leave their Manhattan hotel with daughter Suri, 2, on a cloudy Saturday afternoon.
Suri sported a new lightened do and carried her milk (and barley?) bottle.
Here are some quotes from this past Friday’s Oprah interview with Tom:
On [his children] Connor and Bella reading tabloid reports about Cruise:”They love me, so they know. They’ve grown up with that, and I’m sure there are things that they don’t like, and you go, ‘Okay, that happened, things go wrong, but don’t live in it. Don’t live in that because today is a new day and there’s plenty of tomorrows. They’re good people, my children. I’m proud of them.I don’t want them to worry. They know I’m there. No matter what, I’m always there.”
On dressing like Santa to surprise Suri: “I open the door, and I’m giving my best, ‘Oh, merry Christmas! Oh, look at this little girl,’ and Suri looks at me, and she says, ‘No – Dada!’ So that night, we were putting Suri down. Kate says, ‘How was it? Did you like it? What did you think of Santa?’ And Suri was really sweet, she looks up, and she goes, ‘Dada Santa.’”

I think its the lighting, and also, you can’t forget that sometimes when you are in cold weather, you hair gets lighter, mostly that happens to caucasian people. And they were recently up in the snowy mountains of Colorado. Also, little white kids hair is thinner and looks lighter when they are litle kids. They can be born with black hair, then it gets lighter, then when they get older it goes back to turning dark. I also saw recent pics of Suri and Tomkat with Oprah, and her hair was definitely dark. Also, I wouldn’t rule out that some photo agency photoshopped the lighting in there, they can do all sorts of things.
I can understand the sun lightening hair but it doesn’t happen over night. And what really bothers me is that her eyebrow match her hair color too (picture 5). I hope they didn’t do her hair and then her eyebrows to match! Chemicals for babies a no-no especially around the eyes.
Suri is a doll.
I hope they aren’t coloring her hair. Give her a 5,000. haircut but no chemicals on her delicate scalp.
She is definitely too old for a bottle.
Suri needs a nose job. Her nose is too big like tom’s.

Im very happy for Tom,Katie,the kiddies and entire family. Their home is full of love and joy, all lovely people inside and outside.
They are blessed with caring loyal friends.
Their successful work and careers are just icing on the cake.

Oh…and to the poster’s whose son’s hair went from dark to blonde..
all three of my sister’s kids were born with heads full of thick black curls……and all three turned into kids with super pale blonde hair..

How long did it take for their hair to turn from black to blonde? My son was born with black hair, then it turned blonde, then it turned dark brown — but this took many months. Suri’s hair turned light overnight almost, and that is not a natural process.
These photos do not lie. They put something on that child’s hair to make it lighter.
That is sooo lame. I am sure they did NOT color her hair, my youngest daughter had medium to light brown hair and then it gradually got lighter and lighter, she is a total toehead now, she is only 2 months older than Suri. Kids hair changes all the time. She also is a CA kid and being it the sun or chlorine lightens the hair immensely. Stop picking on them.

i was one of katie’s fans (i never liked tom ) but after this, i’m no longer a fan and i’m serious, that is the last straw for me, these two people have proven to me they are lunetics, my patience has its limit, they’re crazy ,why don’t they change their own hair color for getting more attention, i was never a fan of angie, after she got married to brad(not because of jen i don’t care about her, believe me just because i wasn’t brad’s fan to begin with) but now i have respect for her(still don’t like brad), honest, at least she doesn’t use shiloh for getting attention trying change her and use her like a doll ( i hope angie doesn’t prove me wrong) i feel sorry for souri and i am sure most of their fans think the same way, that’s horrible.

I was moved to tears with Cruise interview Friday afternoon. Katie and Suri looks so cute. Tom is so hot on that show.
She looks exactly like Tom!! wow.
I highly doubt they dyed her hair…it could be a numerous amount of reasons as to why it’s lighter. My grandma and uncle both had blonde hair growing up and it’s black now.

For the sake of the child, I hope what I read is not correct.
I am just curious about the words that this family used. “strong woman”, “magical”, and now “good people”?
Good People?! For his own children?
May be I am wrong….how closed is his relationship to his children that he calls his own children “good people”? Can’t he use other words, which shows more love?
Or do you, English speakers (since I am not), use this word to describe your children?
A bottle and dyed hair on a 2 year old is incompetent parenting.
It’s that simple.
Now, why would you post such a headline to your website, when you don’t know the cause of the ‘ aparent’ lighting?
Maybe it’s just an optical illusion, maybe it’s lighting naturally or something else. You don’t know the cause of it.
I really thought this site was appreciative of all celebrities and I hoped there was an understanding, especially now, after Tom’s interview, of what an effect a statement like that has for ignorant people who believe everything they read, without giving any thought to it.
But I guess this was the intention, to harm these people and certain celebrities. I guess you are like any other blogger and gossip feeder out there : You have your own favourites ( Brangelina, of course …and Nicole Kidman) and you will praise them and ’sanctify’ them, but on the other hand, you will say anything nasty about those you don’t like, for whatever reason you thing this is helping you in any way.
I really liked this site, because you were quick in getting new pics of celebs. But this will definetely be the last time I visit it.
BTW, it’s one thing to reproduce some article in some tabloid, because people know what to expect from this kind of magazines and it’s another thing to create gossip and turn an impression or an opinion you have into fact. This is what you have started doing.And it’s harming this family and that little girl and I personally see no reason for it.

People please stop saying that it is the light. IT IS NOT THE LIGHT. her hair is just lighter. maybe it is moving into a new phase, maybe her crazzy a.s.s. parents used the wrong shampoo, maybe they did color her hair or maybe she’s starting to look like her REAL parents (lol) either way it is lighter. it is not the lighting if it were KatE’s hair which is dark brown would show more highlights and Tom’s as well. Use some sense fans.
As for that interview. Well he didn’t change his image. what happened was Oprah got ratings and Tiny Tom got the attention we all know he loves and craves. He didn’t appear normal, he appeared like Tom trying to sway the public’s mind. the family wasn’t there at the beginning Kate said she was taking the kids into town, more shopping, so how can you say ‘the family seems so normal’?you didn’t see the family you saw Tom so you have no idea how ‘normal’ this family is.
Monday Oprah carts out all 5-8 of Tiny Tom’s frends to talk nice about him and have a regular love fest and why? Oprah has no real reason, she didn’t even seem to really believe his words at the house but ALL HAIL THE PULL OF RATINGS!!!! I really don’t know how they both managed to fit in that studio, their heads are so big. But you have to give it to Tom he is trying…will it work? doubt it. I saw an early unfinished cut of Valkyrie…it is not a good movie and Tom’s inability to affect any kind of accent let alone a german accent is very noticeable as everyone else in the movie has either a German, French or British accent. he’s been in this business to long not to realize the affect that will have. Even Pitt tried in Troy…it wasn’t a strong accent but it was there. Crusie doesn’t even try, he sounds like a california boy lost in Nazi Germany.
That’s really too bad since he’s been in the business for 25 years as Oprah keeps harping on about. By now you have expected more frm Tom.
Her hair just got lighter because of the sun.
