I think I know why the haters are losing their minds and bringing up Angie’s pictures on her balcony this weekend. They thought that she (and of course Brad) would be soooo humiliated and embarassed by those pics that they would not show their faces out again before Tuesday. Only now they’re seeing that Brad and Angie are stronger than ever and are enjoying themselves no matter what. They were out earlier with their kids, and now they’re out with each other on a date. Hey guli. It’s good to hear from you. I think when I say this I might be speaking for most of the jolie/pitt fans. I have never followed movie stars in the past. I had some favorites who movies I would go see, or read about in the magazines. But never like I follow or look forward to seeing or reading about this two. And it is not just about their physical looks either.

There is just a depth of purpose with these two. From their adopting children in dire need to their humanitarian causes, their supporting of one another, their movies, and how both of them have changed over the years to become better, stronger, more caring people. I am proud to be a fan. I don’t worship or idolize them. But I do respect them. I care for them and their family because so many are constently trying to bring them down. And I pray that they will continue to be blessed and will continue to do good. There is no couple like them in HW. They are special and I love that about them. Peace

While other Hollywood stars have jetted in to the film festival to promote their latest movies, Law has a far weightier mission.

The 35-year-old actor, star of Alfie and The Talented Mr Ripley, has teamed up with Jeremy Gilley, a British film-maker, to call for an annual day of peace on which a ceasefire will be observed across the world.

Their efforts are charted in a documentary, The Day After Peace, which had its world premiere at the festival. Footballer David Beckham, actress Angelina Jolie and singer Annie Lennox all appear in the film.

Mr Gilley has spent the past 10 years campaigning on the issue and succeeded last year in establishing an international Peace Day, endorsed by the United Nations, on September 21.

Law is an ambassador for the cause and the film shows him travelling to Afghanistan, where the Taliban agreed to observe the day by allowing health officials to enter villages and vaccinate 1.4 million children against polio.

“If Peace Day can be recognised in Afghanistan of all places, then it can be recognised anywhere,” Law said at the film’s launch.

The actor told how he was moved by the courage of schoolgirls in Afghanistan who risked death by going to school, where female education is banned.

“These girls were just 11 or 12 and they were unbelievably inspiring. Each of them stood up and declared their hopes for the future. Each of them wanted to be a teacher or a doctor. They were risking their lives every day to go to school. There was such a sense of boldness and pride in them that I was reduced to tears.”

Law will return to Afghanistan this year for a screening of the film.

According to Gilley, 27.6 milion people from 200 countries participated in the inaugural Peace Day last year.

He said: “I can hear the cynics saying this day will never work, it is just symbolism, what’s the point? But I don’t want to live the rest of my life thinking that peace isn’t possible. And the only way to change people’s minds is to demonstrate that it is possible. We have demonstrated that and proved it categorically on September 21st  that even groups like the Taliban will acknowledge the day.”

Corporate giants Coca Cola and Puma have lent their support to the cause.

A new video said to be of Angelina Jolie when she was 23 shows the actress hanging out in a drug den talking about sadomasochistic sex as a woman next to her appears to casually smoke heroin.

Jolie, now 32, does not take any drugs herself in the video, which appears on the Web site for the U.K. tabloid the Sun. But she does talk about taking part in sex games where someone is tied down or hurt.

Two+ years, three biological children. And they “came together because… to save the world, awareness of the poor, the orphans, the world issues, etc., etc..

Wonder how many more third world children they can manage to adopt after the twins (the fifth and sixth children) are born. Maybe this will be the end, or the beginning of the end, of their “mission” to save the world.

I believe “saving the world” was her true passion. Having biological children and nothing more was his. Then they worked together, and she got swept away and now, she’s there happily making and carrying all the babies that he had been hoping to have.

That is absolutely insane. It’s so funny to me that in two places that have the reputation of being blase about celebs and too cool to care - NYC and France - they Jolie-Pitts have been MOBBED like no celeberity ever before.
