I think the old poster/timers will always be given a benefit of doubt compared to new posters like me. A lot of old posters defended dragonfly/cleaning lady post cuz of her so called established reputation as JP fan. I wonder if that incident happen to me would I be given the same courtesy? I doubt it cuz like I said I am new here and I mostly lurk to boot. Like Carolina and prolly some posters, I share my computer with my whole family. Sure my daughters have laptops, but they are still under my IP address when they are home using their laptops. My only recourse is to firmly warn my children to NOT post at JJ even if it is a postive post. I simply don’t want to be suspected of being a troll and have to defend myself. I don’t relish fighting with trolls much less with fellow fans. I love JJ because all the fans are knowledgeable about the JPs-. Thank you all for your contribution.

no you wouldn’t be given the same benefit of the doubt! I gave it to Dragonfly because honestly, I didn’t want the grief! There I said it! For me it was funny and odd, the black supremacist group and all the bull, carolina has a sister who shares her computer and got dragged over the coals! And I was the first to notice so I take responsibility. So to be honest, I don’t buy the story, if the rest choose to, you can, if they wish, then there really is a double standard! The one they all say they the detest when it happens to the JP’s! Sorry, too many don’t understand the fact the reason good and real BAMPZS fans are driven off of JJ is the double standard!

WRONG! I’ve never paid $15 to get into a movie in my life and never will. I only go to matinees. Why?

1. Because it’s the same damned movie at 2pm as it is at 7pm.

2. Because I’m cheap. Paying an extra $3-5 makes no sense to me. If the movie sucks at 2pm…it’s going to suck at 7pm and I’m not paying $8-10 to see a sucky movie. Word.

I saw this the other day. Where are all the haters - online and print - saying Nic dragged Chanel down the tubes and that’s why they’re dumping her? If Angie’s presence, which saw a $400MIL profit last year for St. John, is said to have “draged the company down”, then surely with Nic in their ads Chanel must be ready to close up shop and call it a day.

I was thinking about the accusations of the JP’s being famewhores. You know, when I think of famewhores, I think of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, all those twits from The Hills, even Perez Hilton. His blog has turned into one big promo for himself. It used to be a mildly entertaining gossip blog, now he uses it to further his status as a celebrity. Can you believe that he is coming out with a clothing line? Then you even have celebrity mom’s whoring themselves for fame. Dina Lohan??? Embarassing. The JP’s neither invite the press nor seek them out to elevate their status. They don’t need to. They leave that to the ladies who lunch at the Ivy. Of course, don’t really need to mention one of the biggest fame whores of all. You know, she used to be on Friends.

Damn skippy there are! And I was VERY remiss by not mentioning that! Sorry! There are those who welcome and wait to see, then there are those who attack first, ask questions later. It’s harder for the welcoming ones because sometimes they are disappointed in those they have welcomed, but they (you, MF) are the ones the true fans feel a connection with. Human connections are one of the most important things on this earth, sad some don’t or won’t give themselves the opportunity to experience!
