Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr: Supermarket Sweeps!
Picture perfect couple Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr stock up on groceries at at the Whole Foods supermarket in Hollywood on Sunday.
Tomorrow, Miranda is expected to give away kisses at the Victoria’s Secret store at The Grove at Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles (6301 West 3rd Street). She will help launch Heavenly Kiss, the newest addition to the Dream Angeles fragrance collection, which features notes of vanilla accord wrapped in fruits and vibrantly fresh florals. Miranda will be giving away personalized autograph kisses from her very own Heavenly Kiss Kissing Booth.

She was just interviewed talking about how “green” she is as well, parroting most of what he’s said in interviews. So why are they using paper bags and not the environmentally-friendly reusable (green) bags you can get at Whole Foods?

I am not only in this fandom, I’m in a few and trust me when I say that WHOLE FOODS is a PAP HANG OUT, therefore Orlando would KNOW that and chose to go their regardless, there was only some of Jared Leto a week ago, Ive seen loads of stars there, its an easy way to be seen, thats all it is, and we all know how popular celebs shopping for groceries are to the paps- VERY sad but also VERY true, Iam surprised at some ppls niavety!. It looks like they were on their way back from the airport and might have been followed OR just ran into the paps that frequent that place. Orlando has been spotted there before so he may shop there normally.
That isn’t his car and he is wearing his buddhist necklace he wears when traveling so they must have just arrived.
I too find it noteworthy that it looks like she was paying for her own food. I hope that is a good sign she was staying someplace else.

I live near Whole foods and yes it is a pap hot spot. I have been told plenty of times by Paps themsleves when chatting to them that some are set- up’s it is the name of the fame game, and I agree it doesn’t hurt anyone, it is nessecary in todays Hollywood, where Celebrity is king.
I live in the UK and get my groceries delivered after ordering it online- I am sure you can do this in the US yes? If so why dont celebs do that if they “WANT THEIR PRIVACY?”

If Whole Foods is a pap hang-out, then getting photographed is a definite possibility. The public love seeing celebrities out & about doing ‘normal things’ so it would make sense that paps would hang out there. My problem with these two is that if they have been seeing each other for more than a couple of months, how is it that they managed to keep it so secret before? There was hardly anything before February. Lately, they can barely go a couple of days without being snapped. I just feel this whole thing reeks of desperation on his part..
On a side note, I’m kind of surprised that he is even capable of getting groceries right after the flight. Shouldn’t he be all jet-lagged & unable to function?
He looks great? My god he looks AWFUL. I have never seen him so miserable as the last 6 months, I wish he would snap out of whatever it is thats making him this miserable, I mean I can understand it could be because he has been unemployed for so long (apart from NYILU) because that has happened to me and you become very depressed, again I find it VERY interesting anf telling that he hasnt been home since september last year (the BAFTAS didnt count he didnt stay 2 minutes) Orlando used to always come back to the UK when ever he could, since the play he has stayed away and I would love to know why.
I guess that they didnot go to New York for the Met gala. Orlando was with kate for four years and I don’t recall seeing so much pap pictures of him, compared to being with Miranda. I truly hope that TRC did not fall thru and all we will get this year is his showance.

There was talk at the time that they came out with two different hotel bills. Was there every clarification that it was indeed room bills they had?
Knowing that would definetly put a piece of the puzzle together as to if they are prolonging this for the press only.

So if it’s the store on their way to wherever they’re going - they shouldn’t stop there? What if they want to buy their own frickin’ groceries? If they would have sent “someone” to Whole Foods then they would be acting like big-shot celebrities and would have not given so many so much to “interpret”. @46 it’s not truth. She did a movie Beyond the Sea with Kevin Spacey a very good movie, actually worth watching. She also did some other indie movie with Richard Gere and then Superman.
I wouldn’t say she was hardly working because playing in indie movies doesn’t mean playing in worse movies. Actually usually small movies are much better because they focuse on the actors’ craft not the looks.

he has aged badly which I think he is mentally,physically and spiritually unhappy. She isn’t helping and she is one of his many problems I think he got caught up with this girl and family and the bad thing about it he could have easily said no he could have done the same with other desicions in his life but no. I pray he can see the light soon and he grows up soon Idon’t believe this is a stable and or loving relationship. Just because Kate is given ‘free’ clothes to wear doesn’t make her classy! She’s milking the fame she gained from her 4 year relationship with OB. What a fascinating arguement. Murder, rape, theft, all these things happen all the time all around the world too. The thing that all of these things have in common is someone gets hurt. Now while cheating doesn’t earn you a jail sentence, it hurts just as much as some of these other crimes. I would rather have something stolen from me than to have some I loved and trusted cheat on me with someone else. It is such a betrayal of yourself, and the relationship that you built together. It totally makes me dislike and compelely lose respect for someone who would do that to another. Whether or not they are the partner in the relationship. or the one tempting them to cheat. It really makes me question both of the people inlvolved integrity. It seems Orlando has little respect for anyone, except what he wants, and so does Miranda. Does he have to always fly first class? Does he have to have the most expensive watches, clothes, motorcycles, playthings, etc. Cut down just a little bit on the celebrity spending and lifestyle and he could make a huge difference in many others lives.

If I want to discuss questionable behavior on his part without being kicked off the site, I come here. Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether they think he is a knight in shining armor or a complete bafoon. Interesting side note, this past Saturday on the Today show, they were discussing Tom Cruise & his interview with Oprah. They said that Tom was trying to alter public perception of him because currently, people (especially women) find him creepy. There was a psychologist & she mentioned that fans need to feel a connection to want to go see him in a movie. This could apply to anyone obviously & I couldn’t help but think that may be part of Orlando’s problem at the moment. Fans are begining to lose their connection with him.

look at that face. We always respond to beauty, and in this picture he is truly beautiful. Unfortunately beauty on the outside, does not automatically mean beauty on the inside. Compare his face today with that image of him almost ten years ago. The life he is living is showing up on his face. Maybe ten years back, he had the sweetness and innocence and kindness that went with his face back then. He has proved he doesn’t have it anymore. A few questions: How do you know they (Miranda/Jay) weren’t in the process (or on the verge) of breaking up at the same time she met Orlando? People fall in and out of love all the time - it happens. Or sometimes one party cares more and is a lot more invested emotionally than the other party happens to be. (I know - I’ve been in a few similar situations myself and it can definitely go either way.) What makes you think she was ’so in love’ with Jay? Did she actually express those sentiments herself or was it just ‘assumed’ she was ‘in love’ with the guy because he had strong feelings for her? Not only did she declare Jay “the love of my life” in September, less than three weeks before she dumped him. She made a very romantic music video with him that summer. The honorable thing to do is if another man creates feelings in you, is to stay away from them. I know some don’t count committment or marriage as something to honor. But I believe most do believe that if you make a committment you shouldn’t allow someone else to intrude on it. I have a boyfriend and sure I see guys that are cute, and are funny that I would love to get to know, many times we do become friends, but if I get other ideas, I walk away because the relationship I have built with my boyfriend is the more important one, and I would not jeopardize it, just because someone else attracts me. People go through life being attracted to others, but it is the promises you make and the love you have for one another and the history and life that you build together that keeps you honest, or at least it does for those who have some integrity.

No one here has been “dumped” by either Miranda or Orlando - as far as anyone here knows. You’re making some of the same arguments for your case that were made months ago by others who think as you do: If you don’t like Orlando and/or Miranda, you’re jealous or have taken their actions personally. I really think you’re missing the points people are making here, Gumbo, and those points have NOTHING to do with people acting as though Orlando or Miranda were committed to any of them PERSONALLY. I do think some of Orlando’s past and present fans feel hurt and disappointed in him, and some perhaps feel betrayed by his dishonesty with PR and his fake public image, but that doesn’t mean they’re all coming from the standpoint of “He betrayed me personally and should have been mine, all mine!”
Is this clear to you or not? People can express the thoughts expressed in this thread without having deep personal involvement with the actor and model in question. They’re questioning what the media and KerrBloom are presenting, as well they should! And some are deeply disappointed in Bloom’s actions, choices, behavior and personal conduct. I think you know there is a difference between those that express their opinion - be it positive or negative - and posts that drip hatred. The most fascinating are the conclusions drawn by the simple things that might appear in a picture.

I do not know what their history is, I do not know what their present is and I don’t now what their future will be. All I know is that they look pretty good after a long flight. Well, if this girl is really that fickle and opportunistic, I doubt her current ‘feelings’ for Orlando will last long either - at least no longer than it takes for another ’sweet-talkin’ guy to come along who she thinks has more to offer her. And someone on Olove spotted that MK’s MySpace was put up two weeks ago but her relationship status is “single”. One would think that is the first thing they make sure is set. :)
If she is so private why would she put up pics of him and the dog on myspace or even the internet it self. This relationship is like the onw with Johnny and Kate or Gwenyth Paltrow and Brad pitt. Those relation ships were so exposed and open the the media and press that we almost knew too much about the relationship, it was like we knew where they are going what they are going to be doing when they get their what they will be waering who they would be with ect. In this case unlike Brad’s and Johnny’s casess the one who is telling and alerting the media is Kerr and now her even her own family is in on it. To me they are a shady group of poeple who just love noting but attention.

I noticed somthing about her face, not only does she look like a cabbage patch doll, but she looks kind of like a crow. Her tiny beady eyes her long beak like nose her strangley awkward shaped head and her grin makes her look like a troll doll.
I also wanted to say I don’t think he is at peace with himself. I don’t think this buhda stuff is working I thought that was spreading peace and love to the world. There’s a link at OLOVE. Check the thread with the OZ motorbike pix. It looks like the people who run the dirt bike course sold the pictures as they appear to be private pictures they took. Agencies don’t go around stealing pix from blogs and selling them. So it seems that these people who John Kerr rides with a lot and who even point out that OB was nervous about paps and relaxed when they weren’t around then went and sold these personal pix to an agency to make some money off of him and to promote their business. He knew they were taking the pix, there are posed ones at a table where he’s looking right at the camera.

He’s fully immersed and happy with being a celebrity. He may play it off like it’s a hassel but his actions speak otherwise.
I missed that bit. I have more of a problem with them selling the pictures to FLYNET after claiming he was upset with the notion of paparazzi rather than simply posting them to boost their business. Added to that the gossip they felt the need to add about exactly who brought him there. But of course he’s part of it, I never said he wasn’t. Although I do believe she pushes the envelope a lot of the time.

It seems unlikely that a model would financially downgrade from $3.5 million a year to a 6 figure salary (from DJs) spread out over the course of a five year deal. Even if DJs pays her $800,000 for the five year deal, that’s a downgrade from making several million a year.
So, I think the $3.5 million refers to her overall net worth, not her VS salary from last year, or even her yearly salary.
The article claims it’s income for last year, but I say that’s BS because it doesn’t add up. It talks about the DJ contract but that wasn’t negotiated until over the holidays and announced this year, and re-signing with VS is also very recent. The #s came from agents who probably gave the total value of the contracts rather than splitting up over the length of the contract to inflate her worth.
Question: If The Red Circle is indeed filmed & Orlando stars in it, who will go see it? I mean what demographic will it appeal to? I’m just curious because from what I’ve read, it seems like a movie that would be geared to the male population. Of course the die-hard female Orlando fans will go, but I wonder how many will be left by the time the movie comes out.

Since they started dating in Jan ‘03, now five years later, Kate works sporadically and gets her press in the tabs & in fashion mags. She holds on with Kevin Spacey’s help - as a so called ‘mentor.’ When he works, she works. He even admitted it not long ago in an interview. They have an agreement.
Orlando doesn’t have a ‘mentor’ who insists on having it written into his contract that hiring him = hiring Orlando. I think more was expected of Orlando due to all the hype and publicity surrounding him after the LOTR films and Pirates films came out. His people should have tried to put a lid on some of that hype and excess publicity and should have kept Orlando in smaller films rather than epics and blockbusters like “Troy” & “Kingdom of Heaven.” They also should have kept him in supporting roles, not leading ones. He put himself in front of the movie going public with hype, publicity, pomp & circumstance, without enough talent or skill to back up the promises and hype. Just my opinion. I’m not a director or casting agent.

#315 here again. Just wanted to add that Kate looks so much better and less foolish and pathetic with James - a man who seems to respect her, like her and seems to enjoy her company. He can walk alongside her,escort her to events and actually come up with a relaxed genuine smile for the cameras. Yes, I do think some PR is a part of their relationship, but I also think they genuinely click together as a couple, and Kate has looked better in so many ways as a result. Yes, she loses wait periodically, especially when her films come out & she has premiers and interviews to give, but basically she seems happier in general with James than she did with Orlando. Orlando treated her like he was doing her a favor by being with her, IMO. I’m happy for her, personally speaking, and I’m glad she’s found someone who seems to really dig her. :)

HI #321. #315 here. Don’t worry, I won’t “slam” you. :) Besides, contractual agreements between actors are part of their professional lives, not their personal lives. And if those actors choose to reveal such agreements in their interviews, that’s their choice. And yes, Orlando needs to work on developing his craft. Totally agree. Wish he’d do a British tv show and become a series regular on it. Especially a comedy.

I found this on her thread, and found it interesting. Who knows if the guy is for real, but I have always said that her parents have much to answer for. I have looked at her galleries and there are many of a very young Miranda, obviously under age in sexually provocative poses, many without clothes on. What kind of parent lets their underage daughter pose in such shots. Phtographes that will appeal to those who abuse children. I think this guy might be onto something
A comedy would be splendid and a regular on a series would be a hoot. I’m not much into British comedy but I believe that I could adapt and quite easily.

If he’s allowed to grow creatively and is willing to set aside his possible celebrity/movie star ego, and if his people are willing to let him, then a regular British tv show (with Orlando in a comedic or geek type role) would really help him to break the teen hearthrob image and get regular work! Many other feature film actors have done tv work periodically, but I sometimes wonder if some stars worry about their image. You know, the “I don’t do television, I only do movies” type of image. If you visit imdb and check out the credits of the other LOTR actors, you’ll find some of them have done television work prior to and after those films. It’s nothing to be ashamed of or to scoff at. It keeps an actor working regularly and keeps his or her exposure constant. How can you forget an actor when you see him or her once a week on one of your favorite shows?

That is an interesting comment from the photographer, and many others have mentioned the inappropriateness of her doing photoshoots in bikinis or less at a young age. Unfortunately there are many examples of parents allowing their children to be exploited for fame, etc. But I would not make excuses for Miranda and her behavior because of how her parents managed her career in the past. She’s 25 years old and is responsible for her own words and actions. She has been in the modeling business long enough to have observed and learned how to treat colleagues, be a professional representative of the companies paying you and be gracious about the advantages she has compared to those who are “not living the life”. A reputation of being spoiled, narcissistic, and manipulative will not help her career in the long run, and unfortunately she’s also hurting Orlando’s image in the process as well.
I think he was real too. He has said he posted about other models before so I checked the latest Bar and Giselle threads and he has posted about them as well. (his post on them were positive)

I agree that even though her parents totally were more concerned about money and fame when they started exploiting her, there comes a time when one has to say, “I am an adult and responsible for my own actions”. You can’t blame mommy and daddy forever. If she wanted to be a different person she would be. She has chosen to continue on the path they set her on, and now she will have to take the consquences. She could have made better choices/ She could have conducted herself in a more mature, kind and less manipulative manner and she may have gotten ahead some without using someone so blatently is is laughable. I don’t know where is Orlando is in this. Sometimes I think he is as bad as her, sometimes I think he is very gullible and doesn’t have much in the way of critical thinking skills. That is why his carreer is doing badly I think. He does what his management people tell him. He is sucked into the celebrity way of life because it is the cool way to live, he backs causes like Global Green, because it is the chic cause du jour. Not that I don’t think it isn’t important. I wonder how many of his decisions are based on image instead of substance .
It is interesting to watch people who others think have it made, fame, money, attention, power, and yet it doesn’t seem like either one of them could find their way out of a paper bag with a flashlight.

That’s really sad about Joan22/toosmartforyou. She should get some counseling. I remember some of the reasons you posted as the reasons and beliefs of some people who hated or strongly disliked Kate. The thing is, some of those reasons for dislike might apply to Miranda as well, but we really don’t know. We don’t really know if Kate was or is anorexic, or if she was or is addicted to substances. Ugliness is like beauty; it’s in the eye of the beholder. What I don’t get is how anyone can resent pap set ups, courting the media and acting coy, using Orlando’s fame for career advancement, dropping his name in interviews, etc, against Kate but not see the same thing going on with Miranda and think it’s okay? What’s with the double standard?
And if I didn’t like it when Kate did it (and I didn’t), and if I felt Orlando had his share of personal responsibility for some things back then as well, why would I say this time around, it’s cool? I don’t care how pretty Orlando’s girlfriends are. If their faces and names get shoved in my face every time I do a search for him on Google or JJ, when I’m trying to follow news on *him* and *his* career, I’m going to see things a certain way. Miranda’s name is now linked to Orlando’s the same way Kate’s was. And guess what? If you want news on Orlando, you’ll have to wade through news on Miranda. Don’t like it? Tough cookies. I resent that unspoken message and pr attitude.
And Orlando has allowed this. He’s a willing participant, as far as I’m concerned. No more excuses. He’s a grown man and responsible for his own choices in life. He should have learned some things from his relationship with Kate. It’s unfortunate that he’s made some very unwise choices over the years.
I can see the anorexic and dead eyes comments being valid, but some of these do seem like unnecessary reasons to not like her. CPK on the other hand is a real piece of work. I don’t dislike her because of him (he’s garbage), I dislike her because she doesn’t know when to quit. I’m so tired of seeing her splashed all over the media for things that are not newsworthy.
Far more famous celebs do things like attend sporting events, spend time with their bf/gf and their families, or get endorsements, and you don’t see their faces all over websites and newspapers in far off places like Germany or Bumblefuck, India over that crap EACH AND EVERY TIME. And then she has them hype it like its headline news or something. I could be wrong, but I think starving people in third-world countries could give a fucck less who this dolt is banging.
She needs to just hold on to her $3.5 milion instead of wasting it on bad pr. I really feel like she’s buying into her own hype because looking at her afterparty pics, she can’t draw an A- List crowd and I doubt having him there would have made a difference either.

Well, June is around the corner. The actors and producers have stopped talking as of today or yesterday, I think, and we could be looking at a strike this summer if they don’t resolve their issues. If Orlando’s not listed in Variety or Hollywood Reporter as being in “The Red Circle”, and if we don’t see an official start date given for the film in one or both of those trade papers, then I would say things are not looking good. If there’s a strike, I wonder if Johnny will even be able to make the film. I don’t see how working on “The Red Circle” has been a ’scheduling conflict’ for Orlando as he’s been flying around to Australia, London, New York and L.A. with Miranda. If he has the time and energy for all of that, why not have the time for his role in AE? I don’t think his part in “NY: I Love You” was the reason AE didn’t work out. He hasn’t been training for the martial arts - I don’t believe that for one second. He’s been traveling around the world getting his publicity and pap shots with his girlPRfriend Miranda. If that’s where his priorities lie, I can see where there may be a bit of a problem. :(
I do hope he will do a movie this year, but if he doesn’t i’m sure he will get his life together one day. It looks like he’s confused and messed up. His family needs to encourage him because I doubt his girlfriend will.

What is your point in discussing Bosworth bashers? Seems to me Orlando still has a fanbase somewhere that is watching him and hoping his career will take an upswing, and many of those remaining fans would like less info on his love life and more info on his work prospects. The Bosworth bashers and lovers have nothing to do with anything - except for bringing up the interesting concept of personal bias. What’s odd to some people is that Kate and Miranda have done the same things when it comes to paps, PR and name dropping Orlando. So, why bash Kate for it and let Miranda run with the same agenda? Do you understand the point being made here? “Still the same old game” applies to Orlando and Miranda and the games they’re both playing with the press and the fans, IMO. Kate has learned some lessons. Orlando apparently has not.

I think you misread or misunderstood. To couldn’t talk about TRC now because it is being presented in Cannes was my understanding.
And about An Education I am of the mind that Orlando was fired. Just my guess. But that is what I believe happened. That said actors get fired (see Ryan Gosling for The Lovely Bones as a recent example off the top of my head) and/or leave movies all the time for any number of reasons. And scheduling conflicts are the standard excuse. I don’t think its a huge conspiracy that Orlando chose to bum around rather than work I think he got fired for some reason.
I find it hard to seperate the AE situation from this current MK push. He landed AE and suddenly it seems left NYC, skipped the GG party where they were rumored to make an appearance. This is the same time people point to as their “breakup” in NYC. And lo and behold this renewed situation doesn’t arise until he loses the job on AE. My take is he panicked, he needed a diversion and he agreed to this. That’s my theory nothing more.
For some odd reason I get the feeling his managers and pr aren’t giving a damn about him if they acually cared this wouldn’t be happening. I can see aleen saying this was good publicity for him even though I don’t think he’s happy. I beleive loom needs someone to stand up for him not lead him down the wrong path again. Yea I think he agreed with it but I only think to an extent I pray for wisdom for orlando and a back bone. I think when he’s contract he should leave that agency and get people who care enough about him. I hope he learns a valuable lesson from all this and it leads him to that right path in life.I also think that he wants to make everyone happy managers and pr team even though it is costing him he’s own happiness.

Miranda, seems to me to have grown up spoiled. I believe she has always got what she wanted just by her mannerism and remarks. I have no doubt she manipulates people, as that photographer said. I think her father said it best when asked about Orlando being a son-in-law, “whatever Miranda wants”, or something to that effect.
But then there are many people who grow up like that and they succeed for awhile, may make lots of money, have nice things, good-looking partners but when it really come down to it, are they happy? Well by looking at Orlando’s pose lately, I’d say not. He too maneuvers quite well. I am sure by how he often mentions his Dad discovery and that back injury, that he knew (along with his agent) those life stories would govern loads of sympathy and help him become the hot humble actor, who fans would fall all over themselves for. He was SO real, after all. But isn’t that the Hollywood game, to present an image to the world for adoration? I think they both are riding the wave and in time it will curl leaving them, if they cant mange authenticity, wondering where they went wrong. Orlando has the money and a world image to be whomever he chooses but his lack of but need for humility will cause his inner demons to eat him alive. Miranda on the other hand, will continue to move up the ladder, waving all the way. She is not deep enough to recognize life isn’t about fame and money, but can you blame her she’s been living in a false world since the tender age of 13?

I know Orlando dropped out of An Education because of supposed scheduling conflicts, but I’m curious as to why he had signed on for a lesser part to begin with? I can’t help but wonder if originally, he had been up for the Peter Saarsgard but didn’t get it. He instead opted for the other role only with the assurance that it would be expanded, but perhaps that didn’t happen & that’s why he dropped out. Just a theory of course.

My guess as well is that the role he took was changed or cut down (or as you speculated, not expanded) from what he was expecting when he signed on, and dropped out because he didn’t like it. Calling it a “scheduling conflict” was just a polite way of letting him back out, but I don’t think anyone (except some of the delusional fangirls on Olove) really believed that he couldn’t manage to finish his his part in AE before starting on TRC, which still has not been officially announced.
