Matt Grant Steps Out With Shayne Lamas
British bachelor Matt Grant steps out with his fiancee Shayne Lamas at Bar 1200 in Hollywood on Friday.
This past Monday’s season finale of The Bachelor: London Calling had Matt, 27, choose Shayne over Chelsea Wanstrath.
“I know when I look in those beautiful brown eyes that you’ll always be there for me and I hope that you know that I’ll always be there for you,” Matt said on the finale. “Shayne, I love you and I have something for you. Monkey, will you marry me?”
Shayne, 22, is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas (Falcon Crest, Renegade, The Bold and The Beautiful).

I liked Matt with Amanda. Shayne’s in it for the fame. Please. I cannot see how he picked her, but then again, maybe he’s just as fake as she is.
Actually, I think they have a really good shot - they make a great couple, hope they beat the odds! Way to go Matt & Shayne!

He needs a stylist…. I noticed his attire on Ellen was sooo not appealing… just like the pic above… the unbuttoned cuffs and the shirt too tight on his puffy mid section… maybe a stylist and a trainer….
I doubt it but who knows. I do wish them well but it seems that this is a publicity and in-it-for-fame relationship. Who knows.

Oye, seeing her reminds me of a not to inclined overdone broad in Dynasty, and that’s putting it mildly. Matt’s poor taste only makes him look cheap next to her. Let them walk into the sunset forever…
Lorenzo Lamas has a poor track record when it comes to relationships. I hope that Shayne doesn’t follow suit. She seems like a nice girl.
They both seem fake and totally perfect for each other. It also seems like things could get really nasty — like Heather Mills and Paul McCartney nasty–if they have a falling out. Just my opinion.

Oddly, I think they may work…they are a quirky mix there…It is strange but I think it may at least go to marriage…and then we shall see…I really think she is too young. That is really the issue…I actually think if Matt is really 27 - he may also be a bit young…the stats for divorce are soooo high.
He needs to go to the gym and hire a stylist. She needs to go back to school. At one point on the show she said: “This could be the biggest night of Matt and I’s life”. Matt and I’s!!!???? Come on, even someone who completes the 4th grade know that “I’s” is not a word. Like most Hollywood spawn, her parents spent far too much time on the material and not nearly enough on the intellectual.
Matt really got fat. To me, they don’t look in love. They look like they are TRYING to appear as a happy couple. Shayne could have done way better than Matt. Matt looks like a lazy Brit trying to hold onto his meal ticket. Shayne looks repulsed by him and his slovenly appearance. I don’t see them getting married. Why does Matt look so drunk and old? He looks like he has aged a decade dating her.
i’ve watched the bachelor from the start and this is the 1st time the one i chose is the one the bachelor chose so i believe they’ll be together forever plus the couple is adorable Matt is soo HOTT and Shayne is Beautiful

These pictures look staged to me. I cannot see this relationship working very long at all; I sure wouldn’t want my fiance/husband calling me “monkey” ~ that would grow old very quickly!! And to Katie N. ~ I heard and read that Byron and Mary got in a huge fight last Thanksgiving Day and SHE assaulted him. He called 911 and she was arrested!!! Haven’t heard a peep since about either one of them. All I know is they were living together in Florida when this happened.

Reading these comments it sure sounds like there are a lot of jealous people around here! They are so cute together and I hope they are having fun!! People stop the hating and negative comments, it doesn’t show much about your character. I really liked them on the bachelor, and i really liked shayne… but ever since winning the bachelor, i don’t know something’s off. she poses for girls gone wild??? i mean, granted she didn’t show anything, but GIRLS GONE WILD? Not very classy. and now, i don’t know, she just seems like an entirely different person. i guess that’s the actress in her. i want to root for this couple to last… but now i don’t know. i give it 6 months. any takers? First, I would like to say to all fans of the show, this is not a show where you pick who gets who. It’s not up to us whether they stay together or not. We can write our opinion as you see. He picked Shyane, get over it! Shyane was not the drama queen, if anyone was it was Marshana! I can’t believe he kept her on for so long, she was fake from the start. Stacy, underwear girl was funny as heck! She should make a commercial of underwear’s! Erin H. was full of herself! trying to bust her events in Seattle? Chelsea, please grow up, you had your chance and lost. Saying Shyane, was fake at the end, was not your way of stay was it? You will find your true love someday! He called her monkey, because she showed him tongs of affection. That’s what he wanted from a women as well, he said it many times. Chelsea hardly did. The whole hand thing, please! I’m sure you pick your nose Chelse. They were not on something, stupid, haven’t you ever took a picture where it doesn’t come out nice (or your eyes closed)?

I watched the whole season and loved Shayne as soon as she first talked to Matt. They seemed to have a great chemistry. I hope they have a great love story to look back on. I hope they have a wonderful life. I also hope we get to see more of them.
I was so so excited at first because it seemed that Matt wanted true love, but the more the show progressed, the more he fell for the wanna-be starlet, who seems so fake it’s ridiculous. I was thinking this was the year I was going to believe in the show, and I fell for it all over again.
I think that Matt is too good for her and I do believe she is in it for the publicity. Did you see her at the end of the Bachelor when she gave him the pic? This is the greatest gift that I will ever give you? Are you kidding me? What about better gifts, not her naked butt, that is how she won him, the naked pics on the beach. Ya think, he is a man. It was really late when that picture was taken. Maybe they did have too much to drink, who cares, it’s their business. People don’t give her enough credit. She’s not a dumb blonde. I agree with the #4 comment by Oh Snap! They do look VERY stoned. I thought Matt had more going for him. I was disappointed in his choice. If he really is ready to settle down, you don’t do it with a girl of 22. She is far too you and all the pictures of her scream Bimbo Barbie at me.
