Jude Law @ Cannes Film Festival 2008
Jude Law joins director pal Jeremy Giley at the photocall for their new movie, The Day After Peace, at the Majestic Beach Pier during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Monday in Cannes, France .
Last year, Jude and Jeremy traveled to war-town Afghanistan to help promote the United Nation’s annual Peace One Day (POD), their annual day of worldwide cease-fire and nonviolence envisioned by Jeremy.
The Day After Peace charts his campaign for a non-violence day from the beginning. His journey features Jonny Lee Miller, David Beckham and Jude.

this is how i feel….you are all going to judge jude law by a couple of photographs. you all must be sages or seers. you see….i have more respect for him. i want him to live his own life. i will not judge jude law by the sun’s photographs. he deserves better than that. we may have our fantasies about him. he may live up to them or not…..but i will not intrude on his personal life…..it’s his life not ours.

About the pics of him with Kim Stewart, the way I see it, the only thing he’s guilty of is not being careful enough in this age of the cell-phone camera.

I gotta add — the public’s (including the fans’) obsession with Jude’s private life is society’s problem, not Jude’s. He’s entitled to live his private life; that means sleeping with whomever he wants; without the public commenting on it and taking photos where he clearly thought was a private place. Naive he may be, but that’s nothing to condemn him for. He’s supposed to be some shining knight? He’s supposed to sleep only with specially appointed virgins to keep up with the public image? Geez… no thanks. I like Jude just as he is, the whole package. At least he’s a lot more interesting than any of those PR-packaged stars. Never a dull moment with Jude.
@ #33 Giuliano, I’m pretty sure he shaved his chest hair for his latest movie The Repossession Mambo. He hates shaving so I’m sure it’ll grow back soon.

Jude is entitled to live his private life. However when Jude goes out to a night club and his girlfriend grabs his macadamia’s in public. People are gonna talk.

have i told you lately how much i love you. you’re right …..people that don’t understand that even though he is a celebrity he’s just a human being entitled to live his life the way he chooses to. frankly i am thrillecd with those photos….because when i have my jude fantasies it’ll be me not kim….to see the passion on jude’s face and know that it wasn’t for a movie made my day….that man is sex on a stick….you go jude …do your thing……

after mulling this over for 24 hrs., I’ve come to the conclusion that at least it’s her hand on his crotch instead of his hand on her crotch. It’s ****** enough as it is - but that would have been beyond gross.
He’s gonna have to face the music & fess up the next time an interviewer asks him about Ms. Kim. That’ll be interesting…..

Some points to remember: the whole story is form a tabloid paper not known for its veracity. On close examination her hand is only resting against his leg at a crowded bar, there are no witnesses to’the part of the story about them rolling around the lawn in the middle of the night. A Tempest in a teapot. Two single unattached people out on a date kissing at a nite club. How commomplace but if you are Jude law nothing can be commonplace and if he was with you or I, it]

The SUN is indeed not known for its veracity but this is a picture and not a comment or a judgement! A picture is a thousand words and in this case you cannot blame the messenger!!
On top of that it is the price you have to pay when you are famous, you can’t have attention turned on you only when you wish it to, you are exposed, so you need to be careful! if you don’t want your personal life on the tabloids it is easy! be a bit causious! I don’t think is a high price to pay!! If a celebrity doesn’t want to be caught he just will not!
He could make out will whomever he wanted to and noone would ever have found out, but if you go out to a club and start kissing it is expected that this will happen! So I think he would have no right to complain - he made his bed and he ‘d have to sleep in it!!
I don’t remember who made a comment about his actions not being concistent to the profile he gives out when interviewed!
This is soooo true and I totaly agree, everyone keeps talking about his looks but what I though special about him is his personality that made him as a whole an attractive man!

Which personality do mean, Nat? We don’t even know him personally! He might or might not be in love with Kim. May be he enjoyed himself and having one go! Is that making him having a bad personality? He doesn’t abandon his children, he works hard, he delivered what I like the most : acting, and he is single!
I saw many people snogging on the street, in the subway, in the buses, steamy kisses every where….is that making them bad people? He is not a monk, and he doesn’t pretend to be one, somebody said. And I agree!
What I regret the most, is, that it was not me.
