Nicole Richie & Joel Madden’s PSA for UNICEF

New parents Nicole Richie & Joel Madden lend their support to UNICEF in a campaign to raise funds for 8 million children affected by the Myanmar cyclone.

Watch the PSA below! But here’s what Nicole and Joel say anyway: “We want to talk to you about Myanmar, a country that’s just been devastated by the biggest disaster since the tsunami. Ten of thousands are dead and rising. 8 million children’s lives hang in the balance. These kids need food, water, medicine, shelter and protection. Because UNICEF has been on the ground in Myanmar for 60 years, they are able to deliver emergency supplies right now. Please help UNICEF do whatever it takes to save children’s lives. Take a moment to visit UNICEFUSA.org and please give generously.”

Unicef is a corrupt organization. many veterans from Afghanistan say that the funds are being mismanaged. The people who need the resources the most are not receiving them. Do not donate!!!

I’m continually amazed by the judgmental attitude of most posters. Who cares WHY they did this promo? If it helps, it’s a good thing. Stifle those nasty thoughts and send money to UNICEF instead.

It’s so horrible seeing all this negativity here. Looks like most people really don’t care. Please someone explain why it bothers you SO MUCH that they did this? This is for a GOOD cause. Do you have ANY idea what’s going on in China and Myanmar right now?
