Ellen Pompeo Does Entertainment Weekly

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is the cover girl for this week’s Entertainment Weekly.

Here’s all the drama that creator Shonda Rimes has packed into the show’s final four hours: Newly single mom Bailey (Chandra Wilson) tries to keep up a game face at work; McSteamy (Eric Dane) will be forced to follow a new hospital-wide ”date and tell” policy at Seattle Grace after his trysts with various nurses catch up with him; Izzie becomes Alex’s (Justin Chambers) confidante as he tackles new complications with Rebecca/Ava (Elizabeth Reaser); the Chief (James Pickens Jr.) will attempt to reconcile with Adele (Loretta Devine); and Cristina (Sandra Oh) will be faced with the ghost of Preston Burke when news of his career achievement rocks her world. Meanwhile, George will lean on the Chief for support and Callie (Sara Ramirez) will find love in the arms of someone completely unexpected.

BETSY SMITH. I think it was Ava that wasn’t actually pregnant. I love Sandra Oh and her character Cristina and I just wish Hahn and Torres would let her in to their group. I think Erica Hahn will come out of the closet as a lesbian soon though, she was looking at Callie very strangely when she (Callie) was dancing so maybe that’s the real reason that Erica discludes Cristina. Can’t Wait for next week’s episode. I am so proud of Ellen, she truely is a talented and beautiful woman and my congratulations go out to her. Thank you JJ

I love EP, she’s a great actress, I’m a great fan of GA, I’m a little desappointed, last Thuesday epy was about Addison, it was a little boring!!! The epy of 24th april was all about Meredith and it was great!!!

I really like Ellen POMPEO, she’s a great actress, she has one of the most hard character to play and yet she does it with perfection!!!!

This kind of character you can love it or hate it, she makes me think to Calista Flockart and Ally McBeal!!!

I find EP even more great to make her character more credible and she can pass us so much emotion!!!!

I love her interview for EW, she’s so sincere and carefree!!!

read the neilson ratings.

#59 - Addison’s appearance did not kill the ratings LOL. Get your facts straight. Greys ratings have been down all season - 25% from last year. I bet next week’s episode will see a further fall.

Ellen looks ok on the cover. She always looks better in mags than IRL - the positives of photoshop & stylists ! Still looks like she has spent all day crying, very squinty eyes like Renee Zellweger/Fergie.

It’s taken ABC a long time to get EW to give her a solo cover, but given how they are trying to hype the show, they need all the PR they can get. LOL @ the backhanded insult on the cover - everyone knows Greys is still no better than last season. Shark…jumped !

all tv progrmas are down in general. people are watching online now.
thats why theyw ere striking all the past three months.

She looks like a cross between Fergie, Lara Flynn Boyle & Renee Zellweger. The lighting on Greys is very unkind to her, she has awful skin. Photoshopping makes her look 100% better.

Ellen seems natural and this 3 are so fake, surgeries make them awfully ugly.

She is gorgeous in the pictures. Love her as vunerable and fragile Meredith. The on line article asked if Shonda made mistakes and Ellen replied that no one in Hollywood admits a mistake. I think I love her because she is so honest. And Ellen said that its the fans that make the show. And she said that she would never let a man treat her the way Derek treats Meredith. Are you listening Shonda?
