Maybe Angelina will do a photoshoot /interview for Glamour. I can’t believe there has not been anything about who she will be doing a major interview with. Her movies come out in June.

Fans what is new with the hater rant? Nothing? They can’t stand the JP’s being happy, in love, taking care of their kids and expanding they family, that is their problem! But then she wrote a best-selling book about being homeless and scavenging for food, and now she crisscrosses the country talking about the bad old days. Last night, Walls, whose memoir “The Glass Castle” has been optioned by Brad Pitt’s production company, spoke at a fancy fundraiser for Heading Home, formerly Shelter Inc. “For a lot of people, the book has helped put a face on homelessness,” said Walls, who was a gossip columnist for 20 years before writing the book. “They think homeless people are all crazy, smelly people who have no past and no future. . . . Obviously, that isn’t true.”

Widespread Panic To Aid The Big Easy

(May 2, 2008)—Members of Widespread Panic are working to help New Orleans with its continuing recovery after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Widespread Panic closed the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Thursdaynight.

They arrived a day early to visit the Lower 9th Ward, one of the poorest and hardest-hit neighborhoods.

The band has donated $150,000 toward the building of a house for a Katrina victim through Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation.

“This is a place where I believe hope is not lost,” singer John Bell said.

Bell has a soft spot for New Orleans, and not just because Widespread Panic has played there many times.

He met his wife of 16 years, Laura, in New Orleans.

Terence Blanchard remembers Katrina

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Many people at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival just want to forget Aug. 29, 2005, the day Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast. New Orleans trumpeter and composer Terence Blanchard wants to make sure they don’t.

While upbeat jazz and zydeco poured from other stages Friday evening, Blanchard and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra began an emotional series of 13 songs with titles such as “Levees,” “The Water,” and “Funeral Dirge.”

“This is to make sure that people keep talking about New Orleans and talking about what happened here,” Blanchard, whose recording of the piece won the Grammy for large jazz ensemble album, said in an interview moments before taking the stage Friday. “Music lets you know we’re all in the same boat. Hopefully, we’ll effect some change here.”
