Suri sported a new lightened do and carried her milk (and barley?) bottle.
Here are some quotes from this past Friday’s Oprah interview with Tom:
On [his children] Connor and Bella reading tabloid reports about Cruise:”They love me, so they know. They’ve grown up with that, and I’m sure there are things that they don’t like, and you go, ‘Okay, that happened, things go wrong, but don’t live in it. On dressing like Santa to surprise Suri: “I open the door, and I’m giving my best, ‘Oh, merry Christmas! Oh, look at this little girl,’ and Suri looks at me, and she says, ‘No – Dada!’ So that night, we were putting Suri down. Kate says, ‘How was it? Did you like it? I had this done to me as a child because my mom wanted my hair to stay blond. It was not good. I think it is very wrong. Let alone with the chance of chemical in the eye.

if it was the sun, her parents’hair, especially her mother who clearly is the one who has been more exposed to the sun, would have it too. and all three are caught in daylight in some pictures.
Plus it is clear that Suri wasn’t in the sun, her skin is pale so she was protected and certainly had some cap on her head most of the time when under the sun.
Last thing, her new hair color is auburn uneven with reddish highlights,. Sun rays make part of the hair, not the whole head, the ends mainly blondish and dry not reddish, smoothly uneven and brilliant like that !
o my god, I recently had my hair colored and they had to use peroxide and that stung me, she’s just 2 imagine what she felt, thats just wrong man!
Suri is adorable but I really hope that lighter hair is a result of her being out in the sun and/or the lighting because otherwise it is cruel to color such a young girl’s hair. As far as the bottle goes, that does not mean they are bad parents, it just means that Suri probably gets extremely upset if they try switching to a sippy cup. It happens quite often. Her teeth will be fine. Teeth go bad if you let a baby sleep with the bottle in the mouth like they used to do in the pre-1970s.

Oh come on, even if it’s not the lighting, kids’ hair just seems to spontaneously lighten like that. Seriously- I’ve seen it happen with so many of my friend’s children, seemingly overnight. Once, I noticed a dramatic transformation over the course of one week. I’m sure that her parents did not color her hair.

Just a thought. My son was born with dark brown hair. When he was around 18 months or so the roots started coming in very light blond. He looked kind of strange for a few months. Since he was a boy I just kept cutting it and eventually it was all blond.

LOL, they still make that stuff? A friend of mine sprayed some Super Sun-In in her hair and turned the hair dryer up to high, and it came out looking ORANGE! She never tried that again!

Suri and her parents aren’t standing in direct sunlight or under any other bright light in that picture.
Yet her hair looks at least three shades lighter than it used to look.
Her parents put something on that child’s hair to lighten it.
I think its the lighting, and also, you can’t forget that sometimes when you are in cold weather, you hair gets lighter, mostly that happens to caucasian people. And they were recently up in the snowy mountains of Colorado. Also, little white kids hair is thinner and looks lighter when they are litle kids. They can be born with black hair, then it gets lighter, then when they get older it goes back to turning dark. I also saw recent pics of Suri and Tomkat with Oprah, and her hair was definitely dark. Also, I wouldn’t rule out that some photo agency photoshopped the lighting in there, they can do all sorts of things.
I can understand the sun lightening hair but it doesn’t happen over night. And what really bothers me is that her eyebrow match her hair color too (picture 5). I hope they didn’t do her hair and then her eyebrows to match! Chemicals for babies a no-no especially around the eyes.

How long did it take for their hair to turn from black to blonde? My son was born with black hair, then it turned blonde, then it turned dark brown — but this took many months. Suri’s hair turned light overnight almost, and that is not a natural process.
These photos do not lie. They put something on that child’s hair to make it lighter.

This picture was taken on Wed or Thursday of last week. Suri’s hair looks DARK. Fastforward one week and her hair is lighter, its not the light, her hair is lighter. Suri is carrying a bottle, is wrapped in a blanket when she rarely wears a coat or sweater and is barefoot; you can see her red toe nail, and is still being carried by her mother.
When I first saw this picture I was shocked and then sad for this little girl because she indeed is being treated like a grown up (with a bottle). Suri will most definitely have an abnormal childhood.

I don’t think they died her hair. I saw a pic at People.com, and it looks lighter, but not as light as it does here. Also, this isn’t the first time she’s been photographed with light hair. Go back and look at pics of her at the NY marathon last November, and you’ll see her hair looks almost as light as it does here. Like most kids, her hair color probably changes due to the sun, her age, etc.

I’ve had a theory from day one about Suri’s parentage: Tom has a cousin who is a bit-player actor and who strongly resembles Tom - but isn’t as good looking. I’ve always suspected that they used him as a donor when they conceived Suri. I’ve never heard this before, but I’ve always suspected it. It’s been widely known for years that Tom can’t father children. And in the Oprah interview, Tom never did answer her regarding Suri’s parentage. But as far as the hair thing … I think it’s just getting lighter naturally from being out in the sun. And with Suri having an older, teenaged big sister - it was probably Bella who put the nail polish on her fingers. That would make more sense …

Like I said in the nest artice, people must say the same thing about me. My daughter used to have black hair almost and now it is a medium to dark brown. She is only a little older than Suri!
Childrens’ hair change colors when they are that age. I seriously doubt that a man who has a problem with children taking medication for depression or ADD is going to be okay with his toddler daughter’s hair being chemically treated for vanity’s sake.
Suri is the perfect combination of Katie and Tom.

Children’s hair color does change, but usually lighter to darker, not visa versa.
People get a grip…it has just been lightened by the sun. Small children like her often get very light in the sun. My boys have brown hair but anytime they spend much time outside in the sun it get very light.

Suri was born with already very dark hair, like her mom’s, only hair colouring can make her look that way. what kind of parents Tom and Katie are? I dont see what the fuss is about her hair… peoples hair do tend to lighten as they get older, doesn’t necessarily mean they dyed it. However, if they did dye it, thats just crazy and wrong.
It’s not highlights, it’s just the light on her hair. Good Lord people are catty.
My daughter has the same eye colour as suri, a sort mix of blue and brown and her hair colour too has changed to a much more auburn brown - i think it is just natural for the hair to change colour at that age. I very much doubt that they have dyed her hair. I for one know i would NOT be able to get my daughter to sit still for long enough and i don’t think any parent would do that.
