People will likely vote for that annoying Archuleta kid. He will likely win, but shouldn’t and will only end up like Taylor Hicks and Clay Aiken. He cannot sell records and is boring with an overzealous dad.

On the other hand, Cook has the success of Chris Daughtry behind him. People might vote for him bc they realized they made a mistake with Chris Daughtry in season 6(?).

Syesha was the only one that took a risk today with her song choices. She chose songs that the judges and people wouldn’t normally see her singing which is a great thing because it proves what a true and risky taking artist she really is. Archuleta played it safe and did awful cook did good but again didn’t take a risk it was a typical cook performance.

Clay Aiken wasn’t the winner of American Idol it was Rueben Studdard. Clay has been very busy. He was on the tonight Show with Jay leno last night. Very entertaining. Ruben, Taylor have not been heard of lately or even last year’s winner..what’s her face..

All three of them are quite good and they all have their respective niches awaiting them in the music industry. None of them however is completely unique with each new song. David Cook usually starts out mumbly and ends with the same predictable big finish every time. Archuleta’s style is equally predictable, throwing in a few too many of the same runs when he really doesn’t need to. Seyesha is a great singer but hasn’t had me saying “Wow” yet, not even once.

Some of the song choices tonight were tragic, in particular that horrible third song that was chosen for David A. There’s no improving on that song because its just so bad there’s really no place to take it. They might as well have given him Muskcrat Love or Afternoon Delight to sing.

AI has been a very big disappointment this year. Not because of the talent, but the song choices have been horrendous . Virtually every time they give the contestants a choice, they pick songs that do not showcase their talents.

David Cook is amazing. His performance of Weber’s “Music of the Night” won me over. I am trusting that in the hands of a good producer and recording company rep, he will have the same chance of success as Daughtry. But he will need to put his trust in someone who really knows this business as he cannot yet pick music which compliments his vocal range.

While David Archuletta certainly has talent, his charisma fades when the music stops. He is not ready for public life.

David C is all-around good and will have a great career whether or not he wins.

Whatever. Syehsa is toast. The producers want the two Davids to battle it out. David Cook will win because David A’s Dad was a pain in the ass to everyone involved with AI.

Archuleta is such a one-trick pony. tonight pretty much showcased that fact. WTF was he thinking with his choice of “with you”?!?!?! the sad thing is the tweens are voting like mad to keep him in because he was so weak tonight…. VOTE FOR COOK!!!!!

yes. she is still there. even though in my opinion she was the best today I am not sure she has enough fans (like tween girls drooling for pretty boys) to take her through to the final. So Jasmine keep your fingers crossed.

Syesha sounded like she was auditioning for part on Broadway.. not to win a recording contract.

Anyway, I think David Cook has the most talent on the show right now- artistically and vocally. His range is astonishing. And although his voice seemed hoarse tonight, you could still recognize that it was a beautiful voice that was probably over-worked.

Oddly, i miss jason as well. he has a lovely, soothing voice that I LOVE listening to. It’s subtle and i feel like the judges are more partial to OBVIOUS voices. But it’s beautiful if you really pay attention.

anyways…david A’s With You was REALLY BAD….right when he started i was already laughing…i couldn’t believe it…it was like a little kid pretending to be Chris Brown…omg…and he always looks and sounds the same old, same old…i really don’t get why the judges always praise him, especially Randy. every week he praises him…do i smell Favoritism?? no matter what David COOK is gonna win!!!

Simon has called the winner every season and he definitely wants Cook to come out on top. Hopefully he will have stellar performances that exhibit the dynamic range of his voice as well as the gritty unique style of which he is so capable.
