High School Musical 3 Press Conference — VIDEO
Here’s the video of the High School Musical 3: Senior Year cast at the start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday.
A reporter slyly asks Vanessa about Miley Cyrus’s semi-topless Vanity Fair photos.
Vanessa, 19, smartly declines to answer, smiles, and says, “You know, we’re here to talk about the movie.”

Right you are steph! I find it funny how sara tells us to just overlook the comments we don’t like and move on, yet she feels the need to pick at every response one of us gives.
You are welcome to your comments Sara, but please take your own advice. Skip over our comments and move on to the ones you want to read.
I wish you weren’t one of the newer commentors, because I would love to see how your “I think I know best” attitude would have handled the comments we faced 6 months ago. Somehow i think you would singing a different tune.
As a matter of fact, I notice that when the threads ARE full of hatred, vulgarity, and profanity, (the ones you say we can comment on) you are oh so convienently MIA..
I’m sorry if you feel I am being to harsh on you, but I am tired of your insinuations and reprimands on the wrong people.
We don’t like “attacking” (really hate to use that word) fellow supporters, but when they attack us first, what are we supposed to do?
No need to apologize narf, you aren’t being harsh! I guess my point was misunderstood?
I saw that Melissa kept asking why she was being attacked, and I pointed out that she called us fans “little” and that by reading through the lines of her post, that is what people were “attacking” her for, that underlying mesage.
I referred to my telling someone to shut up as a point that I’ve made mistakes and got too passionate before (I later apologized to that person) where I wrongfully snapped at someone in a previous thread. Very right you are, I wasn’t here 6 months ago, and I’ve said before that it probably wasn’t pretty from the looks of people still bringing up that event (which I think is what you were alluding to?)
But I may be taking the wrong approach if my comments have in the past upset Steph or you narf who are also supporters, so I will try to be more mindful of my words in the future. I definetly enjoy reading what you all have to say. It was not my intent to attack other fans in my earlier response. I was only trying to say if melissa (or others of her viewpoint that say Vanessa is annoying) want to come around here then they should not be surprised that they are met with the kind of resonse she received and she should shrug it off because not everyone will agree with her.

Wanted to share this vid. It has a part when a man asks Zac if he and Vanessa are dating. His response is so cute! He looks pretty bashful and smitten, and Vanessa says “we’re here to talk about the movie” but it’s a really cute moment :)

sometimes the press can just be idiotic. They’re talking about the movie not Miley Cyrus.
I think this movie is gonna be good, i have to admit though that i’m not THAT big of a fan, like when i see Zac Efron i won’t be like ‘OH MY GOD I LOVVVVVVVVVE YOUUUUU!!!!!” just an autograph and a pic. But you can just tell that this movie is gonna be BIG! :D

Ha Ha! the pap arnt a dumb as they look, they so aimed the topless miley pictures at vanessa because of her scandle but even though I HATE Miley and Vanessa she handled the question really well while being in the limelight.

I think that the reason why they asked Vanessa about Miley is the same reason why they asked her about Britney when they did that interview in Palm Springs, to see if they could get a reaction from her about the you-know-what without having to say it, which is really sad, like V said, it was about the movie, not about anything else and that part have already been dealt with, I wish the media would move on the same as most of us have.
On happier note, Zac looked really cute mouthing ‘Thank You’ toward Vanessa after she sorta saved him. And he almost blushed which was also cute.
