Gwyneth Paltrow Does the Cannes Cannes
Gwyneth Paltrow cuts a striking figure in Chanel at the screening of her new film Two Lovers at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Monday in Cannes, southern France.
Two Lovers is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Joaquin Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor (Paltrow).
Joining Gwyn, 35, on the red carpet was director James Gray, Italian designer Valentino, Israeli actor Moni Moshonov and US actress Vinessa Shaw.

People you are being ridiculous. She isn’t 25 anymore. She’s been through a lot–her father died, and she has been pregnant and given birth twice. This ages you a lot. She’s going to be 36!!!! So yes, she has aged in that respect.
I agree–those who criticise are insecure with themselves.
Chris doesn’t have to be here to support her. They don’t want that–it’s a personal agreement they have made with each other. It’s disgusting some of you still aren’t over that. I totally get why they don’t want to walke the red carpet together. They don’t want their great marriage in the spot light.
Why fix something if it isn’t broken?
She looks good. Not my type of beauty, but her style choices have been really interesting lately.

The reason that she doesn’t want her husband to be there besides it’s sort of their agreement (whatever… rolling my eyes), it’s also because her monkey look like husband is too shabby to be among all those glamous MOVIE STARS whom she feels she is one of them — but he is not.

Not a fan of the dress, I think it’s boring and I always look forward to the red carpet stuff being fabulous. However, I think she looks better then she has in a few years :)
I usually hate her but she looks really good here.
She looks beautiful in these pictures.
1. Gwyn looks nice except for the dress.
2. Her hubby is not shabby! He’s much younger than she and is tall and handsome. And its his own business whether to come to the Cannes or not.
3. Good for Joaquin Phoenix not to come to the festival. Here’s one only actor with tact and compassion.

she only looks nice neck up. i like her hair, makeup and jewels but that dress doesnt work. the colour is nice but the design isnt flattering- especially how she’s very flat- chested. i like her shoes though even though they’re killer!
I agree Gwyneth is overrrated!
