High School Musical 3 Press Conference — VIDEO

Melissa, I understand… maybe in her own way, since being in a high school setting, pretending/acting to be in class, having boyfriends (troy), having/making friends, fights w/friends, drama, basketball games… maybe in her own way, she feels she can at least get some experience off of that… after all… they’re acting… Put yourself in her shoes, because she’s making a movie which sets in a High School, she feels she’s getting at least a little bit of an experience. But, if we differ in opinions, that’s fine. I appreciate that.

Hey Narf, aren’t you proud to be called a die-hard Vanessa fan? I think it’s a compliment. I do lover her work and I think she’s gorgeous. But i’m also a die hard fan of many… like my beloved Leo Ugh, Bar is so lucky isn’t she… Zac, James Mcavoy.. Jen Anniston.. LOL

Melissa, if you state your opinion rationally, Vanessa’s die hard fans don’t “attack”. But you went 2 steps further then stating an opinion when you insulted Vanessa, then belittled the opinion her fans have of her.

And just so you know, her fans are not all “little”.

Melissa, i wouldn’t began to say anything to you about the high school experience today. When my sons graduated they told me things that made my hair stand on end and they were in the top 10 percent, popular and jocks. So I’m sure no one is trying to belittle what high school is. On the same page Vanessa is only stating that she is just getting a taste of what high school is through these movies. There are reasons why so many kids are home schooled these days.
As a fan I’m aware that HSM is hardly a representation of high school My sons tease me by saying if one of their teammates had broke out in song and dance they would have all shun him or taken him to see a shrink. As I tell him I enjoy HSM and the cast for what it is fun and entertainment
As for Vanessa voice get over it , my sister still has a “litttle girl voice” and my niece graduates college in two weeks. It doesn’t reflex her intelligence

Awww . . . how sweet that Vanessa fielded that question they asked Zac. So cute that the press and everyone laughed. And I loved the way Zac mouthed “Thank you” to Vanessa.

They all looked exceptionally great and relaxed at this press conference.

I can’t help but notice how much Vanessa has grown as a confident and poised young woman. I love her very articulate answers to questions, her poise and how cleverly she fields inappropriate questions from the press. I’m really proud of her. She was focus of the article below and you can see that the press respected her approach to personal questions asked. You go girl! You will always have your fans behind you.

Hi, everyone! Stuck here at a middle school Drama Festival competition! But the plays are fabulous. Makes me think of the first HSM and Troy and Gabriella trying out!

#73 rkwybaby…..the only “smart thing” you said was about the rings. I thought Vanessa handled all questions very well. I think people have to remember she’s just 19, and she’s maturing before our eyes, compared to the girl we saw promoting HSM 1. I think she looks beautiful, calm, radiant, and poised at this press conference. I think being in love has something to do with it too…..
