She used to be bewitched, but it seems Nicole Kidman has lost some of her magic. The pregnant 40-year-old Australian actress will no longer be the face of Chanel No. 5. In her place, “Amelie” star Audrey Tautou has been chosen to plug the prestigious perfume starting in 2009.

Kidman first starred in the print and television ad campaign in 2004. The three-minute commercial, named “No. 5 The Film” was directed by “Moulin Rouge!” director Baz Luhrmann and filmed with the same over-the-top theatricality and vibrant colors. More mini-movie than commercial, it also featured hunky “Love Actually” actor Rodrigo Santoro.

Kidman reportedly earned $3.71 million for the spot, making her the Guinness Book of Worlds record holder for the most money paid per minute to an actor.

In 2005 Kidman was listed as the 45th Most Powerful Celebrity on the 2005 Forbes Celebrity 100 List. That year she was also said to have made $14.5 million, making her one of the highest grossing actresses in Hollywood. However according to The Daily Mail, industry insiders have apparently begun to question Kidman’s now $20 million movie price tag due to her recent flops “The Stepford Wives” and “Bewitched.”

Kidman is expecting her third child, with country music singer Keith Urban. The new baby will join Isabella, 15, and Conner, 12 whom Kidman adopted during her marriage to Tom Cruise.
