John Mayer hightailed it back to Miami last week after attending the Costume Institute’s Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. And reports were that he was spotted back at the very hotel where new amour Jennifer Aniston was staying.

The couple, who reportedly had their first lunch date in late April in Miami, made an official outing when they hit the “Marley and Me” wrap party May 10. Need visual proof of just how “close” the couple have become? Click here.

What is it about this dude that makes women fall over themselves? Any theories?

He’s a kitten and she’s a cougar, for one. (He turns 31 in October. And she’s 39.) But he’s also tall (reportedly 6-foot-3). And Jen does seem to like men she can look up to. Jen’s past mate/dates have been sizable. Tate Donovan is said to be 6-foot. Brad Pitt (reportedly 5-foot-11) is just under and Vince Vaughn (reportedly 6-foot-5) is a veritable skyscraper.

But why would Jen date a guy who dated Jessica Simpson? Doesn’t that set off alarm bells?

Maybe Mayer will write a love song about Jennifer.

How about “Any Time You Need a ‘Friend’?” or “With a Little Help From my ‘Friend’?”

Or better yet, “Let’s Save Our Middling and/or Sinking Careers With a Very Public Hook-Up?”

That has a nice ring to it.

Boy, people sure forget the interviews with Brad Pitt when he was with Aniston. On and on he gushed about Aniston. I don’t believe a word that comes from the mouth of Pitt. Ain’t needing to compare photos either. He fooled you once and he can do it again. Aniston can only go up after that self-centered media seeking moron! He is now with his match for sure!!!!

She is getting more pathetic by the day. Maybe that’s why Brad left her, she has no substance. She looks like a very needy, superficial person. Does she really think that John Mayer is going to marry her? Not only is he a player, he’s 9 years younger than her. Jen, grow up & find a mature guy to build a lasting relationship with. You’re no spring chickie any more.

While Brad and Angelina have been together for 3 years and have a growing family, Jen has hooked up with 3, 4, 5 odd guys and they have all left her, and now she is with Mayher??? I just really don’t understand whats going on with her? She seems at risk.

Kelly: Actually I have no idea of what John Mayer is going to do and certainly don’t think people think of marriage when they are a couple of weeks into a dating relationship. But I have to ask the same question when it comes to Brad and Angie. Brad is 44 years old and Angie is 32. They have been together for three years; they are not married. They don’t seem to mind that. There is a 12 year age difference. Are you saying it is different standards when it the women who is older and the man is younger? Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher seem to be making it work. Were you on Demi Moore’s thread beating her up because she was dating a younger man before they married each other? Brad and Angie have only been together for three years. A lifetime it does not make. Just because they are having children doesn’t mean they are going to make it either. That is not the cement in a relationship. People with children break up everyday.

Aniston will find someone when she does. It is not superficial to date people to find out what they are like, is it?

Jolie and Pitt deserve each other. They are happy. Jen deserves the same happiness. It is true that Pitt has aged and Aniston looks younger, but chalk it up to happiness on both parts.

But I have to tell you, the more I come here, the more I appreciate Jen. The trashing she gets and she still remains quiet.

I am a fan of Aniston and I am certainly not pinning for Brad Pitt nor would I wish him back into Aniston’s life. Sorry but since I have just started to come onto her sites I haven’t been privy as to what some of her fans do.

Since this woman is put into relationships by tabloids faster than you can say it, I have always kept quiet. This time it seems she is dating someone. How long it lasts who knows. She is dating. I don’t know much about this guy but I don’t believe in tabloids to say. Aniston will find out what kind of man he is by getting to know him.

I wish her only happiness.
