Jennifer Aniston takes on the role of mother-of-three while filming new scenes for her upcoming movie Marley & Me in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday.
Also in the scene with Jen, who plays Jennifer Grogan, was costar Owen Wilson, who plays the father, John Grogan.
Marley & Me, based on the memoir by John Grogan, is about a family that learns important life lessons from their adorable, but naughty and neurotic dog.

Is it botox that makes her face change from Wed to Fri. She was looking very sickly in those pictures of her shopping in NY. Now she looks fine. There has to something dangerous about using botox that much.

Hey, if she doesn’t want kids, fine. She’d be a rotten mother anyway. But at least she should have been up front with her ex and told him from the get-go she didn’t want children, rather than string him along with lies and bullshít for five years before he finally caught on to what a fake she is and dumped her ass for a woman who has made him happy. There is NOTHING WRONG not having kids. After 4 years of marriage and if they couldn’t conceive, there was always adoption. At least one person in that marriage was open to the idea, as we all know now. So who wasn’t willing to become a parent? Stop being in delusion and open your eyes. She duped you.
This movie is about a stupid dog. Aniston and Owen just hit rock bottom working with kids and animals, I hope the kids and the dog out shine these two losers. Let me explain, it may take a while…………Seeing how Jen was the one cheated on and dumped, I could never understand the hatred towards her either. They hate her because she is the symbol of the unfaithful husband BRAD PITT that lingers behind where he threw her away like yesterdays trash. She HAS to be made into a villain/ shrew so PITT (their idol and Angie the one he cheated with) can come out of this innocent and pure some how. But, nahhh… we all have long memories and we know who did what to whom. So in an attempt to make Jen the guilty one and Pitt the innocent one they must continue to run her into the ground faithfully so people will turn against her, and think highly of Pitt. But, most people have their score cards.
Also, if Pitt did this to his first wife, how likely is he to do this to Jolie? Well, like Dr. Phil says, a good predicator of future behavior is PAST behavior. I think this movie is going to be really popular. Alot of people have read the book and say it’s great. Jen and Owen are adorable, if the script’s a good one, this could be a big hit.
I’m really looking forward to it, that’s for sure. She looks great. She played a great mom in Iron Giant, loved her in that. She’s able to do that everywoman thing so well, she makes it look easy. But it’s really hard to make a regular mom seem interesting. She can. The hallmark of a good actor is you can’t see their technique - they make it look easy. example: Michael Caine, Hugh Grant. I’m sorry for your pain and the pain of all couples who desperately want children but are unable to conceive. However, your case and Aniston’s are totally different. Your husband is standing by you because he realizes it’s not your fault that you have not given him a child.
Aniston does not want children and never did. She knew Brad Pitt wanted children and she lied her ass off telling everybody she was going to start a family with him as soon as “Friends” was over. What did she do then? She signed up to make four movies back to back. This fraud never had any intention of giving Brad a child, although she knew good and well how much he wanted one. She lied to him throughout their marriage. And when he finally realized what a fake she was, he bailed. Can you blame him? I don’t.

The difference between Ryder, Theron, Kidman, and Paltrow on the one hand, and Aniston on the other, is range. Those actresses have the range to play a wide variety of roles. Aniston is Rachel Greene, period. She simply doesn’t have the range. If she tried to get ugly, she’d only have people laughing at her.
In “Derailed” there is this scene where she is supposed to be seducing some guy on the train. One critic said that Angelina would have nailed that scene in 1.5 seconds, just by lifting an eyebrow, whereas Aniston just managed to look constipated.

I was excited to see Derailed, but the her shooting scene was so bad. I was actually embarrassed for her.
Anyone who works with kids & played water gun or laser tag has seen kids play “I’m shot, you got me” and fall to the ground. Her performance was worse than some kids play.
That why I think if she truely cares about her career over family she would be studying her butt off in between movies or during filming.
There are theater schools and professors, speech teachers, study foreign languages and people to hire to go with you if you don’t have the time to attend classes.
But she lives in LA, where tons of film schools Stratsburg and such. She could have done that during friends. Learn the method acting, 6 wk class, private tutors, they are all over HW.
That’s why it’s so weird. If you don’t want kids you don’t want them and that’s o.k. I’m cool with honesty like that.

I could think of a whole lot of things Aniston could be doing to help her career. Among them, as you said: go back to school and study her craft. Learn a foreign language.
Some other things she should do:
Read more. I’ve NEVER seen this woman with a book or a magazine or a newspaper in her hands.
Expand her outlook by traveling abroad and seeing how the rest of the world lives. She has the financial resources to travel all over the world and she doesn’t go anywhere. She sits by the pool all day long and does nothing but pose for the paparazzi.
Find a cause she believes in and get hand-on involved, not just throw a check at it every once in a while.
I think one reason her range is so limited is that she is shallow and boring, for the reasons outlined above. Another reason could be a simple lack of raw talent. But as you pointed out, she could do something to develop what talent she has, only she doesn’t. She seems to think it’s enough for her to simply be Jennifer Aniston. What she doesn’t realize is Jennifer Aniston was nobody special pre-Pitt, and now she is nobody special post-Pitt. Once and for all, she needs to let go and develop her own life. But I don’t think she has the motivation. Which will present a big problem for her in the next year or so, as the Rachel Greene type roles dry up when she hits 40 and she isn’t able to play anything else.
She is just Big Puta in Hollywood.
I feel like all this new attention she and JM are pushing up is because of the Cannes festival. I just don’t understand why can’t Jen get over it.
I feel her and JM are publicity whores manipulating the media becasuse Jen is crazy and Mayer is trying to sell his summer tour. I have lost respect for both of them. At this point I’m just so sick to dealt of Jen and John.

What real fact we do know is that two writers for Friends in a deposition (with penality of going to jail) said Jennifer (be fcukable to get ahead) Aniston offered sexual favors for more lines in a script. Jen always seems to retain her own Jen persona no matter what role she is playing. The way she dresses and acts is a constant, which isn’t a good thing for an actress. She is supposed to be a normal mother of three here, yet she looks “put together” as always, like she just came from Abercrombie. I don’t see a mother of three here. I see a spoiled actress of limited ability trying half-heartedly to act like a mother of three and failing miserably.
Two things that really amuse me - 1. people believe that just because you have a uterus - you HAVE to want or have children. Frankly, with the state this world is in environmentally, I think it is extraordinarily selfish to have children. St. Angelina is no good parent. Very rational and intelligent post. Good point about having children. All marriages are full of compromises, that is what holds many of them together; but having children is one thing there is no compromising on. You either have them or you don’t.

Aniston actually said it in an interview, so did Pitt with the kids. I know that Cox said in an interview that Brad had admitted to Aniston that he was deeply emotionally involved with Jolie. Brad stated that he did not cheat physically with Jolie. Aniston chose to believe him in saying “I chose to believe my husband”. If Aniston wanted to finish him like Brangelina fans think, she would have done it right then and there. Of whether Brad was telling the truth, only Jolie and Pitt will know that for sure.
Emotional love in itself is a big thing. Jolie admitted they fell in love while being on Mr. and Mrs. Smith. There are many ways to describe how someone cheats on another. One can look at this as cheating. Another person may not. It may not be a physical relationship but it certainly is an emotiional one that can pull someone from another and end a relationship. Jolie and Pitt on the cover of a magazine, weeks after Aniston filed for divorce is proof that he had fallen for someone else.
I don’t think Pitt handled things right. I’m not saying he wasn’t disrespectful to her. I honestly don’t think that Aniston would be happy with someone who is not fully committed in their marriage either. I think she is better off and everyone deserves to be with someone who will be true. I don’t think that if someone who is love with his co-star, regardless if it is a physical or emotional/love, is 100% committed in a marriage, do you? I don’t care about the problems in a marriage. You work them out or you get out. You don’t allow yourself to fall in love with someone else. It’s called restraint. More people should have that quality before committing in a marriage. Pitt didn’t and it shows to me a lot in his character.

The show is called Showbiz tonight and it’s on CNN. I am sure you know what I’m talking about . The segment you want to go away. Hollywood woman who seem to choose the wrong guys. Aniston and Mayer was one of the couples they talk about. This Doctor said Aniston needs to let go of her jealousy towards Brad and Angelina.. They said Aniston live and plan her life in reaction to what her ex is doing.

To be fair to Aniston, I don’t think she is planning her life in reaction to what her ex is doing with any hopes of getting him back. She knows he’s never coming back. I think her biggest concern at this point is to be visibility. She’s desperate to be recognized and she’s probably furious at Brad and Angelina getting all the publicity while she gets none. In Hollywood, if you aren’t being recognized you might as well be dead.
So last year during Cannes we had Aniston chasing Sculfor, inviting Brad Pitt’s mother over to her house and forgetting to tell her the paparazzi were lurking in the bushes waiting for the photo-op of the week, and kicking off her silly Smartwater campaign. This year during Cannes we have Aniston chasing John Mayer while launching yet another Smartwater campaign. (No more phone calls to Jane Pitt, though; I think even she realizes the Pitts don’t want to be bothered with her any longer, especially now that Angelina is having Brad’s twins.)
What Aniston needs to do to get some positive publicity is to do something that’s proactive, not reactive. For instance: launch a new Smartwater campaign while all is quiet on the J-P front (no premieres, no award ceremonies, no new babies), and announce that every cent of the profits will be donated to a fund for clean water in third world countries. That would do something to rehabilitate her image as a pathetic coat-tailer with no life of her own.
Once a divorce is filed, either side can go find his or her new love. There is no disrespect to JA, in my opinion, in BP hooking up with AJ. She accepted his ‘deal’ whatever that was and filed for divorce. The key here is ’she filed’. I agree that people should exercise restraint. And to be fair BP did, if he said he did not physically cheat on JA with AJ. I guess one can choose to look at thing one way or another, positive or negative, and JA chose to take the positive side which is believing that he exercised restraint and did not cheat.
Emotional cheating would hurt a great deal if it is prolonged and in this case it wasn’t. It is, again my opinion, similar to the married women or attached girls who ‘love’ a certain male celebrity. BP was honest to JA and for that he should be given credit.
I cannot understand the women’s attitude that a man who had split/divorced should exercise discreet with new love or wait a certain time before loving another woman. I’m a woman and had been through divorce in case you think I don’t know about divorce unless I’ve been in one.
I do think that JA’s complaint in the VF interview that BP is missing a sensitive chip was a tactic to make herself a victim. This contradicted her filing for divorce which is an action of a take charge, independent thinking woman of this century. Also her saying that BP is not the great love of her life during marriage had got to hurt BP deeply. If I were in his shoes I would. It is one thing to know your spouse feel that way, quite another to hear her telling the entire country, if not the world, that she feels that way.
I’m not choosing side here as again I’m not a fan of either one, and like you I did not find BP appealing. I also find JA mediocre an actress and Friends a lame show with mediocre actors/actresses.
But what fair is fair. They were unsuitable for each other and the marriage had ran its course. It is quite naturally for a divorce party who has yet found a new love or one that surpass the ex to feel resentful when the other moves on quickly. Lived through it and have seen too many.
Fans of both sides should stop this trashing business. They are not doing their idols any favor.
Brad left as soon as he fell in love with jolie. Brad would have been cheating if he stayed on with jenho and at the same time being in love with angie.

In response to comment #310. I did not say that no one can blame Pitt for starting up with someone else. Respectfully, please re-read my post. I am a firm believer in marriage. I don’t believe that one strays. To me, falling in love with someone else or sleeping with another while married is cheating on your partner. Some may not share my opinion, some may. Pitt and Jolie fell in love with each other while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. THIS IS WHILE PITT AND ANISTON ARE TOGETHER and BEFORE ANISTON FILES FOR DIVORCE. He began a physical relationship with Jolie just after Aniston files for divorce, (if for the sake of argument, we believe him). I think this is why there are a lot of people that have such a hard time with it. People believe that looking for love or allowing another love to enter the picture while married is cheating. That is why they blame both Pitt and Jolie. It is about people’s morals and values.
Do you remember the how people reacted when Aniston and Pitt finally broke up? The filing for divorce. People were shocked. Hollywood’s Golden couple were breaking up. Magazines and news stories were stating things like, “If these two people who were so in love with each other can’t make it work, how can anyone else even stand a chance in Hollywood?” This is when the two just got seperated. Those picture of the two of them kissing and on vacation came out at about the same time. People were trying to analize “they look like they love one another , don’t they?” Then there were those ongoing rumours about Pitt and Jolie at the same time and that was the cause for the two splitting.
When Aniston said “he was lacking a sensitivity chip”, I never thought it was for attention. Not for one moment. Aniston had been shown the magazine cover during the interview. I think she was blindsided. She also had to excuse herself during that interview. All these rumours and controversies are flying around and Pitt and Jolie do a cover of themselves as a family? Do you sincerely believe in your heart that even without mentioning anything about Brad lacking anything, people would not feel for her? I actually saw the cover first on the internet with Brad and Angelina and did not read the interview with Aniston until much later. Aniston was kind in my opinion. I had quite the reaction to it, all by my little lonesome and without Aniston’s help or words.
In my opinion, I reiterate, Pitt did not handle it well with Aniston. Again, I don’t care about his life now.

Well, she was 36 when she filed for divorced. She should restraint her emotion and handled her hurt more maturely.

And by the way, one thing about falling in love is in the purest sense, it’s natural and one can’t control it. The mature one will exercise restraint as you advocated and tie up current relationship before acting on the emotion. I think BP did this.

There had been rumors of problems in their marriage for at least a year before the actual breakup and anyone who couldn’t see that the marriage was in trouble had their heads stuck in the sand. “The golden couple” was a media invention. There was nothing golden about them but the fans ate it up anyway. I never liked Pitt until after he unloaded Aniston. I thought it was the smartest move he ever made.

Having compassion and empathy for someone is not being narrow minded. I don’t need to hear from her. Aniston was grieving and to change it into an “attention seeker”, when her whole breakup of the “Golden Couple” was nothing but in the media is not looking at it for what is really was.
