miley can sing but she is a very bad girl and she is very nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so thats why selena is way better because she has class something miley dosen’t have . i rather be able to not sing than show all my body to the internet.

They’re both ultimately disposable teen pop tarts. Disney has a factory somewhere that makes ‘em on an assembly line.

There’s no hard and fast rule about this sort of thing — some models catch on better than others, and briefly become celebrities. But Disney knows that they ultimately have a shelf life, and the next models are always coming along to replace the obsolete ones as they spin out of Disney’s orbit.

We’re already seeing this with Miley — rumours of conflict with Disney, trying to get out of her contract (presumably to kill the “Hannah Montana” image before it typecasts her forever), and efforts to generate a more sexy/raunchy image (semi-nude photo shoots, 20 year old boyfriend, etc.). It remains to be seen how effective this will be, and in general people who were hits as teenage performers don’t translate into successful adult performers.

Demi isn’t in Miley’s shadow I think that Demi up staged her big time by being in camp rock. Also “This is Me” is better than any song Miley ever will make. ^_^
