Julianne Moore is Stuck in Blindness

Julianne Moore (in Lanvin) poses for the 61th Annual Cannes Film Festival photocall for Blindness at the Palais des Festivals on Wednesday.

Blindness, stars Julianne Moore and will open this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Based on a novel by Nobel laureate Jose Saramago, it’s about a city where inhabitants inexplicably go blind, one by one.

Danny Glover, Gael Garcia Bernal and Alice Braga also star in the film and were also on hand at the photocall.

This is a great book. I hope people read it before the movie comes out. Even if the movie is good, it can’t capture what Saramago does in words.

The movie was not well received by the press, but they were all right on something: Julianne Moore is amazing in “Blindness”.

saramago one of best portuguese writers.
I saw in a channel a french critic saying that julianne moore is nice, but is not an A-lister… I was like, wtf !!
