Zac & Vanessa: Kissing on the Court!
Vanessa Hudgens and boyfriend Zac Efron share a sweet kiss as the fans watch the Los Angeles Lakers play the Utah Jazz during overtime of Game 4 of the NBA basketball Western Conference semifinal series on Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Zanessa was seen holding their hands to their hearts during the Star Spangled Banner. Vanessa was also seen resting her head on Zac’s shoulder and Zac had his hand around his leading lady most of the game, as well. The Jazz beat the Lakers 123-115.
Pictures of Zac, Vanessa and High School Musical costar Ashley Tisdale were posted earlier today.

Vicky, am recovering from a bad sore throat. so you can imagine how my mothers day went, lying down most of the day.
Took a peek at the last thread and there was a big debate there with this guy, Dave. He must be new.
The kiss came in the dying seconds of overtime. There was no jumbotron action taking place at the time. Not surprised that the misinformation came from imdb.com
Fans of Zanessa, please, please refrain from filling a whole page with repeats. It is a pain for the rest of us posters(also fans) to scroll through. The haters and delusional zac and ashley fans we can ignore, but not you.

These kids must be thinking: “We’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t.” SOOOO, maybe they just decided that they would do what any other young couple who are in love do: hold hands, girl rest head upon boyfriend’s shoulder, have arms around each other, sweet little kisses, etc. Maybe they finally have said, if you get a picture of it , fine, it you don’t, OK and if you like it, good, if you don’t, too bad, etc. Maybe they have just said, “We will do what we want, when we want , and how we want” and to heck with all of people who want to find fault with us. Maybe they are secure enough now to know they have a ton of support and loyal fans but that the nay-sayerers will always be there so be it.
As far as them being private or not answering questions: Don’t you people see the difference? If I am walking down the street holding hands with my husband or he gives me a quick kiss over something that is between us, then that is our right to do so as we are not infringing on anyone else or their “space”. We are not doing anything questionable, etc. BUT if someone takes it upon themself—because they have seen us do these things and havd decided they want more information—comes up to us and asks if we are married, how long, if we have children, if we are going to have any, or why we don’t—-that becomes invasion of our privacy and we have the RIGHT not to answer those questions if we don’t wish to.
The same goes for Vanessa and Zac. If people like the National Ledger are too stupid not to “get” that they are dating after all the pictues that are out there—especially those from the Palm Springs festival—-then it is not Vanessa and Zac’s place to have to give them a monthly update as to their relationship, like “Yes, we are dating, yes we are more than just budddies”, etc. BECAUSE they know IF they should start answering those kinds of questions posed at the HSM3 interview sessions—which were totally inappropriate since it was about the making of the movie and not about Zac and Vanessa—-then the next questions that those kind of people will ask is, “Are you planning to get married?, Are you going to move in together?” etc. That’s nobody’s business. And I think that is what Vanessa and Zac are wanting to be private about. They don’t so much care if they are seen holding hands, etc. BUT they do know what a furor it causes when their ARE pictures of it.
I see what some of you are saying.
At least by the looks of the pictures, Zac did seem really into the game at that moment. And once V realized they were on the jumbotrons, you can just tell she was looking up at Zac just waiting for the kiss. Zac barely went in for the kiss by the looks of the video. But as someone did mention already, Zac does seem like a VERY private person and he was put in an awkard position to kiss V.
Anyways, that’s just my thought on the kiss!

Some people on this thread are over analyzing to the point of making themselves believe that Zac was merely coerced to kiss Vanessa. Seriously, if you are a fan of Zac…by saying this then you are undoubtedly insulting the intelligence of the guy. The reality is Z & V are a couple and have remained a couple for more than 2 and a half years. NO ONE forced the guy to get into this relationship. He could have hooked up with Ashley or Nikki or any other random girl. BUT the thing is HE CHOSE Vanessa. So lets just get over the fact and stop over analzyzing things and take things as they are….they are a normal loving couple who went to a basketball game to enjoy the game.

Right On! Karen. I just want to add that as far as this kissing thing is concerned, I’m of the opinion that Zac has always been very affectionate towards Vanessa even before they were in the limelight.
The good morning america show where they performed infront of the tweeny/teeny crowd is evidence. There was an instant when they were just standing around and Zac went over to Vanessa and slung his arm around her neck/shoulder for half a min. Long enough for me to notice. It was an obvious sign of affection and was so long ago after Hsm1.
It is only just recently that Zac is learning to feel comfortable with showing his affections under public scrutiny. Basically, he is still private about blabbing to the public about his love life, He just does’nt hide his affections towards Vanessa anymore, that’s all.

OMG, why are some people so bent out of shape because Zac happened to kiss, hold hands, and hug his girlfriend Vanessa at a basketball game? They are young and in love from everything we see and hear and it’s not a crime to be affectionate towards one another, at least the last time I checked…LOL.
No, it’s not for publicity or they would not have tried to hide it before this and it’s a fact that before HSM was ever filmed, Disney did not approve of co-stars dating. Why can’t everyone just be happy for this couple and not try to over analyze their relationship? As if Vanessa would need to coerce Zac into kissing her. What a crock!!
