John Mayer shows off the perks of being a celebrity in his latest blog entry, showing the world the latest and greatest from RIM — The Blackberry Bold. Here’s what he blogged:
“Hi. My name is John. I like cool stuff, early. Is that so wrong? Isn’t it funny how there are no more “geeks” in the world? Remember the distinction? Now everyone is a geek. So the word is dead. Maybe that’s where “douche” was born. The human need to separate and demean. Who knows. At any rate, It has blazing fast 3G and twice the screen resolution, and the fonts look like something out of the New York Times. Which makes “WHERE R U” read as if it were an op/ed.”

Halli..er… Cllinique……..no, you’re wrong. He has a very large, as in huge, fan base who don’t think that at all. Almost ALL of his concerts are SOLD OUT which tells me he is respected and very well liked.

I remeber John Mayer large fan base agreeing that he was a douche bag because I was one of the fans posting on his site saying. I agree he is a douche bag. You can tell the PR people are at work here.
John is funny and smart. He is just a bit goofy and likes to mess with the tabloid press because they are not very funny themselves and and not smart enough to get his humor. It is so funny the people who hang on Perez Hilton’s every word. Perez Hitlton is a douche bag and full of himself. Perez really thinks he’s a celebrity now which is a joke.
You post something on your own blog because you assume people who don’t hate you are there reading it. I love that people think he’s a publicity ***** because someone else (aka, celebrity bloggers) lift what he’s put on his site and post it elsewhere. Nice logic, people.
The man is talented, attractive and self-deprecating. Apparently incredibly self-aware too, from what it looks like. For the record, if those are “douchebag” qualities, sign me up. I’ll take that over someone who takes themselves WAY too seriously and is hanging on by a thread of talent any day of the week.
That being said, that phone looks pretty sweet.
