Sorry - Cook was so much better. American Idol is so out of touch. Based on what I saw tonight - from the judges comments, we have another Taylor Hicks. How many of the past Idol winner’s have been dropped from their label. I’m done - David Cook - You were flawless and David Archuwhatever - you sang the same songs over again and they were the same - AGAIN. Hope Clive Davis doesn’t mind dropping you in a year. David Cook - Hope you sign else where and WHEN you do, hope you make MILLONS!

David Archuleta is the most marketable, because he appeals to all ages. Whereas Cook, even though I like him quite a bit, has more of a young adult sound. He sounds like your typical good rocker. Cook will be very successful, but David Archuleta will beat him hands down. As Simon said he knocked Cook out.

let me ask a question here about american idol. The media is claiming that american idol keeps gaining popularity. However the media owns American Idol, IE. fox owns the media and american idol, so can you really trust what we’re being told about this show. Hasn’t american idol had it’s day and isn’t it time for a new show? I don’t believe for one second this show is gaining anything, other then the media outlets blowing up it’s ratings so that people say, boy I should watch this.
it doesn’t matter who wins. david cook will have an awesome career. david archuleta will not. simple as that. he has no stage presence or personality. he is bland, bland, bland.
voting for cook. he deserves to win, in my opinion.

and just where is taylor hicks today? what is he doing? i could never figure out why the heck he won in the first place.
ppl say that the only reason why david A is still here is bc hes popular and cute. even if he was that, he wouldn’t be in the top 2 for just those two reasons. if you are in the top 2, you really deserve to be there, and both davids are talented. i really like both, and at first i thought david Cook would win but after tonites show david archuleta was amazing. What’s really awesome about this year is that its soo unpredictable, you really don’t know WHO will win. I am soooo excited for tomorrow night so see who wins! :P
what’s really sad is that david archuleta can’t even talk. the poor kid gets all tongue tied and laughs and talks at the same time. i’ve never heard him utter a complete sentence. i absolutely cringe when he speaks. for him to ever have any kind of career he will need to hire a speech coach and someone to overhaul his personality–as in create one for him.
