Wentworth looked normal but sara was lifting her skirt a little in a flirty manner. that is what Sarah Wayne Pathetic! was talking about. I think SWC lacked class by doing that given that she is married and she is now a mother. If you scan back to post #130, you can see that according to that post it is Wentworth joking about Sarah slipping “him” the ruffies, not the other way around. So in other words he is joking about “Sarah” taking advantage of him.

Now as to the return of SWC:

Let me just get out of the way for those of you supporting her return, that I am in no way attacking Sarah’s acting abilities. In regards to the work she did on the show, I think she did an absolutely superb job. I just think that with bringing her back, the show will be entering Jumping The Shark Territory. I mean for crying out loud, they cut off the woman’s head. Maybe if they had it where Susan B./Gretchen just said that she killed Sarah(without proving she did), then they could argue that she lied to Lincoln to prove that The Company meant business. But they cut off her head and sent it to Lincoln in a box as proof. As far as I am concerned there is just no getting around that.
I know that according to Paul Sheuring, they are going to argue that Lincoln did not get a good look at the head in the box(”So it could have been anyone’s head in there.”). I mean come on, does anyone else think he is grasping at straws on that one?
Speaking of our boy Paul. I seem to recall in the Special features on the DVD for the first season, Paul stating how he and the other writers had the story all mapped out in their heads. And how characters were going to die, much to the shock of some of the fans. He went on to say how he and the other writers would never allow fan reaction to these deaths, change their vision of the direction they planned on taking the show. What I would like to know, with Sarah coming back because of “fan reaction”, what happened to the writers resolve to stay true to their vision for the show?

The creators may have had a plan in mind when PB started, but things obviously don’t always go as planned. The initial plan was probably to kill off Dr. Tancredi at the end of S1, but they decided to keep her alive because that was best for the show, considering how well she played the part and how compelling MiSa was.

Midway through S3, SWC got pregnant and needed to be away from the show for several months…that wasn’t something that the writers had anticipated. S3 went on without her, but it was weakly written and they seemed to be treading water with the storyline. Then there was a protracted writer’s strike.

After reflecting on the direction of the show and realizing that there WAS a way for Dr. Sara to be alive, TPTB made the decision to bring her back…and I for one am ecstatic!!!

I think it’s the best possible decision for the show, and as I’ve said before, DR. SARA WILL GIVE PB A SHOT IN THE ARM!!!

I don’t have any problem with SWC, it’s just so dissapointing that Prison Break writers don’t have the ability to keep the show up without the MiSa story.
They could’t make such a strong plot that would make people forget about the dead characters and stay tunned to the show. That would be a challenge.

That is exactly what I heard from another insider - she particularly emphasized that Went is not at all ashamed of his homosexuality, is completely comfortable in his own skin, but has been playing the game at the behest of the network and for what is perceived as the good of the show.

He takes his responsibilities with regard to the success of “PB” extremely seriously - including feeling responsible for the jobs of all the people that work on it - and does not want to do anything to jeopardize that. Given the homophobic attitudes of much of Middle America, I think it’s completely understandable he’s nervous and cautious on this issue.

Obviously the burden became almost unbearable to him during his relationship with Luke, and he’s now playing the game in the most limited way possible (”No comments” to personal questions, etc). The telling thing will be what happens after “PB” ends. From recent comments he’s made, it seems pretty clear he is keen for this coming one to be the last season.

In spite of what was posted above, plenty of his and the show’s fans (including the straight girls) are anxious for this too. The show has clearly run its course.

“I like French women”. Sonia, he means he likes women from Paris and their style. I am sure Wentworth likes women, he loves his Mom and sisters, he has a lot of female friends like Amy or Mariana.

But it doesn’t mean he wants to have SEX with them. Lots of gay men love or admire women: Mariah Carey, Madonna and Kylie Minogue are icons of the gay community.
If Wentworth was a straight man he wouldn’t have been too pleased about the implications of the paparazzi pictures with actor MacFarlane.

I believe you have completely overestimated the power of Wentworth Miller here. It is absolutely ridiculous for anyone to say that Wentworth coming out of the closet (if indeed he is in the closet) will endanger the livelihood of co-workers and potentially cancel a popular TV show! C’mon!!

First, the folks over at Fox may be a little narrow-minded and tipped to the right side of “fair and balanced” but they are not idiots. If Wentworth lost his mind and required commitment to an insane asylum indefinitely, the creative minds would find a way to continue and finally end this show. Why? Because they are making money off an entire show, not just one man. Be assured, profit is their bottom line. Insert *Disclaimer* I’m not implying that a show without Wentworth would be worth watching, I’m simply saying the show could go on if such a situation arose.

Second, I must comment on this middle America you speak of. Do you honestly believe this population is mostly ignorant and prejudiced? Although you may know entirely more about the composition of American social groups than I, I would have to say that your beliefs are extremely assumptive. Truth be told, many of these citizens are unbiased and probably do not give a rat’s ass who Wentworth is sleeping with.

Indulging you delusion for a moment, I would venture a guess, those living in “homophobic middle America” who would be concerned enough about this issue to tune out every week are so few in number that their absence would be easily replaced by new open-minded viewers tuning in just to see a gay actor in a lead role.
