High School Musical 3 Press Conference — VIDEO
Here’s the video of the High School Musical 3: Senior Year cast at the start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday.
A reporter slyly asks Vanessa about Miley Cyrus’s semi-topless Vanity Fair photos.
Vanessa, 19, smartly declines to answer, smiles, and says, “You know, we’re here to talk about the movie.”

Thanks, Pit. I wonder how likely it would be that such an announcement would be made during the filming of HSM3? Plus, doesn’t it seem strange to ANYONE that this has been reported ONLY on obscure sites on the web and hasn’t come out on some entertainment news show like ET or E!? Plus, within a month, these two got back together after being apart for so long, Vanessa got pregnant, found out, felt the need to immediately tell someone like a manager—who in return felt the need to immediately make an announcement of it to, as I said before, some obscure site instead of a credible entertainment news site? I know a lot of couples who have been trying to get pregnant for some time who wish their timing could be so PERFECT! But I know, the people who start these rumors rely on the fact many people don’t know all the facts—like Zac and Vanessa being apart, etc, or don’t consider whether or not this could “ADD UP”. So, I don’t want to make it seem that I am insulting people. BUT those people who are fans and who come to sites like JJ on a regular basis SHOULD be able to figure out this is a lie. and lies like these CAN and DO hurt innocent people. I’m sure Zac and Vanessa don’t like these kinds of rumors with situations like Jamie Lynn Spears happening but they probably take it in stride but their are young people out there that can be upset by these things and think unkindly towards Zac and Vanessa where there is no basis. And that is like character assassination.
One last thing I wanted to say in my first post: Has anyone ever once thought that maybe these two who seem to be so in love would consider marriage FIRST before considering having a child? I know in this day and age that is SUCH a radical concept but these two, after all, are from families where the parents have been married for decades. I would think that would have an effect on how the view what is important. Not everyone thinks they have to have a child with everyone whom they have had an intimate relationship. That would be something a lot of celebrities should be told.
I contacted the webmistress of that UK Vanessa web site and heard back from her. Her site was hacked. She has now posted a notice:

I have no doubt that the other fan sites that had this notice were hacked, too.
It saddens me to think that someone hates this young girl (whom they don’t even know) enough to do something like this. What kind of a world do we live in?
The same person who posted the link on here is probably the one who hacked into the Vanessa fan sites.
Faith, thanks for the REAL story from Vanessa’s manager, so people can understand these rags TELL LIES!!! When are people going to understand that unless a manager, publicist, or Vanessa herself publicly confirms a fact, you should NOT believe anything in a TABLOID!!!!! This is ALL trash, written just to sell magazines!!!!!

I am just a little suspect that this “distracting news” came out on a busy and important weekend for Vanessa.
She is back filming HSM3 with her boyfriend and Ashley, one of her closest friends, as well as all the HSM Gang and Producers. We know they are excited for this project and enjoy working together on this project.
Then on top of that , tomorrow and Monday Vanessa is filming her music video for the first release for her new album and a couple of the principal dancers from HSM are going to be in it with her. That is great news for she and her fans.
You know she had to be excited, and maybe even a little nervous, then this rumor comes us. Don’t you think someone is out gunning for her trying to mess with her reputation as well as mess with her confidence while completing these projects.
I am sure that since we now know her “real Manager was contacted” today to confirm this story is NOT true, that he more than likely contacted Vanessa to let her know what was going around. This just stinks on this particular weekend and I too think it is sad there are such malicious people out there. But we know there are fans who do not like her and “dream” of other relationships for Zac and they are probably behind some of this rumor being hacked into websites today.
I take comfort that Zac is with Vanessa in SLC and again he is there with her to help ignore this news (it involves him too of course!!)
This ranks right up there with Cosmo Girl reporting their untruth about Vanessa when she was in Austin, Texas filming Will or You Rock (whichever is right now!!) and not even in Los Angeles!
Pit, I agree. The timing of that rumor is suspect. Thankfully, Zac is there for her to lean on.
In a recent Famous Magazine interview, Zac said, “I’m not going to let the opinion of a handful of bored bloggers–who don’t know me–get to me. I think that’s been one of the hardest things to get use to in this industry–you have to learn to roll with the punches pretty quickly. I never read anything about myself. I know other actors who go into chat rooms to read things about themselves. I stay the hell away from that.”
I say, good for him.
Malia - that’s a great quote from Zac and I think we all needed to hear that tonight. Hopefully Zac has Vanessa ignoring the bloggers as well. Let’s all wish her well in the filming of her music video these next couple of day - I guess she is working on her off days but it seemed that she did the same while on her off days from Will also.
I highly recommend these two for a vacation when the filming of HSM3 is over!! They both have worked a lot the last few months, even on their “off days” from their current projects.
This latest (and stupid) rumor probably isn’t even on Vanessa’s radar screen. I doubt that she is even the slightest bit upset about it. Talk about unoriginal on the part of the blogger…

I don’t think Vanessa reads about these rumors and more importantly cares about them. Even Zac said that there are very wild news around the internet - some sites reported a couple of months ago that Zac died in an accident. I believe that IF they are told about the rumors they make a joke about them and go on with their lives. Otherwise, they would become insane.

No video footage of zanessa in utah besides the press conference?
I was see the game to the Lakers and Jazz and Zac and Vanessa are there also Ashley. The announcer said they are watching the game on the left side where the announcer is broadcasting. They were talking to them for a little awhile about HSM 3 and they were seen signing basketballs for little kids and playing during the break!!!!!!!! Ah Zanessa love finally a sighting
Zac and Vanessa spotted at the Utah Jazz game on Sunday. Ashley was there too. They are seated on the left side of the broadcaster table. you could tell Zac wanted to hold Vanessa hand so badly !!!!!!!! Ah Zanessa forever!!!!

you know i am personally getting sick of hearing that vanessa hudgens possed naked or about miley cyrus. what they do or did in their private time is their business not ours. they are humans just like us. who cares what they do in their private lives it isnt like they are running around on tv or out in public naked. so whats the big deal?
FYI, the guy asked Vanessa about Miley as underhanded rude way to bring up her photos that people seriously need to get over. She said she was sorry, and why bring that up at a press conference for the movie?
