Actually he never stated that he wasn’t gay. it was printed that he said this…there is no video or audio clip where he says he is not gay. So it is possible that the this fabricated claim he has said he’s not gay was not a direct quote from his mouth. merely something that his PR included in a printed interview.

There is having a “big crush on Angie Harmon” and there is “being obsessed with Angie Harmon to have to post about every aspect of her life whether known or not in very certain terms as he has read off the internet or in magazines.”

There are fans who do obsess as a diversion and there are “superfans” who obsess to the point of feeling ownership of a complete stranger based on what they project onto their object of lust/affection/obsession/”love”.

Some fans are crazy. Scary crazy. Some fans are crazy in odd and/or zany ways of expressing their gratitude for the diversion celebrities’ work and/or public persona [interests, what-have-you] whether done in humorous or semi-serious, cheeky manner. Although, once the obsession gets out of that perspective of gratitude or like [which happens from time to time at various times during the “relationship” as viewer], it can get tedious for that duration of time.
I don’t doubt Miller’s gratitude for a fandom in general, but when it goes to extremes [esp in these “well, how do UYOU know him and what he’s like” debates], it can get ridiculous.

I will never understand how some posters, genuine or not, who can say? who will try to come in to make a point regarding a celebrity with first- or second-hand “knowledge” and not expect to be called on it, fairly or not. Anyone can read or post mere SPECULATION of something or someone and have it taken as FACT until it becomes part of an “unofficially official”/”officially unofficial” online bio.

Also, I don’t know if he “is or isn’t”, nor do I care, but are uyou all who are using the quotes regarding wanting kids or naming kids seriously saying that there is no way a gay man would want to be a father some day? That there are no gay fathers out there who love their children, either biological or adopted? REally? Wow, I learn something new every day… <sarcasm

At the time, it was ANNOUNCERS announcing Miller said this, not MILLER directly saying it to the camera [unless I happened to have missed or ignored that particular interview, which is entirely possible]. As for the Australian radio interview, he skipped over that question re the “hand holding at a mobile phone party” and did a nice little spin on it. One can play the OTHER devil’s advocate for “isn’t” of that the still and ever spinning coin with that answer. Well played, Mr Miller. Well played.

Wow, I admit that my post is long and boring, but I was answering other posts. I didn’t make the original “little and big girls with captured hearts” comment, that is why that phrase is in quotation marks. It was said by post #255.

I also didn’t say his fans were schizoids, but that across ANY fanbase, not just his, there is a wide range of personalities and mindsets and each of these may vary a bit on any given day depending on mood and hormone levels and how bad a day they might be having. Some might stay within the same range and still be freakin’ scary crazy. Not ALL fans. Some fans. Some fans might be schizoids, but not ALL his fans. Just like any other fanbase, be it tv show, celebrity, book series, sports team, etc.

I don’t know which category you fit into either, but I’m going to guess it falls along just as serious a poster as you take me to be, for now, as I am going to assume your response is in reference to those who want Miller to fit into the role they see him in as opposed to those who don’t care or how he may or may not himself, which may be just as an adult man who likes his privacy, constant questioning of his honesty, integrity and/or sexuality be damned.

I don’t know what he wants. He can phrase anything he wants any way he likes, for his fans, the studio or himself. It doesn’t matter to me.

Am I suddenly going to hate and condemn someone I don’t know because I don’t know enough about him personally and have to rely on the internet and what I may or may not believe on any given day? No. Do most people online at various sites/boards? I don’t know, I go to too few to make any accurate gueses. Do some on occassion? Yes, because it seems like it would fall some under human nature.

Does it amuse me? No. But I do agree I need to lighten up, or better yet skim over a good portion of posts that seem to deliberately go out on a limb to be as offensive as possible. [and no, I’m not just talking about those who think “is he/isn’t he” = bashing/hating]

To those who pointed out that in the ET Canada interview he looked down when he said that he wanted a wife and kids, if you look closely at the interview he is constantly looking up and down while he is talking throughout the interview, even before he says that. so I don’t think that we can conclude anything from that.

As has been stated before he didn’t have to say that. He could have said that he wanted to meet someone special or that he wanted to have a family, he didn’t have to use the word wife, but he did.
