any other couple)
- Then when you think its over they show a sneek peek into the future at everyones lives. Troyella will be together obviously. Maybe married. Maybe a sucker along the way (excuse my language)
- And since new characters are coming into the mix, my predictions might change some what or might not even happen
So there’s my two cents.

AWESOME poster!! I love the red, black, and white contrast, keeping with the East High colors. I love the graduation gowns….you look at it, and you immediately know it’s the end. :o( They all look great, and I think it’s hysterical that Sharpay has that dress on under her gown. I think Sharpay and Gabriella will get in a huge fight, then make up before graduating (just in time) and Troy and Gabriella will break up, (but in a happy way) and move on, and decided that this has been a great chapter in their lives.

FYI, the MAIN characters in the HSM movies are ZAC and VANESSA. not ashley tisdale, or whoever you like. i’m not bashing ashley, but take in mind that zac & vanessa ARE the main characters. & if you haven’t noticed, zac & vanessa are in the top celebrity box, not any other of the cast. so, obviously, zac & vanessa are going to get more attention. instead of bashing on two very talented youg people, find a site where they give your fave HSM actor/s more attention…

The fact of the matter is Zac and Vanessa are the leads and its the relationship of Troy and Gabriella that drives the francise. Now I don’t want to dimenish the contriubutions of Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and the rest of the Wildcats. They are invaluable and just as important in their own way as Zac and Vanessa, removie any of them and it wouldn’t be the same.

Sick of Zanessa. Sick of HSM. And sick of JJ for always promoting all the nonsense. It will draw phenomenal crowds of kids because of their love affair with Efron regardless of the fact it’s a far cry from a real musical with real actors. As far as the Musicals that were mentioned, yes they are also great musicals… you don’t need to put this one down… HSM started with these talented teens… yet Most of the actors starring in the Musicals you mentioned were already seasoned actors and adults which made them great musicals. I’d say these talented teens who are now young adults are pretty impressive! This musical is Fresh w/new music, new talent… and alot of people love it. Zac and Vanessa are the main main characters in the movie! Ashley ,Corbin, Lucas, and Monique are the other main characters! I kind of bugs me when people forget Monique because she’s on the front on every movie so she’s obviously not just a side character and I don’t think people give her enough credit for what she does in the movie. Just because she is the only one that doesn’t sing that doesn’t mean she’s not important to the story! I’m sorry but that just bugs me.
But anyways I’m a big Zanessa fan, and Zac and Vanessa are perfect in this movie. I don’t think Zanessa is a put on either I mean wouldn’t you get tired of “pretending” to date someone for the past 3 years. I would think so! But whatever people want to believe.
I just don’t see why people make a big deal about putting Zanessa before the title of something that involves High School Musical! But I love this movie and I can’t wait for it to come out! I’m definitely going to go see it! :D

Hooray for High School Musical 3! The big draw here for me are Troy and Gabriella, of course.played by Zac and Vanessa and no other. Anyway, it sure is interesting to see how Disney is going to top this with HSM4 (New characters). It is gonna be either a hit or a miss depending on the chemistry of the new actors and storyline. Meanie me predicts a miss.
Disney can’t retain the old characters ( they’re all going to College) with the exception of Darby and Coach Bolton. Unless, some of them didn’t get to graduate. As to the short shooting schedule for the VERY REAL musical that is “High School Musical 3″ is concerned you seem to think that the amount of time it takes to shoot a movie is somehow synonamous with quality.
Well does anybody remember “LIttle Miss Sunshine?” That was the little movie from 2006 that swept a bunch of critics awards including The Screen Actors Guild Award and made little Abigal Breslin a $ 2 million dollar a picture star. It even was nomiated as Best Picture in 2006 and deservedly so in my opinion.
Do you know how long that took to film? *theme music to “Jeopardy” plays* No? Okay I’ll tell you. It took one month. That’s right 30 days exactly 10 days LESS then “HSM 3″ is scheduled to take. Granted the filmmakers didn’t have the backing of a major studio like Disney behind them but still that kind puts pokes a hole on your supposition that the length of a film’s shooting schedule is somehow synonamous with its quality doesn’t it?

I can honestly, say I don’t think this HSM 3 is going to be as big success, as HSM 1 and HSM 2. you not only see them (z and v) in the starting credits, but the first act in the movie is about how they met and the very first song performed was their duet.
and remember.. the longest casting process was finding the right actors and chemistry between the characters of Troy and Gabriella.. because naturally, if they don’t click in the movie.. nothing will.

Yeah, I can see it now, Zac, not realising that the lady he’s been dating for almost three years is too wild and untamed for him, suddenly discovers this shocking fact as soon as she leaves disney, breaks up with her and runs to find Kaye who is domesticated and tamed and who predicted Vanessa’s wildness and they live happily ever after. The end.
Loving the poster. They all look great and more mature. I really like Gabriella and Taylor’s pairs of shoes. They are so what I would wear for an evening out. I’m not crazy about hsm, I watch it because of Vanessa and her chemistry with Zac. However, I can imagine what a bittersweet time this is for all of them. I’m sure they are happy to move on to other things but they’ve had so much fun and great memories making these movies that it would be sad knowing this is their last one. i really hope they all stay in touch even if it’s just exchanging christmas cards once a year.

You certainly are a wonder. There are soooo many posters I want to refer to your post—and I certainly will be doing so whenever I have a chance. I find it strange, also, how some people just want to bring this movie down because there are young people in it and it has singing and dancing. I would say some of us love it because it is different and original but it isn’t—just almost forgotten how wonderful musicals are. Some people just want to think it is corny but some people have musical souls.

Whenever I come here and see all the bashing, I start to wonder what’s wrong with these poeple. Because it’s cool if you have different opinion but letting people down just because of their likings or ridiculing actors/actresses because of their work/private lives is wrong. And something hit me in the head when I thought about it the last time.
When I was younger, the hit movie was the ‘Titanic’ and the actual star was Leonardo DiCaprio. If you were a girl it was cute to love the movie. If you were a boy, you had to criticise the movie and the actor as well. Because it was cheesy and romantic, and the actor was ‘gay’ or had many mistakes. But if you were a girl who disliked the movie you tended to bash it because a) it was cool to criticise, b) you could stand on the boys’ side, or c) you were bored and had nothing else to do so you decided to have a little fun no matter how wrong that ‘fun’ was.
I remember Zac’s video interview (Details, February) when he said that no matter how much you liked ‘Titanic’ and Leonardo as an actor it was frustrating to hear about him all the time. I can imagine that!
It seems that times never change except now the actual superstar is Zac and not Leonardo, and the actual hit movies are the HSM series. I think nothing new happens: people bash the movies just because it’s cool to do it. Now Zac is the superstar of the teens, tomorrow there will be another actor who gets this title. Because that’s the way it works.
My previous comment with the facts tended to prove how big these movies were (if everyone needed refreshing). One person can be wrong but millions of people can’t. So if the majority of the audience prefers watching HSM let them do so and don’t criticise them because of it!

I wasn’t been too impressed with HSM 1 and HSM 2 was terrible, but I’m actually kind of excited about this one. Plot sounds interesting (if not a little gag-inducing) and if the change the dancing. I might like ti a lot.
People keep commenting on the length of time Disney is filming this movie. Remember there will be no car crashes or computer graphics Just the actors performing. What takes a lot of films so long is all the extra things that won;t be included in this one.

- I was talking in general. If you feel addressed, that’s your thing.
- You mentioned ‘Grease’. Why is it better? I mean almost every musical contains cliches and cheesy scenes. And I bet HSM will be just as memorable as ‘Grease’ was. Or at least the statistics say so.
- One thing is telling negative comments (like expressing your annoyance about a phenomenon) and another thing is a pointless bashing. Don’t confuse the two things.
