People Magazine Mistakes Rain for Karl Yune
Speed Racer star Rain, aka rookie racer Taejo Togokhan, must have been glad he was featured in latest issue of People.
But instead of the 26-year-old Korean actor/pop star (inset), the mag accidentally published a picture of Karl Yune (Rick Yune’s younger brother).

My racist mom flat out told me that all white people looked alike. So I grew up thinking Barbara Walters was Bea Arthur. Now, I am married to a White man and I can confirm - they don’t all look alike - my honey is one of a kind!

That asian look-alike game tripped me up several times. I thought I’d be a lot more accurate especially considering I’ve got several Korean relatives. But it was fun!

Maybe I should start a new website allwhiteslooksame.com and have them choose a white person and distinguish them from german, russian, british, american, australian, irish, and french. As for the article, I’m not surprised that an american magazine made that mistake… I am surprised though than an asian male (alexis is a guy) would make the mistake however.
