OlderWentworth Miller Gets Upfront with FOX

Prison Break stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Amaury Nolasco and Sarah Wayne Callies promote season 4 of their drama during the 2008 FOX programming presentation at Central Park’s Trump Wollman Skating Rink in New York City on Thursday.
As reported earlier this week, Michael Rapaport joined Prison Break as a series regular, playing a government agent who has an interesting offer for Michael Scofield (Miller) and his brother (Purcell).

I agree with you Anon!!!
And I’m absolutly persuading that they bring Sara back because of “fan reaction”!!I liked the direction the show took !!… But it seems that finally it was not the authors who choos the story but the MiSa fans!!(verry sad!!)
And yeah…
They will make us believe that Susan B. was searching for a Sara sosie, cut his head and do it past for her?
Taking the risk that LJ who has attending the scene recognize that the girl is not Sara?
And above all why would Susan send the head of a girl who looks like Sara and take the risque that Lincoln recognize that it’s not her?
What is this story ?!… A joke?!
Who send the head of a unknown and try to make her past to someone you know!
Well, it’s like what Wentworth has said about the show….”it makes the unbelievable believable!”
If Prison Break become bizarre, I still watching it!!
Because I loved all the 1th, 2th and 3th seasons and hope love the 4 th too!!

The creators may have had a plan in mind when PB started, but things obviously don’t always go as planned. The initial plan was probably to kill off Dr. Tancredi at the end of S1, but they decided to keep her alive because that was best for the show, considering how well she played the part and how compelling MiSa was.
Midway through S3, SWC got pregnant and needed to be away from the show for several months…that wasn’t something that the writers had anticipated. S3 went on without her, but it was weakly written and they seemed to be treading water with the storyline. Then there was a protracted writer’s strike.
After reflecting on the direction of the show and realizing that there WAS a way for Dr. Sara to be alive, TPTB made the decision to bring her back…and I for one am ecstatic!!!
I think it’s the best possible decision for the show, and as I’ve said before, DR. SARA WILL GIVE PB A SHOT IN THE ARM!!!

Went’s joke was that SARA would slip MICHAEL a ruffie. In that case, obviously, he wouldn’t be raping anyone because he’d be out cold.
It was just a silly joke and Went didn’t mean anything by it. Geez, why do people dissect every word? Some people don’t seem to have any sense of HUMOR!

i’m agree with you ,even if i’m happy Sara’s coming back i’m also thinking that is strange that Linc doesn’t recognize her like he is an idiot ! But i’m excited too about this 4th season and i hope that writers will be clever as they were clever since the biginning of this wonderful adventure which the show is prison break…and i’m sure the character sara tancredi is still interesting for this new season and she will try to take her revenge and run after the compagny…we have seen a ‘nice’ and ‘wise’sara before,soon we’ll see a strong woman ,a well / or ill-intentionned woman ? with maybe a plan to bring the compagny down!!!

You can write to Wentworth at William Morris Agency, LA.
He will send you an signed autograph, albeit 4-5 months later.
Not sure if he reads all his fan mail but he has said on a previous occasion (a few years back) that he doesn’t receive many raunchy letters from his fans.
So if you want to get noticed, perhaps this is the way to do it !!

There is no “deblake”. It’s “to black” as in ‘fade to black.’
‘Fade to black’ is a cinematic term referring to the fadeout at the end of a motion picture. The screen goes dark.
Went’s comment meant that Michael would lose consciousness after being given a drug by Dr. Sara, so from his perspective everything goes black as the drug takes effect.
It was a joke. Of course Dr. Sara would not give him such a drug. She wanted answers from him, which he would be unable to give if he were unconscious. If she wanted to have sex with him, that’s not a drug a woman gives to a man. Can a man have sex with a woman if he’s unconscious?
Went’s joke was simply misinterpreted and/or misunderstood. The bit about the baby in the stroller was also a joke, possibly reflecting the fantasies of some fans who wanted Michael and Sara to be together.

@ Sunny, I don’t think he realised what he said. No straight man would say such a thing about Sara. Sometimes you can be caught off guard and he did it in this interview.
#168, Broaman - I do think Went is gay, but even I think you’re reaching trying to make out that ‘rufies’ comment was a Freudian slip. He was just making a silly joke which didn’t really work. It’s stupid to over-think or over-analyse it to that kind of degree.

I got the impression that when Wentworth said “And she slips me some ruffies” , by “she”he refered to Kristen not Sarah.
He started laughing while hearing what Kristen had in mind for their reunion. Sarah looked at him said “pretty much it. I mean”. He responded “And she slips me some ruffies.” while making a gesture indicating between Kristen and himself. I guess he just joked about how fans would love them to have some actions at that point, Kristen in particular.

It is curious that he would screw up the joke by saying that SHE would give HIM the micky, or ruffie, whatever…
I think what he meant to say is that HE gives HER the date rape drug and then deblake or fade to black etc.

I don’t have any problem with SWC, it’s just so dissapointing that Prison Break writers don’t have the ability to keep the show up without the MiSa story.
They could’t make such a strong plot that would make people forget about the dead characters and stay tunned to the show. That would be a challenge.
For me now, the glass is broken. Prison Break doesn’t look exciting anymore
