CANNES, France - It’s twins for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!

In an interview that took place in Cannes on Wednesday with the TODAY show’s Natalie Morales (airing tonight on Access Hollywood and tomorrow on TODAY) Jolie confirmed the baby news that has been rumored for months.

The twins will be the couple’s fifth and sixth children. Jolie confirmed the news in a side-by-side interview with Jack Black — they are promoting their new Dreamworks animated film, “Kung Fu Panda.”

Black was the first to let the news slip, and then Jolie followed up with her own confirmation.

“You’re gonna have as many as (the) ‘Brady Bunch’ when you have these,” Black joked.

“It’s confirmed? Is it two?” Morales asked.

“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie responded. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”

Is that true?” Black said jokingly.

“Yeah, you did,” Jolie replied.

“Sorry,” Black concluded.

“So you’re having twins?” Morales asked as Jolie nodded.

“Do you know the sexes of the babies?” Moralas asked. “Or are you keeping that private?”

“We would like to keep that private,” Jolie replied.

Brangelina’s kids get a glimpse of siblings-to-be
TODAY: ‘I want to be a great mom,’ tearful Jolie says

“Are you going to stay here in France to deliver?” Morales also asked at one point.

“Possibly,” Jolie answered.

Jolie also talked extensively with Morales about her family — how her kids are all very proud of where they’re each from.

She says that all of her kids loved watching “Kung Fu Panda.”

I am sure she let Jack Black have it (playfully) for letting such private news slip. Let the media circus begin! Poor things, they are going to have a hard time being out and about now.

I just hope the person who sold this informatin to the tabloids from the doctor’s office slips up and spills the beans to someone and they turn their ass in and they get suspended or fired! Believe it or not The pshyic I asked earlyer this month told me they are going to have twins and they are girls. He did not know himself, he was playing because when Nancy asked her she said yes, we confirmed it and Jack said really? He went on to sort of apologize for breaking the news in a shy kind of way. He was just as surprised.

Maybe Angie was just ready to tell it anyway and decided to just go with it. She and Brad may have decided ahead of time that if it came up during any of the Cannes press they would go ahead and confirm it is twins. I dunno, just speculating.

Thanks, with everything moving so fast - I couldn’t tell if I missed something. LOL at alia wishing for June 27 - hope she gets her wish. I hope everyone remembers that multiple births don’t go full term (40 weeks) and sometimes incur complications. So we should all say a little extra prayer. Angie and Brad pretty much obliterated her weak game without even trying. Their normal day-to-day life outpaces all her best efforts to stay relevant. She’s probably bawling her fool head off right about now. Johnny Pee Good (luv it, gotta use it) is probably looking at her and thinking she is the whackest chick in the Universe, which will give him an immediate uncontrollable urge to shower her with all his golden essence. Couldn’t happen to better gal, I say.

Obviously if the twins are identical they will be the same sex. But as for fraternal twins, half the fraternal twins in the world are same-sex and the other half are male-female.

The anticipation of what these two young uns will look like has made me curious. A boy and girl would be great. There needs to be a mini Brad Pitt in the world.

What exactly is your problem with Brad? Every frea-king post from you is anti-Brad. You are not an Angelina fan. Because if you are, you will be happy with her choices in life and support her. Brad is good to/for her and their children. She found someone with the same vision in life and together they are helping others and creating a family that one day may follow their humanitarian endeavors.

I think you hate Angie because she has what you are lacking in life-beauty, lovely children, fans that support her no matter what, wealth, friends in high places, respected humanitarian, and most of all BRAD PITT! X in Maddox and Pax, Z in Zahara and SH in Shiloh are difficult for kids to say. Of course I love their names but it kind of makes it hard on the kids if they can’t say their names until they are 4 or 5 years old. I don’t want to play the guessing game either but I hope they can find names that suit their young family.

Can you trolls get any stupider? If she were in a hurry to get to 14 and went the in vitro route…then why didn’t she have multiple eggs fertilized in an attempt to have triplets, quints or septs? That’s typically what happens with in vitro. They implant multiple fertilized eggs to see if they take, then give the couple the option of “culling” the fertilzed eggs to however many babies the couple wants at one time.

I had a co-worker who did in vitro with his wife and they ended up with 5 eggs fertilized at the same time and ultimately opted for “twins”, which were fraternal because they came from two separate eggs.

People who are in a “rush” to have a large family can achieve that a lot quicker if they have more than 1 or 2 babies at a time. DUH. Why can’t you twits ever think through your idiotic comments before somene points out what a fool you are?.

She ought to know - she used to be an OB/GYN delivery nurse and teaches at a nursing school. What’s your credentials? She’s talking rules of modern medicine in the civilized world. You’re talking women without insurance and in third world countries. Any ob/gyn worth his salt is going to tell his patient what her BEST option is for a successful delivery AND recovery so the patient can make an informed decision. If your doctor’s not doing that…and you don’t live in the middle of the Sahara desert, a rice field in Cambodia, a mud hut in Africa, etc…then your ass needs to find another doctor.

Thank ya, dear! I was going to reply the same thing more or less. And I see where it has been edited out that I was just giving my opinion. Most OB docs these days always opt for the safer route, but they still give patients a choice. She may want to try and deliver vaginally, but alot depends on it…such as the postion of the babies and all. I am sure they will have an OR on standby for her if necessary. Women have been delivering breech babies vaginally for centuries, too, but you see they chose the C-sec with Shiloh because she was breech. I was just saying I won’t be surprised if she doesn’t VBAC.

Ooooh Brad! I hope at least one of the twins is a mini Brad, a younger hottie for the next generation to swoon over.

Hi all BAMPZS fans, YIPPEE!!

I was at work today, busy like you wouldn’t believe, and just happened to go on the internet, and saw the news about the twins. So what did i do? I started laughing like a fool, and everyone was looking at me like i had lost my mind. But i didn’t give a damn,and when i told them why i was going crazy with happiness, they understood, because they all know i am a “die-hard” JP fan.

This is the best news ever, and just shows that Brad and Angie are blessed. They are such genuine, loving and good people, that good will always follow them. “GOOD” always trumps evil. Everytime.

She looks absolutely beautiful. If it is possible, i think she has gotten even more gorgeous. God was in a very good mood when Angie was created.

I read Atlas Shrugged years ago and liked it very much, but for the life of me I can’t imagine how they are going to make a movie of that book that runs in under six hours without chopping the book to bits. That’s the problem with filming a big book — so much gets left out.

Yes, I’m enjoying it too. Not in the nature of a novel - its got too much of the Author’s hand in the message, but still very enjoyable.

I wonder though if the younger people will truly understand the book, now that communism, the context in which that book was written has pretty much crumbled away.

Mind you, right now, I’ve got dealings with government bureaucracy and when I started reading AS, I couldn’t help seeing some similarities.

Did you ever watch the British comedy series Yes Minister? If not, give it a go. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Yes, ya’ll it was so nice to hear Dustin H’s comments about Angelina. It just makes the hens’ rants about how everyone hates Angelina all the more ludicrous.

It is great that A listers are saying great things about Angie. But I love the fact that she doesn’t give a damn what anyone says. She is honest to a fault, not afraid to live on the edge and then learn from her mistakes. She is confident, generous and talented. What a great mother she will be. It goes without saying that she is beautiful on the outside, but I think what is going on with her on the inside is more of the turn on.
