Personal confession (if not interested, skip it):

It’s weird for me that she’s the first female celebrity whom I fully adore. I have never been the ‘fan-type’ of person before but since I first saw her work I started to like her personality, skills and appearance as well.

At those times I not even realized that Zac exsisted. In my country, the first news that appeared about them as a couple was in last November: that was when I realized that they are probably together. And that was the time when I became interested in Zac’s work as well.

You may wonder why it is weird to adore her. Because, as opposed to many of you, I’m not jelaous. I only accept and support her no matter what. I support her work, her choices and her career. I think she’s the most unique young celebrity these days. Of course, she’s not perfect but her imperfection makes her even more special in my eyes.

Is it love? *laughs* No, it isn’t. It’s just support. It’s just a feeling that I want the best for her. What I feel is more likely a friendship-kind-of feeling although I don’t know her personally. Maybe, or rather surely we will never meet. Heck, probably she doesn’t even know where my country is (not because she’s not intelligent but because my little home is far, far away from the USA) but that doesn’t matter either. Because she proves her love towards me when I can see her big smile and the sparkle in her eyes, when she’s happy. When she continues working and proves the haters/non-fans that their judgements were wrong.

I’m a reporter of a gossip magazine in my country, that’s why I know a lot about celebs. So believe me when I say that this performer is truly outrageous and special. I have never seen anyone before who was this strong, confident, down-to-earth and faithful. Faithful to herself, her goals and fans. I adore her for being who she is and whom she has become during those years in the spotlight.

The lives of the celebrities are everything but easy. They chose this kind of lifestyle but they cannot control it. That’s why some of them make wrong choices and become the victims of their choices. Vanessa is different in my eyes. She lives a lifestyle that we cannot imagine and still remains true to herself.

Not everyone has to adore her or like her. But if anybody sits back and reflects on her career from the neutral point of view of an outsider, she or he has to accept the fact that although her choices were not always inappropriate she battled the obstacles with grace. She probably learnt from her mistakes and became stronger than before. She could have chosen a different path but she didn’t. She chose the truth and never lied, she chose love (of her fans, of her relatives and friends) and not hatred (by bashing people who humiliated her). And that fact tells us a lot about her personality.

What else can I say when I finish my rambling? I wish her good luck and other good choices. And I also hope that someday people would concentrate on her work and not on her personal life. Because she deserves it.

So let her be, work and live peacefully. And please do the same and live in love. Thank you.

The thing is unless you know them personally they could have a whole lot of things in common that we the public don’t know about, we only know them from HSM and yes they have that in common but I would take a guess and say that for something to start nearly 3 year’s ago and continue to grow into something that is obvioulsy very special to the both of them then they have more in common then just being in a film together.

And their family background is not that different they are both the oldest kids in each family, each only have one younger sibling, they both have a mom and a dad, they both like msuical theatre, the only difference is that Zac has done slightly more tv work than Vanessa but not that much.

And they have the biggest assest in any relactionship that if you want it to work it will and that is knowing how to communicate with each other, as Zac has said himself ‘when two people know how to communicate the chemistry is always going to be there.

Couple that with how private they like to keep it I think it’s a safe bet to say that they have a lot more in common than you or anybody else realzies.

I believe Hayden Pantierre (sp??) is also the daughter of a firefighter if I remember reading this — there is NOTHING wrong with Firefighters — they are quite honorable and respected in my community — they are known as “public servants” — what we do without them for sure.

Hey, my father was a firefighter, 2 of my uncles were firefighters, my youngest brotheer is a firefighter. and a large number of the people I grew up with are firefighters. There is not an unsophisticated person in the whole lot.

One “funny observation” after watching this Inside Edition video…..a couple of weeks ago when Vanessa was spotted at the Basketball game taking Zac’s hand - we don’t know if she even knew she was on camera mind you — she took LOTS of flack about being “obvious”. On this video Zac reached and took her hand but no one has made any cmments about him and he KNEW he was on camera!

Just a funny observation tonight!!

Midnightwonder, thanks for the video link. It’s always sends a tingle down my spine to see Zac showing Vanessa any kind of affection cos’ I know it is genuine. You can see Zac grabbing hold of Vanessa’s hand in full view of the press and paps. So it is not so hard to believe sightings/reports of people who have spied/seen Zac kissing or showing any intimacy towards Vanessa.

At least they are more open now as a couple and there are no more akward moments of speculation.

Boji, I agree with your thoughts and comments about Zac showing Vanessa affection and it being genuine. I think they are the real deal as well and I am glad to see he is a little more comfortable with showing it, “even discreetly”, in front of cameras. (now the hand on the behind I don’t think he meant to be seen - that was not discreet but so typical for a young man his age!!) I too tend to believe these recent bloggers about their seeing Zac and Vanessa on set.

Oh, I forgot, romantic as well.

Tealeaf, I’m so sorry about Annette. I have found in my experiences w/people that have down are so loving and always so happy. They’re so pure hearted too! They always make my heart smile. I’m sure Annette touched many that way as well as Jennifer. :)

I hear more and more young kids using the term “retarded” in describing something or someone. They do need to learn that it is a condition not a word to use to put down someone.

As far as the Zashley and Zikki shippers, they do live in a dream world and don’t want to see the real deal for what it is. If you can’t tell that Zac and Vanessa are truly in love by the pictures and videos of them gazing lovingly at each other, holding hands, enjoying being together, and being there for each other, then there’s seriously something not right with your thinking. They’re young, in love, and not hurting anyone, just let them be and let them enjoy their time together. Love is a beautiful thing!

Hmmm . . . I see there are some people commenting on this post who don’t have a clue who Vanessa Hudgens is or anything about the five movies she has done or the award she won for “break-out” music album.

Loved the story about them on the set.

To me it’s very beleivable for these things to be true as after all they are with friends and people that they know and I would imagine feel comfortable around and they are also in a enviroment that they feel comfortable in, where they know that they can show PDA and nobody will think anything of it and of course the bonus that they have’nt got the press in their face’s while they do it as well must help.

But I think that both Zac and Vanessa are getting more at ease showing some PDA in public like at the game or at the press conferencer but again when they feel like it which is fine after all it’s a personal thing between boyfriend and girlfriend. My daughter and her boyfriend are the same they go to the same college and hold hands and small things like that but for anything else kissing they keep it behind closed door and between themselves which I trhink is good and show’s that they have respct for each other’s feelings just like Zac and Vanessa do, you don’t have to grope your partner n public to prove that your a couple or share special feelings with thatsomeone.

Just wanted to say a small thing aboiut the Nikki and Ashley thing with Ashley you can see that he and Zac are friends but no more and this show’s at the press confernce after they had finished he walked off with Vanessa holding her hand and did’nt even look at Ashley when she turned round the only person Zac was looking at was Vanessa and then took her hand.

With Nikki as much s I loved her in Hairspray to me the kiss at the end compared to the kiss in HSM2 said a lot their was much more feeling and geuine look’s of love between Zac and Vanessathan between Zac and Nikki, I know that they were both love interests in the film but the action’s of Zac to me say’s it all at first he seems hesitant at kissing Nikki well Tracy really because I’m sure that’s wehat he was thinking when the kiss took place and nothing more, but compare it to the kiss with Vanessa and it’s totally different action’s and look’s.

I for one a lookingforward to seeing both Zac and Vanessa’s new films apart from HSM3 and seeing their future projects as I’ve a feeling that w’ll be seeig them around for quite a while.

That’s so true as you say the only difference now is that someone is reporting their every move but I have a feeling that although they are more relaxed with their friends and people they know and feel comfortable with they still won’t go over the top with the affection becuase at the end of the day you never know who’s watching.

But like I said I think that the enviroment that their in does make a difference as they can relax and they along with other cast member’s have always said what a fun set it is and it does’nt feel like work becuase of how much they all get on so it’s gotta be a bonus .

And again like any other couple that have been apart for a while they are going to just want to spend some quality time together even though their working if they can get away at any opportunity then good for them,you only have to look at the clips from RTHSM to see that they still have the strong bond that Kenny himself said they had from the start, and some people just need to accept that some bonds don’t getweaker they grow stronger as time goes on, and their bond has certainly been tested and yet it’s still there and so is the love and pride they have for each other when they just look at each other they both beam with love so good luck to them.

Pumpin up the Party, yes we can say you are a copycat since you are only repeating what others have already said in previous attempts to bash Vanessa.

Sorry, but your attempt to “pump up” the bashing party, has only made it more boring then it already was. Your “she has no talent” theme is more overused then any movie plot in Hollywood.

Pumpin_Up_the_Party………..you say this plot is “overused”. Not sure I remember a theatre release movie with this plot. And as Troy mentioned, the script is great, has some nice young actors in it, and I think it will have a big following, based on all the fans out there. Also, I’m sure Vanessa was picked for this role BECAUSE of her talent. Duh. Why would they pick someone who can’t sing? As far as being a “copycat”? You’re saying Vanessa should have turned down a starring movie role, because Ashley did something similar?? That’s just ridiculous.

vanessa finished filming will weeks ago. if anybodys the copycat, its ashley. as far as im concerned, zashley and zikki are a big joke. lyk, i dont even take it seriously wen ppl talk about them happening bcuz i know zanessa fans have already won, and zashley/zikki fans are just bitter about it. zanessa is on, and i dont even think zashley/zikki could happen if they break up. zac and nikki dont even hang out, unless theyre at a preiemre or something, and even then they sometimes just take pics togetr and thats it. same with zac and ashley, the only reason their together now is cuz they HAVE 2 b. u never see zac with ashley if vanessa isnt there, even tho im sure he culd hang out with her if he wanted to. point is, zac doesnt like ashley or nikki in that way. i dont even think zac and ashley would b friends if it werent for vanessa or hsm, and zac and nikki nvr seemed that close neways. so get over it ppls. vanessa and zanessa rule!!!!

I’ve noticed bashers go through a cycle of sorts.

If they can’t pick on Vanessa’s looks, they pick on her talent. If they can’t pick on her talent, they pick on her relationship. If they can’t pick on her relationship, they pick on her pictures. If they can’t pick at her pictures, they go right back to her looks. When that fails, and it almost always does, they start making up random crap in order to bring her down.

I find it funny that almost everytime there’s a new Vanessa post, her fans find a new reason to love her, or something that intesifies one of the reasons they love her. Yet all the haters can do is pick on the same four things over and over and over…It’s pathetic, but it’s almost relaxing to know that admist all the change in our world, some things, and some people, will always remain the same.

Reading your mature posts and in the words of Go Sox, the fact that you ” felt strongly about defending a young woman for an error in judgment when she was too young and not famous” tells me that your kids are pretty lucky to have you all as mothers and Vanessa and Zac are pretty lucky to have you as surrogate mothers supporting them in their lives and careers.
