In response to comment #310. I did not say that no one can blame Pitt for starting up with someone else. Respectfully, please re-read my post. I am a firm believer in marriage. I don’t believe that one strays. To me, falling in love with someone else or sleeping with another while married is cheating on your partner. Some may not share my opinion, some may. Pitt and Jolie fell in love with each other while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. THIS IS WHILE PITT AND ANISTON ARE TOGETHER and BEFORE ANISTON FILES FOR DIVORCE. He began a physical relationship with Jolie just after Aniston files for divorce, (if for the sake of argument, we believe him). I think this is why there are a lot of people that have such a hard time with it. People believe that looking for love or allowing another love to enter the picture while married is cheating. That is why they blame both Pitt and Jolie. It is about people’s morals and values.

Do you remember the how people reacted when Aniston and Pitt finally broke up? The filing for divorce. People were shocked. Hollywood’s Golden couple were breaking up. Magazines and news stories were stating things like, “If these two people who were so in love with each other can’t make it work, how can anyone else even stand a chance in Hollywood?” This is when the two just got seperated. Those picture of the two of them kissing and on vacation came out at about the same time. People were trying to analize “they look like they love one another , don’t they?” Then there were those ongoing rumours about Pitt and Jolie at the same time and that was the cause for the two splitting.

When Aniston said “he was lacking a sensitivity chip”, I never thought it was for attention. Not for one moment. Aniston had been shown the magazine cover during the interview. I think she was blindsided. She also had to excuse herself during that interview. All these rumours and controversies are flying around and Pitt and Jolie do a cover of themselves as a family? Do you sincerely believe in your heart that even without mentioning anything about Brad lacking anything, people would not feel for her? I actually saw the cover first on the internet with Brad and Angelina and did not read the interview with Aniston until much later. Aniston was kind in my opinion. I had quite the reaction to it, all by my little lonesome and without Aniston’s help or words.

In my opinion, I reiterate, Pitt did not handle it well with Aniston. Again, I don’t care about his life now.

If I recall correctly, JA was filming the Breakup with VV. And soon after her filing she was pictured sitting on VV’s lap. If we are to use circumstantial evidences then we should conclude that she and VV fell in love during filming too.

But there’s no sense in dissecting evidences. You wrote ‘people were shocked’ and by saying ‘people’ you include me. I wasn’t shocked. It’s normal in HW first of all. Secondly, I thought BP married down with JA any way from the beginning. When tabloid first broke news that they dated, I thought it was odd. She really isn’t attractive to me. No beauty, no charisma, no talent. But hey successful men marry down would last longer than marrying their equal or better. She would settle into a wife’s role and support him so he can continue advancing his career. Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Paul Newman come to mine. All their wive retreated into the background.

As I stated before once divorce paper is filed, both sides are free to find new love. Why in hell must one wait before taking up with new love interest? This sensitivity requirement is BS and it does not do us women any good. If you want the ex to be sensitive and wait, you still want him. Why then would you filed for divorce. I know you’ll say ‘but he wanted it’. Well, you agreed, meaning you saw no chance to work thing out. Then let him go and move on. If you can’t move on, tough.

If the table were turned. It was JA who slept with her new man before picture of P&J showed up. Are you sensitivity-demanding women going to demand JA to be sensitive to BP? We wanted to be the men’s equal. That’s the feminist movement was about, wasn’t it? We got it. Then deal with defeat, failure, hurt, pain, miseries, whatever unpleasant things life throws at us the men’s way–no whining.

She wasn’t sensitive to him during marriage (this by the way, you didn’t address) in telling the world that he wasn’t her great love. And yet she wanted him to be sensitive to her when they divorced. I think she did want public sympathy when she uttered that phrase. She was hurt that he moved on so quickly. The hurt is legitimate as any unwilling divorced person would like the other to feel that he/she has made a mistake in divorcing her/him. This explains all the statements ’she looks gorgeous, B is sorry now’, ’she’s doing great and wouldn’t take him back, he’s aged’. Typical young, immature mentality. Well, she was 36 when she filed for divorced. She should restraint her emotion and handled her hurt more maturely.

Any how, I think she’s moved on. I do hope she gets what she wants.
