David A is boring - Idol needs to realize they are 3 clicks away from being the next high school musical with Archuletta - Maybe he shoud move to Orlando - his dad fits in already….David Cook is so much better - SO.MUCH.BETTER.

David Archuleta was the best tonight! He’s gonna win!

Simon was harsh on David Cook, but I still love him.

Man i’m watching the last performance right now ..

Archuleta .. AMAZING! his voice is incredible .. and he definitley got the praises from the judges .. Simon Cowell is really influential the fact that he basically said he won the night is going to influence a lot of people.. Here’s the problem with David A though.. As great of a singer he is .. He doesn’t look like a star.. he doesn’t look CONFIDENT as Cook does.. He looks like a kid who’s just living his dream .. which he is .. BUT an American Idol has to be the whole package.. He’s got the voice down.. the cuteness down .. the girls screaming fan base down.. BUT just think of how he’ll present himself in interviews.. He stumbles over his words a lot .. He has to act more like a Star you know?

David Cook .. i actually really really liked him.. In my opinion i can definitley see Cook in the industry right now … He’s got his identity already .. We know he’s the rocker guy .. and He pulls it off really well .. Tonight he could’ve chosen better songs to get Simon to go a long with him .. But you can tell that despite whatever happens and despite who wins he could potentially have a great rock album out .. And he seems more sure of himself and more confident than Archuleta..

So tomorrow night who ever wins i think will be a shock no matter what .. No one can really know .. What i do know is that Archuleta did absolutely amazing tonight .. he really showcased his voice .. And Cook did good for me .. usually with each season i pretty much know who will win .. But this one is just WAY too close .. It’s crazy

Despite who wins Both will make it .. and both will be successful .. Cook will be a success with the rock industry and Archuleta will be successful with the pop .

Wow! Archuleta gave a tremendously stunning performance!
I totally expected Cook to win the night, because of his maturity and great rock talent. But Amazingly Archuleta was not intimidated. He held his ground, didn’t give an inch, and stood out as the phenomenal winner tonight! His talent and beautiful vocal ability seemed to explode with each song in a brilliant performance.
I am in my late 50’s. Several of my friends have expressed how captivating this particular season has been and that they , too, have become Archuleta fans. Never before this season have I voted. But I have felt to support this unusually gifted young man with my votes. It was a stunning finish to a great season. What a pleasure to witness how mature and professional Archuleta’s performances were this evening. He definitely deserves to win the title of Amercan Idol!

I have to say that David Archuleta did very well tonight. But at this point in the competition, no one will be changing who they are voting for or who their favorites are because of these performances.

I have to say that David Cook is more marketable. On the big name radio stations, they will most likely play Cook’s songs than Archuleta’s ballads. He doesn’t really seem to change to mainstream modern music very well. Remember his “With You” cover by Chris Brown last week? Not the best.

And some of you are fighting over “Archuleta only does ballads” and “Cook only does rock songs.” The thing is Cook was able to change songs that weren’t rock into his style successfully (”Always Be My Baby). Archuleta not so much.

I did start out as a David Archuleta fan… but now I am all about DAVID COOK!!!

If David Cook wins… I’m going to buy his album the day it comes out. If David Archuleta wins… I’m still going to buy David Cook’s album the day it comes out.

Both of them will go far.
