OlderNicole Kidman’s Nashville Mother’s Day
Parents-to-be Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban pick up a few parenting books at their local book store on Saturday in Nashville, TN.
Nic, 40, was seen picking up “Pocket Dad: Everyday Wisdom, Practical Tips, and Fatherly Advice” for Keith and for herself, “Your Pregnancy, Week by Week”. The Aussie power couple expect their baby in late July.
And on Sunday, Nicole celebrate Mother’s Day with some girlfriends. Nic and her gal pals were all smiles as they grabbed lunch together in Nashville.
Kidman’s pal, Naomi Watts, recently was asked if Nicole will be a good mother. Watts said, “Of course. She’s already a great mom. Whenever you’re pregnant, you always call on your pregnant friends to compare notes. That’s what happens in close friendships.”

nicole doesn’t have kids.. never will.
Nicole’s belly is twice as big as it was a month ago. She clearly has a much bigger bump now in these photos especially the first photo. Her belly is very round. She’s carrying the baby all up front. The people saying they don’t see it are just jealous and can’t accept that she’s having Keith’s baby so they pretend they don’t see a bump because they don’t want to see it.
Miapocca. I think you are right. Tom and his robot wife have alienated Nicole from her children. Ever since Katie said that Nicole’s kids now call Katie “mom” I have suspected them of doing this. It was such a mean and unnecessary thing to say, and it made me realize that they are actively trying to alienate Nicole from her kids.
They belong to a cult and that’s important to remember. Unlike Nicole. Scientologists don’t live by our rules, and they view people outside the cult more or less as enemies. It’s tragic, especially for the children who learn to think badly of their mother.

Nicole Kidman is FAR from fragile. Anyone who thinks that has been completely taken by the image she wants to put forth. She has not gotten where she is today by being fragile….rutheless is more like it. Seems to me…if she wanted to be in her ‘other’ childerns’ lives she would be. Any other mother out there that has the kind of money she has where ‘working for a living’ is not something they are bothered with, would be with their children especially on Mothers Day. Even if it was only a few hours. She has the capability to make it happen. Perhaps she thinks she is doing them a favor by graciously bowing out of their lives….I however don’t think that is what her childern think! No child wants to be left by their mother…even if she is not the greatest at showing affection or having the right answers all of the time, or just not being the best mom all the time. No mom is, that I know of. But wanting to be with them would come through….if it were the truth!
Maybe you don’t get it “truthful”. Since the kids are brainwashed by a CULT, by people (Tom and Kate) who obviously intensely dislike their mother, the kids don’t WANT to see their mother. Nicole can’t force them to like her when they are being constantly brainwashed and pressured every day.
I’m sure Tom wants Nicole out of their lives, and he will make the kids want the same thing. They aren’t toddlers anymore. If they don’t want much contact with their mother you cannot force them.
I blame Tom, and Tom only, in this.

The quote from Naomi is odd. Having kids is probably much different now that she’s away from the Scientology bubble but that quote is awkward.
I think nicole has been very concerned about not gaining too much weight during her pregnancy…I just hope she’s eating enough for the baby. She just does not look like a healthy pregnant woman to me. I do love them together though…they are good for one another. As for her other children…I would have to agree that Tom’s power and control over them, along with the brainwashing that comes with the Scientology upbringing, keeps them distant from their mother…it’s a shame, and I’m sure hurtful to Nicole. But thank goodness she had the smarts to ditch Tom when she did and can have a better life now. He is by far the most whacked out disturbed person she’s ever known.
I’m guessing anyone commenting on how she doesn’t have a belly at all have NEVER been pregnant. So here’s a crash course.
1. Women show later in first pregnancies. Yes she has has miscarriages, but never carried beyond the first trimester. In first pregnancies beyond the first trimester, the uterus stretches and grows, but not the way it would in a second or third pregnancy, which is why women almost always show earlier in subsequent pregnancies.
2. Thin women show later than heavier women.
3. Tall women show later than shorter women, because their bodies have more room to accomodate a growing fetus and uterus without having to push outward.
4. Anyone concerned about the health of the baby shouldn’t be. I’m sure she has doctors that are given her proper care. On top of that, if there was real cause for concern, as in Nicole exercising too much or not eating enough, we would see Nicole becoming more gaunt and unhealthy, which we don’t. The fetus takes what it needs from the mother’s body, resulting in the woman’s body bearing the brunt, not in a small or unhealthy baby.
Before you criticize, educate yourselves on pregnancy.
i’m no fan of Tom’s but get the history straight, it’s so annoying when people rewrite it!— Tom left her and she was “devastated and shocked.” (her words).

1 - WRONG! I started showing at four months with my first pregnancy.
2 - WRONG! I weighed 110 pounds when I got pregnant for the first time.
3 - WRONG! I’m tall for a woman.
4 - WRONG! A doctor isn’t with her 24/7 and sees what she intakes for food and how much she exercises. A doctor can’t even guess how big a baby will be. I was told by my family doctor and OBGYN that my baby wouldn’t even be 8 pounds at birth. It turned out to be 10 pounds instead!
thanks really, I agree with you. And as for the facts about who left who, nobody really knows the truth, and certainly not the tabloids. Either way, she’s lucky to be done with him.
Why do you say “Parent to be”? She’s a mother of two children. We just spotted her a few months back with her daughter Bella. They are so sweet together!

People need to get a handle on things. With my SECOND child you could not even tell I was having a baby THE NIGHT I GAVE BIRTH! I had to argue with the nurse just to call my doctor when I showed up at the ER! Just because it doesn’t look like you ate a truck does NOT mean that the baby is unhealthy or you aren’t pregnant! My son was healthy and weighed 7lbs!
Every woman is different. Give her a break.
And yes Doc’s can give you an IDEA of how big the baby will be.

I think they look great, I’m so sick and tired of everyone saying she doesn’t look Pregnant Enough!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding!! How pregnant is pregnant enough??? We saw Keith in Concert in Sept. he is awesome!!! He’s much cuter in person than in these darn photo’s. Not only that but he’s very talented and very sexy on stage. Ya know they both come with baggage, I think if they have worked through their problems we need to leave them alone to enjoy this time that might only come Once In Their Life Time so they can Have A Better Life!!!!! I hope he wins Entertainer Of The Year at the ACM Awards, he so deserves it…

Some people should keep their mouth shut if they don’t have anything good to say. How can somebody laugh at a mother who can not be with their children? How can somebody laugh or please thinking that her children did not call her on the mother’s day?
Unless we are parents ourselves, we will not know how it feels to have children but can not be around them.
But I guess, it is a waste to talk to a bunch of rhinoceroses!
By the way, it is so good to see her looks so happy like that!

Nicole looks great and happy! the belly is cute! Pregnancy makes her more better and beautiful than before.
She looks like she’s going to be a great grandmother instead of a mother..She sure missed out on that pregnancy glow.I wonder if the surrogate is glowing cause The Old Gray Mare sure isn’t.
