I agree completely. Why all the negativity? I personally think Rachel looks better than Scarlett does! And I don’t think they’re anything like Spencer and Heidi. I don’t like Rachel’s dress. But I applaud her for going out there for a fashion event and wearing something different and even if it isn’t to everyone’s taste, it is a high fashion dress.
I think she shouldn’t have had her hair quite so wavy and shouldn’t have worn as much make-up but everyone has off days and no-one can look as beautiful as Rachel does every day. The fact that people are calling her ugly is ridiculous, she is a gorgeous young woman, hence why she was named the 30th sexiest woman in the world in FHM.
She can’t please everyone and if she’s happy in the dress and likes it then she should be allowed to wear whatever she damn well wants to be quite honest.

I think the longer Hayden associates himself with her, the faster his career will go down the toilet (if it isn’t there already.) Most of the ppl keep trying to justify the costume by saying that the costume is meant to be ‘out there’. Well let me tell you, I’m a comic fan and design costumes. Just because it’s a ‘fantasy-related’ costume doesn’t give it the excuse to look ugly or stupid. Come on, I’ve seen ComicCon amateur fans create brilliant & beautiful fantasy costumes better than this.
I think the real reason why this dress is so wrong for Rachel it doesn’t compliment her figure at all. Sometimes, you gotta accept the hard truth. For Rachel, she’s gotta accept the type of body the good lord gave her and work her clothing choices *around* it. I’m short too, so I can relate to her woes. Anywho, you shouldn’t try to wear a dress that’s meant to be on someone taller. I think Rachel’s bod is fantastic, but this dress does not suit her at all.
And don’t get me started on those bangs. I had bangs like those in high school and kick myself for not knowing better. It’s like I’m watching reruns of Punky Prewster all over again. Pair that hairstyle to a costume like that and, well, never mind. I won’t go there. >_>
And Hayden, beautiful lovely Hayden… Next time, pick a color that matches your babe. At least a darker/cooler tone. I love the tan but, as many hear have indicated, you guys look so mismatched. That ain’t saying you two should dress up like jack n’ jill, but a cooler-toned color would’ve been nice. At least, you wouldn’t be leaving Rachel alone and out to dry by herself.
One last thing, I’m a huge hayden fan and it does break my heart that he’s got himself a babe, especially when we’re the same age. :-( But oh well. Hayden is a romantic and does deserve happiness. I actually think it’s serious since both of them seem like the committing type of people. I don’t blame them for finally ‘coming out’ since pretending they weren’t together gets pretty old and stupid. Not to mention, when you’re in love, you should be open with each other. I actually think it’s cute they attended this event. They are *so* a part of my generation. ^_^
