Older‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ Gets the Green Light
NBC announced that comedian Jimmy Fallon will replace Conan O’Brien as host of the Late Show next year.
“It’s going to be a grind, it’s going to be hard, but I’m going to go at it full force,” Fallon told reporters on a conference call. “The fact that I’m stepping into David Letterman and Conan O’Brien’s shoes is very exciting.”
When asked how much his new job would pay, Fallon joked, “I keep asking Lorne and he’s telling me not to worry about. They’re paying me enough. I just want to live comfortably in Dubai.”
Fallon, 33, was a regular on Saturday Night Live for six seasons and was co-host of its “Weekend Update” segment.
The premiere date for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has not been announced yet.

i’ll watch conan then just change the channel, cause this dude is far from funny.
I remember liking him when he was on snl but I havent seen him for so long I dont remember what I liked about him. I’ll probably watch the show though just to see. At least its not Carson Daly, that guy is so not funny.

Conan is absolutely hilarious, I think Jimmy has VERY HUGE shoes to fill… I don’t know if he can live up to what Conan made.
I however, CAN’T WAIT for Conan to take over Leno!! I’ll definitely be tuning it in for that.

Wow, alot of negativity towards Jimmy. I believe he will be wonderful on there, he just has to be given a chance; it’s not fair to compair him to Conan, they are two very different comedians with their own style.
No, actually they are ONE comedian with style….and Jimmy Fallon.
Oh, how I hope he hires Horatio as his sidekick…they can crack each other up for an hour - hiLARIOUS.
