James doesn’t talk about his relationship because no one cares to ask him anything. He isn’t the subject of articles or interviews. The way that he smiles for the cameras makes me sure that he would talk if anyone cared to listen. But they don’t. He’s a nobody, as far as celebrities go. Miranda is becoming a celebrity in her own right, not just arm candy.

Yes Miranda has walked runways, but I said AD CAMPAIGNS. I listed a few select ad campaigns he’s done, not runways. Learn to read. Miranda has mostly done runways in Australia. James has walked runways, for Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and high end luxury fashion brands all over Milan, Paris, London and NYC. At the rate she’s going she won’t be able to catch up with him, and male models don’t have as much available work to them as female models because there are more labels that do womens fashion.

He seems like a bit of a social climber himself at time, IMO. So, sake or no sake, pretentiousness and snobbery are not necessarily out of his realm of personal behavior and choice of companionship. She had major campaigns way before Leo. Of course dating him made her a household name but it’s not like she advertised it like Miranda. Have you ever been to a VS fashion show? If not, how would you know what kinds of people, snobs or no snobs, fashionistas or slobbolas, are actually in attendance? I openly admit that I’ve never attended their fashion/lingerie shows. The VS fashion show, however, like any other fashion show, is designed to get publicity and to sell the merchandise. Celebs will be in attendance, as they are with other fashion shows, to guarantee exposure and publicity. Naturally, the celebrities generally sit in the front row right along the catwalk.

It sounds as though the Costume Gala is for people who are seriously into contemporary fashion and up-to-the-minute fashion. If that makes them fashion snobs, then so be it. VS runway shows are fashion shows designed to promote and sell their current product lines. It’s also THE place to meet a sexy VS model, n’est pas? Why else would Orlando attend a VS fashion show? To buy his mom and sister bras and panties? Not likely. Orlando had his own agenda when he attended the December ‘06 VS fashion show, I think, and he came away with something.

If all he can date and socially mingle with are movie stars, celebrities and models, then I would say he is a snob in his own right. And I stand by that opinion. It is only my opinion.

If he gets used by such people, then in my opinion, he deserves it, because I firmly believe he has used some of them in his own way. His fame and wealth are not an excuse to exclude real people from everyday society from his life. Other famous celebs “keep it real.” I just don’t see that trait coming from Orlando these days, but that’s personal perception and not necessarily fact.

We can at least agree that Orlando would not be invited to the Costume Gala, and most likely neither would Miranda. Kate and James are fashion conscious and both get a large chunk of their publicity by wearing up-to-the-minute fashions and current trends. Miranda is not known for wearing big name or highly trendy designers, and neither is Orlando. I just don’t think Bloomanda will be there. ;)

Orlando’s best friends are the same friends that he had before he was famous. When we see him going out to dinner, it is with these old friends, not “Hollywood” types. He seldom goes to clubs, and when he does go, again, it’s his old friends by his side. These real people are, evidently, very important to him. He does mingle at parties attended by the elite in his business, and that is important for networking. You have to have good contacts in this business. That doesn’t make him a snob, that makes him smart. Do you expect him to go hang out at McDonald’s? Or to go to some kid’s Quincenera?

Totally agree. I think its PR but its not very well done PR. As long as Orlando says nothing then he has an easy way out. He can simply disregard any “gossip” as untrue and claim that any quotes were misinterpreted, taken out of context. He’s done it before.

yeah im having a hard time believing that its for PR as well…… if it was then he would have pulled out a while ago. Im not sure however what is better though.

Well I am not sure. On the other hand if he really was so willing to get in touch with her, maybe they are a good couple and keep up with each other perfectly well. I mean I know many people may not like it or so but it is possible.
I know that there have been many strange coinsidences but excluding her stupid talking gto the press they seem quite comfortable and fine with each other.

A friend of mine who has an account at OLove told me about the photos and she told me there’s some mention that Orlando took the donut from the table, took a bite and gave it to Miranda. I know it’s stupid little thing but such silly things make relationship. At least I think so.

I’m with ya there. I haven’t looked at the pictures but I first heard Mayafram(or whatever her name is) mention it on the board and you would think they were all over each other. Someone else checked and said they are only in one picture together and in that one he is leaning more towards the other woman in the picture.
His body language in almost everthing we’ve seen gives it away for me.

I don’t think he is in love with her but if he agreed to do this for a bit he probably doesn’t hate her and they at least have to be somewhat friends through it all.Although at times it seems he is so done with her he can’t stand her and others just tolerating her for a bit. I imagine it would also depend on the motive for doing this, if he was guilted into it or not.
It doesn’t even look like there is any real attraction left there between them. Yes, I know some will say “but she is a VS model” but I think that means nothing in real life once you know someone. I dont think she is even that amazing to begin with but even if she was if you’re over it you’re over it it doesn’t matter.

Miranda Kerr is the whole opposite of a beauty. She looks terribble.

Mayfrayn is that sorry 40 something sad old lady from O love who thinks everything he does is sweet, and wonderful and fantastic. She spent all kinds of money going to see his play and taking him cookies and stuff. She is kind of sad. She makes avatars of him and Miranda, and just thinks Miranda is the sweetest and most beautiful thing. He could poison the world’s water supply and laugh as we all died, and she would with her dying breath say what a wonderful boy he is. She has ventured onto IMBD, don’t know how long she will last there. It has its’ share of shippers, but many are pretty disallusioned with Orlando, and even more think Miranda is a huge famew0re. I mean I am all for positive thinking, but this woman is in a huge state of denial. Orli never drinks, drugs or picks up girls for threesomes or foursomes, and of course her sweet boy would never do one night stands. I mean get real lady. But when a 40 something woman is this infautuated with someone young enough to be her son, you have to wonder a litte about her mental state.

Great minds! I just looked at those pictures and thought the same thing! You just know Cabbage Patch would sell her first born to be invited to that event, but I don’t think cheap panties and low rent store campaigns are going to do it. Instead of the Gala at the Met, she gets to host a kissing booth tomorrow, which is about as high class as that frat party she hosted during spring break. She should look at Giselle and take notes, especially when she appears with her high-profile, A-list boyfriends and doesn’t feel the need to talk about them non-stop. Or maybe Orlando should take a look at Leo or Tom Brady and see that it’s possible to date a model who doesn’t make a fool of you.

Gestern mit Nati und Kerstin getroffen. Warn mal kurz beim Tatoowierer Termin für Nati ausmachen und gleich weiter in die Pizzaria Don Alfredo! Echt lecker dort, allerdings warn da zwei alte Frauen, Gott wenn ich so werde bringts mich um!! Nur gemeckert und was weiß ich und dann rauch sich die Kerstin eine an und die eine auf einmal “Weißt, überall wo ich hingeh wird geraucht, und der Rauch zieht immer genau zu mir” .. ja auf das hinauf haben die Nati und ich aufgehört zu essen und haben uns mal eine angraucht..XD Aber es kam alles zurück, die zwei sind dann nämlich voll vom Kellner verorscht worden! ^^
Ja nach da Pizzaria weiter zum Heumarkt, sehr chillig dort, einziges Problem is halt Parkplatz…

Das Gespräch mit Kerstin ist auch recht gut verlaufen, wir haben ich bisschen weiter geholfen. Sie stellt sich eine Beziehung leider leichter vor als es ist, aber naja. FroFro mentioned a good point about the Getty Museum visit - the fact that we never got to see any camera phone/cell phone pictures, or just normal shots of Orlando and Miranda taken by ordinary regular folks visiting the museum that day. That kind of made me wonder…. why haven’t camera phone pictures or people’s private pictures surfaced to show Orlando at the races or places where he’s been spotted in the UK? It’s odd that not only are there no pap pictures, but there aren’t even any civilian pictures. None. Nada. Zippo. Zilch. It’s weird, isn’t it?

If he’s able to keep this up till the end of this month, I’ll eat my cookie dough. Or change from chocolate chip to cinnamon-sugar. ;)

Good points, @242. :) I just figured some people would bring cameras to car and motorcycle races, but the changes of an Orlando fan bringing their camera to such an event, AND having a long range telephoto lense powerful enough to get a reasonably good shot is pretty slim. If such a photo were taken from a distance, Orlando wouldn’t be able to ask for it to be erased, I think, but if a photo were taken up close or close enough for him to see the camera, then he might.

The sighting wasn’t at the tatto salon. They went to the pizzeria, and then the Heumarkt, whick is a big hotel in Vienna. That is where there were lots of guys in a t-shirt that said “Security” and she was guessing if they are there because of an OB lookalike. She said she really wanted his signature but didn’t say if she tried to get it or not. So we don’t know if it wasn’t him or she just didn’t dare to ask for it.

Well I dont know that much about Jay, but it does seems weird that his sister still works for Kerr even thogh the have broken up and all of this media circus. Why would Carly give Orlando the phone # if she was dating Brent. It seem off, and suspicious. His band is called Tamarama. Last summer befor they split she appaered in his music video. Over the summer she denied the rumurs with Orlando and said she has a strong relationship with longtime boyfriend Brent/Jay.

She seems to not care about him as soon as they split, she seems to be the unfaithful type of person, becuase right when they broke up she went straight to Orlando, even though she said she wanted to stay focused on her work and stay single becuase she has been dating most of her life.

Yeah not only does Miranda sound media hungry looks like Carly is too back last year she said that they were just friends, and they bearly get to se each other so they went off to dinner together if they just met in winter of 2006, that mean they only knew each other for a few months, they were more like equantences than friends.
