OlderBar Refaeli Does the Cannes Cannes
Bar Refaeli strikes a few fierce poses in some stunning gowns aboard a yacht in the Bay of Cannes in France on Friday. It’s rumored she was shooting an ad campaign for True Religion, Accessorize or Chanel Make Up. Later, Bar was seen shopping while holding hands with a female friend.
The day before, the 22-year-old Israeli supermodel was seen taking a boat ride around the Eden Roc Hotel. Bar was in town for the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
Also pictured below is Ms. Refaeli at the opening festivities of the Cannes Film Festival. Accompanying her on the red carpet was designer Alberta Ferretti, who codesigned Bar’s dress with Chopard co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele. The $700,000 gown was made from lilac silk chiffon and adorned with 2,904 carats worth of gems.

I thought she looked AMAZING in that dress at the Blindness premiere! And I love her in the green one on the yacht! Her looks seem to be so variable - sometime she looks stunning, othertimes, she looks really common and plain. Giselle looks great all the time (IMHO). I think that Bar gets all this attention because of Leo, for sure, and I think that is her main attraction to him. I mean, there is something like a 12 year age difference between them. Why would she not be with someone closer to her age? Because Leo can advance her career faster…. I can see Leo’s attraction to her, she has a nice body and is pretty. And he can boost his ego by showing off a hot, young model on his arm. Anyway, who knows - perhaps he is just really immature and they are at the same emotional maturity level? LOL!

I find it ridiculous that just because someone is not a fan of Bar means ( for some people ) that the person must be a `Giselle fan/friend`. How stupid is that? I personally don`t find neither Giselle not Bar attractive, I`m no Giselle fan or friend and I still think that Bar is not more than a pretty face who could score big and Leo is her meal ticket. She has a pretty face that wouldn`t be enough to make it in modeling if it wasn`t for her famous bf ( just as Sarah Larson and George Clooney ). Leo makes her exceptional and gives her the attention she craves.

Locfo. her accent (and her english in general) are MUCH better than Giselles accent that wa 5 years ago. If you look at some of the interviews when she speaks english she sounds coherent and articulate. Yeah she does have some accent but she is not a native English speaker. Also, she is actually quite intelligen and smartt: she mentioned in some interviews that she wants to go to university and likes to learn about different things when she is not working. So don’t judge her just by a single appearance.
How did you guys end up talking about Giselle`s accent here? Is it seriously the best you can come up with? Bar never actually did anything to show her `intellectual` side. You know like posing for the paparazzi with an actual book in her hands or something like that. One can say a lot in an interview…
And the continuous comparison to Giselle is getting boring. Move on just like Leo and Giselle did - unfortunately.
#72 please… she is no Christy Turlington. Just because she said she’d like to go to university doesn’t mean she would do it. She probably thought it would make her sound smart. Yeah, nice try. THIS girl would never leave a comfortable life to face an intellectual challenge at university. Besides I highly doubt she has the intellectual capacity to do so… in other words she is as dumb as a cup of coffee.
Bar said in a recent interview that she wants to have at least 3 kids and raise them in Israel. I find this hard to believe. She is probably saying this to appease all the people in Israel who don’t like her. There is no way she would leave the high life she has been living in NYC and Calif. to move back to Israel, and I’m sure Leo would never move to Israel.
