Wentworth Miller Gets Upfront with FOX

Went looks tired, Dom looks pissed, Amaury looks happy, Sara looks the same.

I don’t have any problem with SWC, it’s just so dissapointing that Prison Break writers don’t have the ability to keep the show up without the MiSa story.
They could’t make such a strong plot that would make people forget about the dead characters and stay tunned to the show. That would be a challenge.
For me now, the glass is broken. Prison Break doesn’t look exciting anymore :-(

“Rumours about the hunky actor’s sexuality sweep Hollywood again

The gay gossip surrounding Wentworth Miller has deepened after he was spotted
with a man rumoured to be his boyfriend, Canadian actor Luke MacFarlane.

As talk intensifies, people are now saying the Prison Break actor may be ready
to come out of the closet as his relationship with Luke - the openly gay
ex-boyfriend of Grey’s Anatomy actor T.R Knight - gets more intimate.

The pair did nothing to counter the rumours after they were seeing enjoying an
all-day outing that stretched long itno the night.

Looking relaxed and happy, Wentworth, 35, and a 27 year-old Luke strolled around
a footpath in LA recently, wearing matching khaki trousers and thongs, their
strides perfectly in sync. The cosy-looking couple laughed and chatted as they
walked, obviously enjoying each other’s company.

Later that evening, they were spotted in a car, with Luke in teh driver’s seat
and Wentworth on the passenger side casually crossing his legs and playing with
his mobile phone.

Insiders say the sightings have led to a new outbreak of rumours about
Wentworth’s sexuality. “Talk that he is secretly gay has exploded,” says an
insider. “Everybody is talking about his sudden willingness to be seen in
public with Luke and what it means.”

And the source adds that the actor may be on his way to coming out. “Wentworth
sure looks like he’s taking baby steps out of the closet,” says the insider.
“He’s been seen around town with his ‘close friend’ Luke for weeks now. The
rumour mill has gone into overdrive!”

Wentworth has previously acknowledged the persisten rumours, but has denied the
stories are true. “No, I’m not gay,” he said in January this year. “I know these
rumours are out there… I’m cool with the fact that they exist. I mean, this is
about fantasy. Certain people are going to have certain fantasies.”

But while Wentworth has previously denied the rumours, insiders now say that was
purely because he was still only a small-time star and not secure enough of his
celebrity status to come out.

“Look, who can blame the guy,” says the insider. “He was an up-and-comer in the
business when he got lucky with Prison Break.”

The insider adds that Wentworth has no shame about his gay status, but was
concealing it for the sake of his show’s ratings in conservative middle America.

“Wentworth is not ashamed or embarassed at all about being gay,” says the
insider. “He’s kept quiet and denied being gay for the show’s sake so far. But
that was before he fell in love with Luke.”

Now, the insider says, the actor is making it clear he’s ready to be more open
about his relationship, in party because of Luke’s reassurance.

“He’s encouraging him to just come out and get it over with,” says the isider.
“Luke is out and proud, and he would want people to know the truth. Showing up
with Luke in publlic and letting their picture be taken together must mean
Wentworth is tired of pretending to be straight when he’s in a serious
relationship.”

However, insiders also say he’s likely to still be torn between coming out about
his sexuality and pretending to be straight for the sake of his career.

“He’s probably being pulled in two directions,” explains the insider. “There’s
no doubt the TV network is desperate to keep his sexuality under wraps. His
boyfriend and all of his friends who know the truth about him are urging him to
be honest. They say even though there’s a lot to lose, he’ll feel better about
himself in the long run.”

lol, are you serious? Tell that to Tom and Katie, Eva and Tony, Jen Aniston, Brad and Angie, JC and Chase, Jessica Simpson, etc. Mags/blogs create elaborate fake stories all the time! It sells and gets hits. The truth is often quite boring. Even Jared plays up titles on his blog, and adds names to make things more relevant and interesting.

I’m not saying that Went can’t possibly be gay, however, no one has provided any proof to this. I’m sorry, but walking with a gay man does not make one gay (fyi-they share the same manager). By that assumption, Went walking with a woman must mean he’s straight too.

Oh, yeah, I love that clip too although it does seem a bit scripted.

I’m glad to see SWC back. We’ve missed her. A lot!

SWC is a good friend and she knows (like all his friends and family) that Wentworth is gay. Imagining that SWC could be in love with Went is complete bullshit and totally stupid.

That is exactly what I heard from another insider - she particularly emphasized that Went is not at all ashamed of his homosexuality, is completely comfortable in his own skin, but has been playing the game at the behest of the network and for what is perceived as the good of the show.

He takes his responsibilities with regard to the success of “PB” extremely seriously - including feeling responsible for the jobs of all the people that work on it - and does not want to do anything to jeopardize that. Given the homophobic attitudes of much of Middle America, I think it’s completely understandable he’s nervous and cautious on this issue.

Obviously the burden became almost unbearable to him during his relationship with Luke, and he’s now playing the game in the most limited way possible (”No comments” to personal questions, etc). The telling thing will be what happens after “PB” ends. From recent comments he’s made, it seems pretty clear he is keen for this coming one to be the last season.

In spite of what was posted above, plenty of his and the show’s fans (including the straight girls) are anxious for this too. The show has clearly run its course.

“I like French women”. Sonia, he means he likes women from Paris and their style. I am sure Wentworth likes women, he loves his Mom and sisters, he has a lot of female friends like Amy or Mariana.

But it doesn’t mean he wants to have SEX with them. Lots of gay men love or admire women: Mariah Carey, Madonna and Kylie Minogue are icons of the gay community.
If Wentworth was a straight man he wouldn’t have been too pleased about the implications of the paparazzi pictures with actor MacFarlane.

Private or not, he would have addressed the issue.
He never did.
