ok. i have nothing against Selena, i don’t think anybody should because it’s not like.. she’s done anything that would give any reason for you to hate her. Thats the same for Miley, although she has made a few mistakes in the past she apoligises and moves on. It’s v. likely that something similar that happened to miley is going to happen soon. Miley has been under the spotlight a LONG time and she’s had a lot of lessons and experience, it’s bound’ to get tough at times. Whereas selena on the other hand, not so long. I know she was in Barney a few years back but she sort of vanished and has reappeared. She is a very talented actress. But people shouldn’t be comparing them. Miley has done a lot of things for herself. she has her own TV show, a few albums, she’s been in a few films. she has a lot going on for her and it’s mean to say selena is the new miley when miley works ever so hard. You should treat them as equals. They both have amazing talent and showbiz’ isn’t a war. I personally like Miley more. like i said, i have nothing against selena but i’ve grown to like miley more. as i’ve seen her a repeated amount of times. + selena not so many. I wish them both the best of luck in they’re futures

the reason ratings were down for hannah montana last weekend is because disney advertised the new episode wayyyy less than they have in the past. i usually see a commercial for a new episode of hannah montana at least 50 times in the weeks before it airs, but for the newest episode, i only saw the promotion once. plus the new episode was up online before they aired it on tv, so why would people watch it on tv if they’re already seen it online?

and realistically, NO ONE can replace miley cyrus. i mean, she’s miley cyrus for god’s sake. she has her own character, her own energy, her own everything. she can’t be just pushed to the side at this point, she’s too famous. while i really do like selena gomez and demi lovato, and i think they are so adorable and talented, they still can’t live up to what miley cyrus has to offer. so the disney franchise can try all they like to “replace” miley cyrus. but they’re still stuck with her for two more albums [including the one out this july] and after that she’ll easily be famous outside of disney, whereas people who don’t associate themselves with the disney franchise have no idea who selena gomez & demi lovato are.

I think Miley fans are freaking out for no reason. First of all, Miley isn’t even that great. Her singing is ok, but her acting is attrocious, and she’s proved over and over again that she is NOT a good role model. She’s been overexposed and for some reason, people believe she is God’s great gift to Earth when she really is not.

As for Selena, well, we’ll see what happens with her. I’ve heard her song once and it wasn’t that bad. I think she’d be a good rock artist. I’ve never watched her show, but I’ve seen commercials and she seems like a pretty natural actress. She’s not that bad looking either, and I hear her show is doing pretty well.
