Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get in some alone time together, romantically holding hands as they leave their hotel in Cannes, France on Monday.
Angie, 32, wore a strapless floor-grazing gown by Nicole Miller and accessorized with a Bally bag.

Okay, Angie has appeared in videos by Bono (and Edge), Rolling Stones and Meatloaf. I wonder if he’s in Cannes? Everybody who has worked with her continues to want to work with her or have dinner, I guess.

Just spoke to a British journalist who’s just come out of Clint Eastwood’s The Exchange. “Absolutely first-rate,” he said. “It’s long” — 141 minutes — “but it’s very strong, very moving. There’s not a weak point in the entire film.” Like Mystic River before, which also dealt with a missing child and the violations that result, The Exchange is a genre piece — a kidnapping whodunit, set in 1928 — but, the journo said, Eastwood mines the material for a good deal of “complexity and emotional depth.”
Angelina Jolie, he emphasized, “is very, very good,” he said. Ditto John Malkovich as an activist minister who helps Jolie’s character, Christine Collins, uncover the truth of what’s really happened to her kidnapped son. J. Michael Straczynski’s script hammers the old-time LAPD for the corruption that was rife in that period, but “its much more of woman’s film,” the Brit emphasized. “And much more than what the plot suggests.”
Eastwood “is amazing,” he said. “He just keeps getting and better the older he gets. What is he…close to 80 now? I think he might pull of a Best Director win next weekend.”

Hey guli. It’s good to hear from you. I think when I say this I might be speaking for most of the jolie/pitt fans…. it is not just about their physical looks either.
There is just a depth of purpose with these two. …. I am proud to be a fan. I don’t worship or idolize them. But I do respect them….

Dina #1…I couldnt have said it better myself. I relate to EVERY WORD YOU SAID. I was never a ‘fan’ of anyone in hollywood like this….I wasnt even a fan of Angie or Brad SEPERATELY before they got together…however, once they became a couple…its like they became some NEW ENTITY THAT BRINGS INSPIRATION, LOVE, BEAUTY, JOY, and ENTERTAINMENT (VIA THEIR MOVIES) INTO THE WORLD. I know it sounds kinda sappy…but I am totally in awe of them. I dont worship them, but I KNOW they are a force for good in this world, so I support them 1000%, will defend them to anyone, and I am PROUD TO BE A FAN OF SUCH INDIVIDUALS…
Especially since they appreciate their fans so much, and I know that by supporting them, some of the money I use to see their movies, buy their film…etc…a portion of their money is helping to support worthy causes.
Jolie-Pitt fans are the luckiest fans in the world, and I also think we are very intelligent and caring, so I hope we true JP fans can one day get together and show support in a much more organized and helpful way on a consistent basis….we’ll see.

She is really drop dead gorgeous. Brad is so proud with Angie at his side. Who isn’t when he has the most beautiful woman as the mother of his children?
