Gwyneth Paltrow is in Full Bloom

Gwyneth Paltrow appears on the June 2008 cover of V Magazine. Here’s what the 35-year-old actress had to say:

On why she decided to do Iron Man: “Well, it has a really good cast-Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, and Terrence Howard. That’s why I did it. Essentially I hadn’t worked for a long time because I really liked being a mommy at home.”

On what it means for a director to be good with actors: “There is an underlying belief in you, so you feel safe. And because there’s an underlying respect, you feel you can try things. James [Favreau] was like: I don’t want any walls between you and the camera. I want the real deal all the time. It felt like I was able to explore a different way of acting in this movie. I feel like since I’ve had my kids I’ve become very economical in how I get to where I’m going.”

On how she knows Prince Charles. The first time I met him was at a Royal premiere-Legends of the Fall-so it was with Brad Pitt and I was 22. It was all very heady-being Brad Pitt’s girlfriend, which was lovely, and then meeting Prince Charles. At some point soon after that I was asked to get involved in the Prince’s Trust. I wouldn’t say I know him, but I’ve met him on a number of occasions. I admire him.

On whether or not she will have more kids: “I don’t know. I go back and forth. I can’t bear the idea of not having another one, but I also can’t bear the idea of being pregnant again. I’m so bad at it. I was sick the whole time. We’ll see. It changes from day to day. If it’s meant to be it will happen.”

…I guess by mentioning Brad favorably she may have been trying to make up for the SNARKY comment she was quoted making on the Iron Man red carpet recently when asked if she wanted to wish Brad congradulations on the baby, and she simply said “No”. …I know it was one of those dumb questions the media asks…but she could have simply not answered or she could have just went ahead and congradulated him…cause I’m sure he’s happy for her and her new family!…especially since he was so loyal to her and she was reportedly not faithful to him when they were together! …. vacuous *****.

…I liked her in ‘Shakespeare in Love’, and when she did SNL, but otherwise, she comes across as being very condescending and bimbo headed sometimes…

…I know she’s kicking herself for letting Brad get away….(just like the pathetic-pity-party throwing ex-wife is…)

Maybe she mentioned Brad because she was telling a story and he was a part of her life. Everytime she mentions him doesn’t mean that she’s trying to ride on his coattails or be nasty. They were in a relationship. When she talks about that period of her life, he’s naturally going to be mentioned.

She is hella stupid. Seriously. She’s dumb. One big fat stupid contradiction. I’d hazard to say, she’s DUMBER than Maniston. Which is saying something. I still don’t get the logic of this woman:

She says sh*t like this and yet…

1) butts her nose into other people’s personal relationships and advises them in the press.

2) She can’t stop mentioning Brad in some form or fashion and neither can her husband which is very bizarre.

..and yet:

3) She makes it a rule to not talk about her own husband, or be seen with him in public.

So the logic is, don’t be seen with them, snd don’t discuss them or the part of your life that they are supposed to be a big part of…UNTIL they are OUT of your life…then….

..proceed to mention them frequently over the next 12 years.

…and please, I call bullsh*t on her having to talk about him - they asked her a simple question. How long have you known the Prince. All she had to say, was ‘I met him years ago, at a movie premiere -started working with his foundation, and have met him on and off since.’ BAM. Done. Over. The interviewer didn’t even ask her about Brad Pitt.

I think Stephen Huvane, the monster PR queen to both Fishyth and Maniston, gets a kick out of the b*tches in his stable invoking Brad Pitt constantly. I think he tells them to get a ‘Brad Pitt,’ in their at least once. Truly - I think Pitt vexes him, and he advises these homely b*tches to invoke his name as much as possible to get coverage in the press. He knows Pitt is like Midas. I personally think he misses drooling over him and having access myself…he was probably more broken up than aniston when they split.
