I am sure Angie’s mom didn’t dye her hair at age of 2. 2 years old is still a baby.

no ?? about other kids @ 05/04/2008 at 1:44 am - @ 05/04/2008 at 1:11 am #385 -
oh really? that’s sweet. i bet she wants to go with them but since her mum and dad is afraid with stalkers (as you say) they will just leave her in the basement with the nanny.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You of course only have concern for one child and there are 4 kids total? One child with them, and 3 others at home, and you only rant about one of the other 3?

You are such a racist of course.

Neither Mad, Pax, and Shi were with their parents.

But no concern voiced for Mad and Pax, right you hooded KKK member?

Get back under your rock with the rest of the Klan.

Racist?? Rofl! OR, maybe, just maybe, it’s because Shiloh is seen far less than the other kids are. I’ve never understood why people have to bring race into everything. Plus, Shiloh is Angelina and Brad’s biological child. However much Brad and Angelina treat the kids equally, others will always see the difference and others will always see Shiloh and other bio baby as Brangie’s “real kids”. It’s wrong and unfair, but that’s the way it is. Why you have to mention race, I don’t know.

Oh yeah, definetly. I agree with you. But dying a child’s hair is still pretty damn bad, if you ask me.

Well Angie was a child who was old enough to say that she loved it.

A 2 year older is a baby who can’t say the same, can they?

I am not one saying anything about what Tom and Katie do with their child but I do hope they have not dyed a baby’s hair.

Paul Allen
By Thomas Insel and Story Landis
If the brain is science’s great frontier, you need someone to lead the expedition—someone with smarts and curiosity, not to mention a large bank account to finance the journey. In the terra incognita of the brain, that’s Paul Allen.

Co-founder of Microsoft, owner of three sports teams and lead backer of SpaceShipOne, which in 2004 made the first private manned space flight, Allen, 55, is also head of the Allen Institute for Brain Science, which was founded in 2001 with the goal of mapping the brain, cell by cell and gene by gene. His scientific team began with the mouse brain and finished the job in 2006, posting all the data online. Scientists everywhere now have a free neural GPS to learn where and how specific genes are expressed—a vital tool for studying similar functions in human brains.

The institute has now begun its own effort to map human gene expressions, hoping for insight into the molecular basis of consciousness and creativity. Allen founded his institute in the belief that with the right tools you can transform the speed of science itself. Not many people accomplish that even once. Allen is doing it yet again.

BABY BUMPS … @ 05/04/2008 at 1:56 am

DOCS may recommend not flying after that time, and commercial carriers have rules re flying after 36 weeks due to liability issues, but if you fly private you can fly whenever you want to.

Alaska Governor two weeks ago went into labor at a meeting in Texas, spoke, then got on a plane and flew home in labor all the way to Alaska to deliver.

It is just so sick to dye a 2 years old baby’s hair. TomKat is psycho.

Lookie @ 05/04/2008 at 1:58 am

I’m willing to bet Angelina was around 11 or 12 at that time. Even that’s too young IMO, but it’s a long way from lightening a toddler’s hair when the kid has just turned two years old.

I’ve seen some stupid posts on this web site but I’ve never seen anything to top that one. How old are you, honey, about fourteen and a half? Does your mommy know you’re on here pasting all the crap you copied from the FF website? And isn’t it way past your bedtime anyway?

You may not see it as racist, but many do because that is exactly how some who post here are. There are never any screams as to why the other kids are not seen at a certain time, but there are always screams re Shiloh. No one ever says the other kids are being kept by a nanny but some say this all the time about Shiloh.

Some also act as if Zahara is taking Shiloh’s place in some way and that is crazy. Zahara might be the child that always wants to go with the parents while the other kids might not want to.

Adopted kids are real kids too. I just do not understand how anyone thinks any differently. But some people do indeed feel that way and they come here and express just that belief.

Most people do not bring their youngest out as much as their older kids. Ben Stiller’s son has been seen maybe 2 times in 2-3 years, his 6 year old daughter is seen often. PatrickD is seen with his 6 year old daughter all the time, he is seldom seen with his twin baby sons.

If I were Brad and Angie I would keep Shiloh and the new baby out of sight as much as possible, away from the crazies, until they are school age.

My doc did not want me traveling at the end of my 8th month. Love Angie’s purse. She always has hot bags.
I fell out of my chair laughing about the post about Jen telling about her product. co. and no one really caring!
Love Angie, but would love to see Shi. Think she so cute, mixture of Brad and Angie. Like all the kids but Shi and Pax are my favorites.

Have you noticed how TC shows a differnce toward Suri and his adopted kids?

Nite all.

WASHINGTON — Four years after the National Park Service curtailed international travel when Congress complained about foreign junkets, semi-grounded park officials are improvising to maintain ties with colleagues abroad.

The move saved money and political heartache, but it also complicated park diplomacy.

Now, officials at parks like Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon must find other ways to keep up meaningful relations with sister parks in other countries.
“Hopefully, we’re not so arrogant to think that we in the United States know everything there is to know about the protection of natural resources,” said Craig Axtell, superintendent of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

In theory, sister parks help each other out. Parks trade tips, swap rangers and find common ground. They are becoming more popular.

In October 2006, for instance, Cambodian and U.S. officials convened at Giant Forest to sign an agreement linking Sequoia and Kings Canyon with Cambodia’s Samlaut Protected Area.

The five-page agreement calls for park managers to share law enforcement “methods and techniques,” environmental education ideas, fire management tactics and more.

The agreement further anticipates “short-term personnel exchanges” between the U.S. parks and Samlaut, a 148,263-acre mountainous area in northwestern Cambodia.

In late January, Axtell and five other U.S. representatives traveled to Samlaut. Axtell said the Cambodian affiliation could help Sequoia and Kings Canyon to reach out to the San Joaquin Valley’s sizable Asian population.

Last year, Yosemite officials signed similar sister park agreements with parks in Chile and China. Nationwide, about three dozen cross-border sister park deals exist.

The Golden Gate National Recreation Area near San Francisco is tied to parks in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. The John Muir National Historic Site in Martinez is linked to the one-time United Kingdom home of the Scottish-born conservationist.

“There are a lot of benefits,” Yosemite spokesman Scott Gediman said.

“It provides us with different perspective. It offers an exchange of ideas.”

Yosemite Superintendent Mike Tollefson traveled to China’s Huangshan National Park and Chile’s Parques Nacional Torres del Paine in mountainous Patagonia to endorse the respective sister park deals.

The National Park Service would not pay for Tollefson’s overseas trips.

Instead, Tollefson had to rely on corporate contributions donated through the nonprofit Yosemite Fund.

“We’ve been fortunate, here in Yosemite, to have private funding for those kinds of trips,” Gediman said.

Axtell’s National Park Service team had its way to Cambodia paid for by the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which helps manage Samlaut. The foundation is supported by Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The foundation paid for two teams of Cambodian park rangers to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and more Cambodian rangers will be coming this summer.

“Had it not been for that funding, it would have been very, very difficult” to travel, Axtell said.

IIn fact, the agreement linking Samlaut, Sequoia and Kings Canyon specifies that “all travel costs” for National Park Service employees “will be sought from funds” outside of the federal government. Other sister park agreements face identical travel constraints.

Axtell said the private funding makes sense, given the other pressing needs facing his parks. It would be difficult, he said, to justify using limited public funds for travel to Asia.

Such concerns prompted the curtailment in international travel.

In the 2003 fiscal year, National Park Service employees made 194 trips to foreign locations at a cost to U.S. taxpayers of $324,231, an Interior Department Office of Inspector General audit found.

Headquarters staff accounted for many of the trips, traveling to China, France, South Africa and Japan, among other countries.

Officials further noted a “steadily increasing number of trips” overseas starting in the late 1990s, according to the Government Accountability Office. Auditors warned that poor accounting and oversight made it difficult to accurately monitor the foreign travel, and lawmakers quickly amplified the message.

she’s huge and she’s allowed to fly? is this safe?

“U.S. parks keep sister ties in other nationsRelations with parks overseas mutually helpful, officials say” cont.

“It doesn’t help to have a herd of bureaucrats spending goodness-knows-how-much public money for a junket,” then-Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., told reporters at the time.

Facing bipartisan congressional ire, the park service’s then-director Fran Mainella essentially banned foreign travel for agency employees.

In recent weeks some park advocates have quietly broached on Capitol Hill the possibility of allowing more foreign travel for sister parks. Stephan D. Bognar, a Canadian who oversees Cambodian programs for the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, helped make the pitch for liberalizing park service travel policies.

“The United States has something to offer to the world,” Bognar said.

“We can actually bring park management experience to other countries.”

#405: I think her mother dyed her hair dark when she was fourteen! Hardly an age close to Suri’s. Why would they want to change her natural hair color unless they are planning on doing something related to it…like putting her in a picture or something.

You honestly think that some people pay more attention to Shiloh because she’s white?

Angelina has made some questionable comments about Shiloh. The way she has worded some things has caused people to question her feelings/love for Shiloh. Now don’t get me wrong; I have zero doubt that she loves her baby. I just think that since she’s in the public eye and people are listening to every word she says, she should be more careful in how she says things. The point is, some of the things Angelina has said started this whole big thing about Shiloh.

On top of that, we don’t see Shiloh nearly as much as we see the other kids. I’ll admit that I often wonder why myself. It’s kind of weird, and it confuses me when some people defend that as: “Well, she’s still just a baby.” Uh, Zee was seen in public at two-years old much more often than Shiloh is. However, I can also see it from a different point of view: Shiloh is a popular baby, and we all know how the paps are when she’s around.

What I’m trying to get at is that I really don’t think it has anything to do with race. I think it has to do with 1) Angie’s comments, 2) Shiloh rarely being seen, and 3) the whole thing about Shiloh being the biological baby.

I agree with you where adopted kids are concerned. They are real kids too. If I had adopted children, it would really hurt if I knew that people didn’t consider them as much “my kids” as my natural born children. I know that it would also pain those kids deeply. Someone doesn’t have to be blood-related to you to be “family”, IMO.

..

I think of this stupid argument each time your stupid people want to ask where is Shiloh. Zahara was mostly seen traveling with her parents from one place to another. The difference now is the Jolie PItts have a private plane. Thus no walking through airports. Plus they have increase their security. Zahara was not seen that much out and about going to stores. That is why the pictures from Prague were such a surprise because Zahara showed her personalty plus that she was walking properly. Something people did not know because Zahara was NOT seen that much
