David Archuleta sings nothing but wimpy ballads, whereas DC can sing both ballads and rock songs. Can Archie do that ? I don’t think so, he just tries to play it safe, like when he sang “Imagine”. I loved DC’s comment to Simon when he said he didn’t want tio sing the same song unlike stupid David A.
i’ve officially voted for David A like 20 times in 10 minutes. then i’m doing 10 minutes for David C .. i can’t decide who to pick

Both of them are going to do great in their lives they are good and very different. Archuleta showed to everybody that he has an amazing unique voice, and he did sing like a pro. They both did a good job.
I was impressed with A. I never liked him but today he won my heart. :)

David Archuleta = Same song, different lyrics. He can do one thing and one thing only. He’s no David Cook. If Archuleta wins it will only prove that AI really has no validity anymore. Studdard, Barrino, Hicks, Sparks…need I say more? Cook is WAY more marketable!

Wow, Archuleta gets bashed by Cook fans a lot, but I RARELY read a nasty comment about Cook from an Archie fan on JJ.
The bashing must be fueled by the fact that Cook fans know David C screwed up tonight and has lost to Archuleta for the AI title.
Doesn’t really matter. Number 1 and Number 2 always end up with a record deal. It just depends on what they make of themselves once he/she is signed.
It’s very obvious that Cook ONLY sings rock, but um…does’t Jagger only sing rock’n'roll? Doesn’t Roger Daltrey sing rock?
The thing is, ballads NON STOP is boring! Its repetitive because so many ballads sound the same.
The thing is, rock’n'roll is VERY diverse, so therefore Cook is the more appealing contest. The thigns he did with Billie Jean and Baba O’Riley were amazing. I don’t see Archuleta taking any risks and making them more interesting. He’s flat, he doesn’t change, he’s not a musician. He’s a singer, thats it.
That being said; I’m voting Cook.

David cook is the more talented allround.
archuleta is cute and has a good voice, but it’s just boring after the 10th time.
David Cook deserves to win this, because he has been consistent and has more sides to him, than just ballads. It’s not fair that a kid can win this because all the little girls just learned how to dial a phone number.

Both Davids are good in their own genres. I personally prefer Cook as he is more versatile but you can’t fault Archuleta as he is such a cutey pie, mothers and grannies want to mother him whilst the young ones idolise him. Cook has that kind of a more mature appeal and he is good to look at and his voice singing a song from phantom of the opera was to die for. Would love to vote but I’m not in the States and good luck to both. It could go either way, neither has been in the botom three. Anyway, both are guaranteed success.
