OlderJanet Jackson Announces “Rock with U” Concert Tour
Janet Jackson announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday that after a 7-year hiatus, she’s returning to the stage for her “Rock with U” Concert Tour.
“I’m here to kick off my ‘Rock With U’ tour,” Janet shared. “Our first show is September 10. And I’ve set up a number for fans to call in and to leave what old/new songs you’d like to hear [at the concert]. The number’s 323-622-8139. Give me a call and let me know!”
The entire Ellen audience got two tickets each to Janet’s concert. SOOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!!!
Ellen also asked Janet if there’s going to be a Jackson 5 reunion. Janet was optimistic: “I hope so. I’ve been really pushing my brothers and having conference calls and working on it.”

This is sort of interesting. Her tours are always so weird. I don’t know if you know this, but she can barely sing. And when she goes on tour, the crowd is singing for half the show. I’ll wait for the TIna and Madonna concerts, thank you very much.

honestly, Madonna? I don’t even understand why that lady is considered a legend? She thrusts her pelvis, acts like a ***** on stage and barely sings and has a 1 octave range? she’s crap! She is using hip hop so she can stay relevant when the girl doesn’t even know a dang thing about the history or culture… pretty much a corporate *****… Janet Jackson, doesn’t really care to try and work with the hottest producers just to stay relevant… she goes with what she feels not with what she thinks is going to sell the best… anywho… JANET is AMAZING in concert!

I’ve seen her in concert twice. Granted, she could afford to learn some new dance routines because that RN dance thing is getting pretty tired, but just because I think that doesn’t mean I’m racist….Get over it. Janet Jackson has a very nice voice! It’s not the best, but it’s not the worst. She’s obviously a very talented women considering she’s won six grammys, 31 billboard awards, 12 american music awards, and the list goes on and on. Haters need to sit down. Janet Jackson is a musical legend she paved the way for Beyonce, Ciara, Rihanna, and all those other girls even Britney Spears has copied Janet. Britney and Christina both say Janet is a legend and an idol of theirs. So people need to give Janet respect. Janet is a legend and I am so tired of people putting the woman down get a life. Janet is amazing here is a woman that has a very famous brother that is also a superstar but she became a legend on her own. Very few entertainers can say this but Janet can.

If you read what I said, I am also white and love Janet. But I do think her dance routines and even concerts are getting a little stale and tired. She uses the same choreography over and over. Come up with a different dance routine. Give me something new!!! Just because I, as a white person, has that opinion doesn’t make me a racist or “tearing down janet.” as ME stated.

Janet is THE BEST FEMALE PERFORMER period and her concerts are always the best. If you’ve never seen Janet on Tour then you just need to hush because you have no idea what your talking about. And,it doesn’t matter whether she has a hit out right now or not…………………. she can still perform circles around a Madonna,Mariah,Beyonce and any other female artists you want to bring up to throw shade.
