OlderHigh School Musical 3 Press Conference — FIRST PICTURES!
The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year participates in the start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday.
Who showed up? Director Kenny Ortega, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu.
Principal photography will kick off tomorrow, May 3. The all-new HSM3 feature film will be shot on location in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is set for release in theaters October 24, 2008. High School Musical 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy and Gabriella facing the prospect of separation as they head off to different colleges. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future. With incredible new music and exciting dance numbers designed to take maximum advantage of the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment from East High’s talented ensemble.

sara, thanks for the video! I love hearing them chat about how much they enjoy doing these movies- it really shows onscreen! They look relaxed and so happy to be back together!
And to that Zashley fan talking about body language. Where else is Zac supposed to put his hand in a group shot where they’re so close together? If you’re really looking at body language, look at how Ashley is facing outward, with just her hand on Zac’s back. Now compare that to the way Vanessa is turned almost completely toward Zac looking up at him…..now that’s togetherness.
Does anyone know who Morgan Fairchild is? I think Ashley looks a LOT like her in these pictures!

Natalie, I totally agree with you!! That’s why I don’t get these “Zashley” dreamers. They have had every opportunity to date in the past, and knew each other. They WOULD have, but it’s not anything more than friendship, sorry to burst your bubbles.

Click on the picture to see it in HQ and find Zac’s left hand. And by the way, he stands closer to Vanessa all the time. And if I remember correctly, Zac want to the basketball match with Vanessa and not with Ashley and he hold Vanessa’s hand, not Ashley’s.
No offense, I love Ashley as well but I don’t believe Zac sees her more than his big sister. That’s all.
But I really like the fact that you support Zac no matter what! It’s a very mature attitude! You go girl!

And for the “zac has his hand on Ashley so he must like her” fans, yeah I’m sure he does like her. They’re probably really good friends. They knew each before hsm and he was on suite life. Zac is always saying that Ashley is beautiful and Ashley always calls zac a hottie. They’re such good close friends that they can do that. And whenever zac and Ashley pose together, especially in such close quarters, they’re always hugging and wrapping their hands around each other.
Now, none of this means that they want to go out or anything like that. Like somebody mentioned earlier, zac never puts his hand on vanessa’s waist. They have never been very public about their relationship. They never are like that I’m public so nobody should expect them to start right now.
Kari, sorry, but how do you know where Zac’s left hand is?? Or Vanessa’s right arm?? I’d worry more about the hands you CAN’T see, not the ones that are there for the public to see……..

Natalie #195- I didn’t think Vanessa did for a long time but I noticed after HSM2 when her hair was short that it would sometimes be instantly long again. And Ashley has already mentioned how dye jobs when she was younger left her hair at about shoulder length and she adds them in for length. Don’t get me wrong, I think they both have gorgeous locks but for movies (and maybe just personal preference) I’m sure fuller, lush hair is desirable.
