Wentworth Miller Gets Upfront with FOX
Prison Break stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Amaury Nolasco and Sarah Wayne Callies promote season 4 of their drama during the 2008 FOX programming presentation at Central Park’s Trump Wollman Skating Rink in New York City on Thursday.
As reported earlier this week, Michael Rapaport joined Prison Break as a series regular, playing a government agent who has an interesting offer for Michael Scofield (Miller) and his brother (Purcell).

@Sonia, English is not your first language, obviously. “He was sold to us “is AN EXPRESSION, a colloquialism, which means he was “PRESENTED to us” as a straight man in interviews. Rumors preceded the pictures with MacFarlane and came from different sources, not just PerezHilton.
The photos were just a confirmation and Wentworth ’s attitude has done nothing to prove them wrong.
I don’t know what your agenda is, Sonia, but you have a prejudice against gay people, no doubt.. While my only purpose,(like some other people’s here) is to ask for an end those LIES planted by his agent.

On Wentworth’s preference for men or women…so what! Whoever he is with I’m sure they are very happy. = ) Who wouldnt and it should not matter anyways. His job is to entertain us with his talents not who he’s dating, sleeping with. Gosh…give it a rest people.
PLEASE, if WENTWORTH MILLER is GAY, RESPECT HIM and DON’T JUDGE HIM.
COMING OUT is a difficult step as our society is still NOT as advanced as it appears to be.
Every gay person has to be emotionally and socially ready to reveal his true orientation. Not everyone can do it, some people never find the strength to come out.
It’s even more difficult for a personality like an actor whose career may be at stake.
Be TOLERANT if you are a real fan and please don’t judge him as a liar.

I believe you have completely overestimated the power of Wentworth Miller here. It is absolutely ridiculous for anyone to say that Wentworth coming out of the closet (if indeed he is in the closet) will endanger the livelihood of co-workers and potentially cancel a popular TV show! C’mon!!
First, the folks over at Fox may be a little narrow-minded and tipped to the right side of “fair and balanced” but they are not idiots. If Wentworth lost his mind and required commitment to an insane asylum indefinitely, the creative minds would find a way to continue and finally end this show. Why? Because they are making money off an entire show, not just one man. Be assured, profit is their bottom line. Insert *Disclaimer* I’m not implying that a show without Wentworth would be worth watching, I’m simply saying the show could go on if such a situation arose.
Second, I must comment on this middle America you speak of. Do you honestly believe this population is mostly ignorant and prejudiced? Although you may know entirely more about the composition of American social groups than I, I would have to say that your beliefs are extremely assumptive. Truth be told, many of these citizens are unbiased and probably do not give a rat’s ass who Wentworth is sleeping with.
Indulging you delusion for a moment, I would venture a guess, those living in “homophobic middle America” who would be concerned enough about this issue to tune out every week are so few in number that their absence would be easily replaced by new open-minded viewers tuning in just to see a gay actor in a lead role.

He farted in an elevator?!! That’s hilarious…if it’s true. But since there were other people there,who’s to say it was him? Did someone sniff his ass? Forgive that last question, but seriously, who’s to say? Anyway, the thing about him lacking class, that’s ridiculous. He seems very cultured to me and most probably the rest of the world.
