Why is everyone drooling over David A .. he is so boring, yes he can sing, but he is boring and he is no where near original!

You can hate on Syesha if you want to, but you’re wasting your time, she has fans and I’m sure she is geting some of Carly votes as well she has been in the bottom 3 since the top ten and has pulled through, I know she probably won’t win because this whole show is rigged up anyway, but she is the best out of the 4 .. she can sing, perform and she is beautiful, if she doesn’t win I hope David C does!

I agree with Monica, #51. I still dont see why people hate on Syesha, she can sing and she is the “AI” image. Sadly America doesn’t know talent because they vote for the “cute” ones to get through and basically will ruin these peoples career. I have a felling Syesha is going home tonight, even though I wish she and David Cook were in the top 2. My favorites were Carly, David Cook, and Syesha…

I stopped watching Idol after Carly left bc she shouldn’t have went home that night. Here and there I catch their performances. Jason NEEDS to go home, been saying that for a very long time. Even if he can “sing” (which I dont think so, but to each thier own) he will never be popular and be the AI bc no one listens to that crap. David A. is boring. Yes people, he is. He can sing, and he is cute, BUT I’m sooo sick of hearing him bc he puts me to sleep and there is no growth.

So I would like Syesha to end up in the top 2, I highly doubts it’s going to happen bc People hate her for some dumb reason, so my votes for David Cook to win.

Why can’t Archuletta sing any other style. I am sorry but I cannot stand him. He is nasaly (cannot spell sorry) - my husband thinks he sounds like Fozie bear. I physically have to walk away when he comes on becasue he sounds exactly the same EVERY preformance. Its old and played out. He needs to be doing musicals - defintly not trying to sell albums - he won’t sell any - he has no niche - no style - nothing. He’s just a dorky kid that can sing ballads - next please because I am over him. David Cook will be a star no matter what. Who ever thinks he is sexy - needs to be on the sexual preditors registry. There is nothing sexy about a goofy 17 year old tha makes stupid faces and has bad posture…..

David A has a great voice but unfortunately for him he will end up being another Taylor Hicks. He has fans but will not pull a big support. He doesn’t have mass appeal.
David C. - Pray that he does not win. He could be the next daughtry. If he wins like someone else said AI will screw it up.
Castro- Sweet but should have been gone a long time ago. No mass appeal.
Syesha- She has the best chance if she wins to make something and sell records. That is who should win and who they can work well with.

AI is not just about singing voice. It is about talent, appeal and performance (not just voice). If they do not have the mass appeal (i.e. be liked by more than just a small group of people) they will be a Hicks. Fans loved him on the show but it was not enough people to buy his albums and make him into a star. Syesha and Cook are the only ones with this star potential. All jokes aside seriously David A could have a future with Disney.

I’m a little sad that David Cook sang Baba O’Reilly, because I had hoped Michael Johns would sing it 60s week. I’m still sad that he’s off the show :(

Randy and Simon are lousy actors. I guess they realized after last week that if they want to make it credible when they kick Jason off the show, regardless of votes, they better make Randy and Simon the scripted judges NOT Paula.

Who would really want to be on idol if they knew the show they were putting on was not about them singing, rather pretending to take a total sandbagging, even after a good performance.

Idol is like wresting now. Seriously. They were outraged at that performance? Hardly.

ok, as someone with a ton of vocal experience, heres my opinion:

David Cook: FANTASTIC recording voice. he does come off as a bit cocky sometimes, but i think its his confidence as a performer being construed that way. I wasn’t impressed last nite, but by all rights, and the overall performances, Cook deserves to win this competition. Even is he doesn’t win, he will still sell more records than any of the other contestants.

David Archuleta: pleasant voice, but very young. im not sure what he will accomplish music-wise after this show. he is getting so many votes because of his “bashful, humble” persona and smile, as well as his youth. Some great performances, but not as consistant as Cook’s. Last night he did better than David Cook, though, I will admit.

Syesha Mercado: spectacular range. but her voice is better suited for broadway. i think that is where she’d be most sucessful, if she can act- but if the tears and speech about the civil rights movement last were any indication, than I guess she can. Good voice, but pretty forgettable.

Jason Castro: decent voice. but decent is not good enough for this kind of a competition. the votes for him need to cease IMMEDIATELY. yes, his eyes are blue, and he has a goofy smile. but come on, he does NOT deserve to have gotten as far as he has. As with Cook, I think his quiet and mellow personality has been incorrectly construed, but I do agree that his song choices are either weird or poorly executed. And about forgetting the lyrics, yes it happens and has happened with other contestants, but at least the rest of the others’ actual performance was alright. His voice doesnt have enough strength to carry him any further. He is the one that should be eliminated tonight.

u kno wat i don’t care who wins cuz David Archuleta will always be my FAVORITE and he will get a ercord deal regardless! so i don’t give a furry rat’s but who wins BUT i HATE Cook and he is a FAKE CHRIS DAUGHTRY!

I’m so tired of reading the same thing… don’t you all the 12YO that read this have something else to do than say Archuleta rocks?
For pete’s sake, the poor dude didn’t do anything right last night… he did BALLADS when the topic was Rock & Roll can’t he even read??
It’s a shame he’s gonna end up like Taylor Hicks (sarcasm)

David Cook did amazing last night!! I voted 25 times last night!! He’s definitely the next american idol! He does everything just right and… let’s face it, he’s on top of everyone there! Syesha might end up with him in the final 2.

Next week hopefully Archuleta and his boring way of singing

I hope David Cook wins it all.
