Amber: I wanted to laugh at your post, but I shall try and respect you. Your so called friend has no freaking idea what he is talkinga about. I meet wentworth when he was in Stockholm earlier this year, I work at the hotel he stayed at. I have only good words to say about him, the man is beyond polite and gorgeous to anyone he comes in contact with. Eveyone at the hotel, the press who was there only said good thinsg about him, I talked with him and he was the most sweet celebrity I have meet, and trust me I have meet tonz of them.

Hello everyone.I just wanted to chime in. I think some of you are being unfair towards Amber. Let me explain why –she’s not totally wrong. Wentworth is not a snob though, but he doesn’t think highly of fans either.

Remember in season 2, when Michael goes to get his car from this towing place, and mahone calls the towing place just as he is there. Remember “Chuck”? He’s the guy who was taking care of the towing place? Well, i dated “Chuck” (real name Chris Berry) for awhile, and was in fact kinda dating him at the time he was filming PB. Anyway, the point is to tell you that Chris spent an enormous amount of time working with Wentworth - that scene was pretty important to that episode, and i believe Chris spent about 2 full days with Wentworth, and another 1/2 day. And the only actors around for that scene was my then boyfriend and Wentworth, and eventhough Chris was the one who didn’t know any of the crew, and he was feeling out of place and a little overwhelmed, it was Wentworth who made sure he was okay, and talked to talk to him, and in fact, maybe because there weren’t other actors around, Wentworth was rather open and did not have a problem being chatty with Chris.

If you remember the scene, there were no extras around, and chris said the crew wasn’t so big either, so it was a rather cosy intimate setting. He said that Wentworth and him would chat, and even eat their meals together because Wentworth knew Chris didn’t know anyone there, and he tried his best to make sure chris was comfortable ——– that hardly sounds like a snob.

I know it might not look it, cos “Chuck” was all dirty and uneducated in the show, but chris in real life is nothing like that, and i think that is why they got along. On the last day, chris was only needed for 1/2 day work, and after that, Wentworth was free, and Wentworth actually bought my friend dinner! I guess he was sick of set-food, and took chris out to dinner, and paid for it, and everything. Again, this doesn’t sound like someone snobbish.

One time, a PA needed to go buy something - some wire or gadget or something for another Wentworth scene, and this was during their downtime, and Wentworth said to the PA that he’ll drive and get it. The PA herself looked shocked because no actor would be driving around buying props!!!!!!! And Chris went with Wentworth, cos they knew what and where to get that stuff. Don’t ask me what it was, it was some ‘guy’ thing and the PA being a girl had no idea. So, again, Wentworth is very giving. And by the way, at the mall, he bought himself and Chris a starbucks drink - i am sure you saw that coming a mile away, didn’t you? He he he. Really, this man is not proud or snobbish in the least, he’s very selfless and giving.

However, Amber is right in one thing, because Wentworth was so popular back then, when chris and him were filming season 2, and girls would come up to Wentworth in front of Chris, later the two of them would talk about this. Wentworth doesn’t understand the intensity and yes “craziness” of some of his fans. He can’t understand girls buying posters of him, or wanting to look and gawk at him, or dream and talk about him constantly, he feels it is all very strange. He doesn’t have any experience with women - (yes, a surprise, right), and according to Chris, he finds it overwhelming just talking to girls, period. So, when strangers come up to him drooling and excited and wanting to touch him and talk to him, he is even more overwhelmed than stars out there. But being overwhelmed aside, i think he doesn’t grasp why fans are so taken and act so intensely. He does find it crazy that people would waste time discussing him, and posting pictures, and going ga-ga over him, he thinks that fans like that should find better things to do in life, i think he did say to chris that they are probably unfulfilled in life, and see this as a distraction, but he seemed worried that it was not normal behavior, to him. Even then, he was rather concerned about these type of fans. So i wouldn’t say, oh he thinks of you as crazy, and that’s it. I think he is genuinely concerned about your “craziness”.

And i have met him, if you’re wondering. Chris and i are now just friends, no longer dating, and in january we were lunching and Wentworth walked in. He immediately walked over and patted Chris on the back, and they both started ‘bickering’ about how each didn’t keep in touch! (They exchanged contacts back then, but Chris i know has been busy). Wentworth is good looking, tall, athletic, and i can see, as a woman myself, why you fans are so taken. I am not the “fannish” type, so i can’t really relate to your needs to read everything about him or post about him all the time or whatever, but he is an attractive man, and very sweet, he was alone, and spoke to me, and i was shocked when chris introduced me, Wentworth said “Oh the GF!”-amazing how he remembered(so no snob), but i had to correct him that we weren’t dating anymore.

Oh, and don’t tell Wentworth, but i love reading celebrity gossip. I don’t do the fannish things, or join fansites, or go find or stalk celebs and want to touch them or anything…….but i am here on justjared reading the goss everday, he he he. Chris always makes fun of me, and thinks i am weird too. But i just love knowing about hollywood goss - i’m a big busybody basically. That’s how i stumbled onto this thread by the way. Usually i don’t post unless an issue is burning me up inside.

But i am a hollywood goss fan, i buy all those mags too - US Weekly, and People and others. So, just wanted to say, you can’t please them all, can you? If reading or posting about Wentworth makes your day, then do it. But don’t overdo it, i suppose. I am here for all of 10 minutes a day, and i read my goss mags only on the train. I don’t know if Wentworth fans who make it a point of talking/discussing/fantasizing about him fo so many hours a day have unfulfilled lives, or if you are spending too much time and focus on him, and if you are always thinking or reading or posting about him, then i think you need to examine that, because that is not normal. I also think your idol Wentworth doesn’t think it’s normal either.

He does check out women all the time, and he has talked about women to Chris, he didn’t give any specifics so i have nothing to give you. Chris asked him if he had a GF, this was like the second day. He said, no, never. For a minute, Chris thought he was gay, but then he noticed Wentworth looking at women’s bottoms and breasts all the time - not in a leering way, but the way men do. And sorry to burst your bubble, but he also makes sexual jokes and has sexual entendres all the time. My Chris is a dirty minded man and they did enchange some lewd jokes! I’m assuming ‘Chris’ lives in Dallas, as that’s where S2 was filmed, but in January of this year Went was no longer in Dallas, as PB wasn’t filming because of the writers’ strike. He was back in LA. So how would Went be walking into a restaurant where Chris and ‘BS’ were having lunch?

Us Went fans might be crazy as hell, but we know where our boy is in the world most of the time, and can use that info to poke holes in stories like this one.

And your story about Went not having “any experience with women” and “finding it overwhelming just talking to girls, period” doesn’t ring true. HE HAS TWO SISTERS! Re: Big Scoop’s story about WM driving to buy something while shooting.

As far as I know, actors are not allowed to drive while on set for insurance purposes. They have to be driven to and from the set. It doesn’t matter if they have a 5-hour downtime so long as they’re on the set and not just simply hanging out on their days off. That is why Teamster peeps (drivers) have the nicest jobs on a tv or movie prod because all they do is wait.

Forgive me, but I’ve only read a couple of your posts. But if what you’re saying is true, then Wentworth is right. I’ll be the first to admit that. There is a void in my life. I’m completely aware of it and I know exactly where it is. But rest assured, I’m not one of these fainting, screaming, lose all composure fans. I think he’s beautiful and I think he’s brilliant and I’d love to just chat with him some day. I don’t want an autograph but a hand shake and a pic would be nice. Also be informed that I’m aware that he could never fill the my void. I also feel that if his comments were said in a condescending, annoyed tone, which cannot really be recognized in a post, then he is arrogant and an ass.

Wentworth is 35 years old and he has found his niche, if you will. He feels that he’s found his purpose in life. Not many people can say that. And until we do, we always find something else to attempt to fill that void. If he’s intelligent enough to supposedly say what your ex-boyfriend says he said, then he should be intelligent enough to know that as well. He should be intelligent enough to know why his fans do some of the things they do. Not understanding is one thing but not knowing why, is another.

I look at pics of him because I think he’s the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen and I get a sense of peace from some of them. It only last for a moment, but hell, every little bit helps. I live a hectic life and I enjoy it. There are lots of other ways that I accomplish this also. He’s not my only outlet.

If what you say is true, Wentworth needs to understand that he hasn’t always had his $h!t together and not many people do. There are many people with hopes and dreams who aren’t even close to being where they’re supposed to be in life. If he doesn’t want fans, cool. If he doesn’t need fans, which I seriously doubt, that’s okay, too. If he doesn’t want a faithful group of people to follow his work, enjoy his work, and pay to see it or take time to watch it on TV, well then that’s just dumb on his part.

I’m going to continue to watch his show, gawk at his pictures, and follow his work because I am a fan, but I’m not one of these fans that I think to whom he’s referring. But if he is supposedly talking about someone like me, then cool, I’ll be that. See, I’m the type of person who doesn’t give a damn about what others think of me, save those closest to me. I don’t know Wentworth. I don’t know much ABOUT him at all. I do enjoy his show and his work. I think he’s an awesome actor. Thanx for the link! OMG, Went’s voice is sooooo sexy! I loved him talking about what he would name his son, “John, Bill or Peter, something normal like that.” This reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. His name was “Ralph”, but he said when he has a son, he would name him “Paul” or something like that because it was a normal boy’s name. Hee, hee, Went thinks the same way! I imagine it was hard for him being a kid with the name “Wentworth”!

Went doesn’t sound like a gay man to me. Most gay men don’t talk about having kids, (at least the ones I know), let alone what to name them. This is not the first time Wentworth has mentioned naming his son. He also said it on the “Jimmy Kimmel Show” a couple years ago.

Went’s movie idols, Robert DeNiro, Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington do live somewhat private lives out of the limelight and are rarely, if not at all, in the gossip rags. I imagine they are able to enjoy their private lives moreso than other celebrities who thrive on the attention of the papparazzi and fans. This is what Went would like as well. I can see why he is so adamant about this. But what he doesn’t realize is that they are not sex symbols like him. Maybe Denzel is a little, but the other two, not so much. I don’t care if the “I’m not gay” quote was taken from a magazine interview. I saw and heard it quoted on the E Channel and a couple other shows. If there was no truth to the quote, it would not have been quoted on legitimate TV programs. They clearly stated that Wentworth Miller announced “I’m not gay……….(and so on).

There’s no reason not to believe he said this.

As talk intensifies, people are now saying the Prison Break actor may be ready
to come out of the closet as his relationship with Luke - the openly gay
ex-boyfriend of Grey’s Anatomy actor T.R Knight - gets more intimate.

The pair did nothing to counter the rumours after they were seeing enjoying an
all-day outing that stretched long itno the night.

Looking relaxed and happy, Wentworth, 35, and a 27 year-old Luke strolled around
a footpath in LA recently, wearing matching khaki trousers and thongs, their
strides perfectly in sync. The cosy-looking couple laughed and chatted as they
walked, obviously enjoying each other’s company.

Later that evening, they were spotted in a car, with Luke in teh driver’s seat
and Wentworth on the passenger side casually crossing his legs and playing with
his mobile phone.

Insiders say the sightings have led to a new outbreak of rumours about
Wentworth’s sexuality. “Talk that he is secretly gay has exploded,” says an
insider. “Everybody is talking about his sudden willingness to be seen in
public with Luke and what it means.”

And the source adds that the actor may be on his way to coming out. “Wentworth
sure looks like he’s taking baby steps out of the closet,” says the insider.
“He’s been seen around town with his ‘close friend’ Luke for weeks now. The
rumour mill has gone into overdrive!”

Wentworth has previously acknowledged the persisten rumours, but has denied the
stories are true. “No, I’m not gay,” he said in January this year. “I know these
rumours are out there… I’m cool with the fact that they exist. I mean, this is
about fantasy. Certain people are going to have certain fantasies.”

But while Wentworth has previously denied the rumours, insiders now say that was
purely because he was still only a small-time star and not secure enough of his
celebrity status to come out.

“Look, who can blame the guy,” says the insider. “He was an up-and-comer in the
business when he got lucky with Prison Break.”

The insider adds that Wentworth has no shame about his gay status, but was
concealing it for the sake of his show’s ratings in conservative middle America.

“Wentworth is not ashamed or embarassed at all about being gay,” says the
insider. “He’s kept quiet and denied being gay for the show’s sake so far. But
that was before he fell in love with Luke.”

Now, the insider says, the actor is making it clear he’s ready to be more open
about his relationship, in party because of Luke’s reassurance.

“He’s encouraging him to just come out and get it over with,” says the isider.
“Luke is out and proud, and he would want people to know the truth. Showing up
with Luke in publlic and letting their picture be taken together must mean
Wentworth is tired of pretending to be straight when he’s in a serious
relationship.”

However, insiders also say he’s likely to still be torn between coming out about
his sexuality and pretending to be straight for the sake of his career.

“He’s probably being pulled in two directions,” explains the insider. “There’s
no doubt the TV network is desperate to keep his sexuality under wraps. His
boyfriend and all of his friends who know the truth about him are urging him to
be honest. They say even though there’s a lot to lose, he’ll feel better about
himself in the long run.”

A lot of people thought that it was true but it was absolutely false. Now nobody think that.

The damaging fact for Went is that he ignores rumors! He didn’t adress the Luke photos, what does he expect: that the rumors will disappear?
What is a simple rumor grows and grows and becomes an accepted fact by the majority of people. The only intelligent way to deal with a rumor is to explain the whys and whats.
The photos confirm what Perez Hilton said two months BEFORE: how do you explain it?
They are “just friends”? How can you believe that Luke wants to be “just friends” with a gorgeous man like Went?
The reality is that they dated for over six months. Perez knew it, he’s no psychic.
I know it’s hard to swallow for all the fans. We imagined Went as our perfect dream boyfriend: ideals don’t exist, he’s just HUMAN.

The actors in my category finished the auditions and I was the last candidate for Michael’s role. That was a week before the shooting was supposed to begin. I got the script on Friday and the audition was on Monday, so I didn’t even have enough time to get nervous. All I knew was that I really understood Michael’s character. Even before the audition I could see that Prison Break was a show that crosses the lines between reality and fiction, and that’s the Michael I showed onstage. The day after they called to tell me I got the job and we started filming the Pilot a week after that. It all happened really fast and I think it was best for me”.

BIG SCOOP’S story seems false to me for this reason: It takes only eight days to shoot an entire episode of Prison Break…there would not be time to spend two and a half days shooting only one scene. The scene she mentioned was not that big in the episode.

Re pictures of Went and Luke:

How does a picture of them together “prove” anything? There are also pictures of Went with Amie Bice (on at least two separate days) and with Mariana Klaveno (on at least three separate occasions). Those pictures prove nothing, either.

Rather than endlessly speculating about an issue that CANNOT be proven one way or another, why not focus instead on what a charismatic, talented, and beautiful man Went is?

I hope none of you have ever been or will ever be subjected to the kind of personal scrutiny that he faces. It seems to me that if he had some huge secret to hide, he would not be as relaxed and happy-go-lucky as he always seems to be. He strikes me as a person who is very comfortable in his own skin. Actually he never stated that he wasn’t gay. it was printed that he said this…there is no video or audio clip where he says he is not gay. So it is possible that the this fabricated claim he has said he’s not gay was not a direct quote from his mouth. merely something that his PR included in a printed interview.
