Angelina Jolie @ Changeling Premiere

PP - 688 LOL!! I had to laugh when I saw this, too.
Remember how a kiss to her brother became “making out” and “French kissing” to the sexually repressed who probably don’t get kissed more than a couple of times a month? No tongue, but if you aren’t getting laid, your mind goes into overdrive.

Now two friends, obviously in love with their male partners who are standing RIGHT NEXT TO THEM, barely touch lips in a public greeting out of the sheer joy and respect for each other and the project they are doing, and it’s some sort of lesbian thing to the people whose imagination runs wild about sex. One even called it a “lip lock” and they are barely touching! LOL!!

I had a friend’s wife kiss me on the lips recently because I was supportive of something he did creatively. Just a “Smmack!!” out of appreciation, not a lingering sexual kiss. But day-um!! These folks would go nuts in here, wouldn’t they?

ROFL!! No wonder the bigots voted for Bush last time around! Foolish people….

About her dress at Changeling Premier night…. I think it is appropriate to the kind of the movie she is starring in. I’ve got the feeling before this premier night that she would wear “differently”, not the usual very glamorous type of a dress. Changeling is a very serious film & the plot is in the old era, thus the hair & the dress. Just like last year, she wore a very glamorous, eye-catching color sexy dress during Ocean’s 13 premier while she chose a simple, dress-down get-up during A Mighty Heart premier. Besides, now that she is pregnant again, to wear something very comfortable & the style/ color is subdued is just proper & right. She just wanted to wear something that goes with the theme of the movie…a SERIOUS one. Not about fashion but refocus our attention to the message of the movie. I know that her blessed physical attributes plus her belly or her just being THE ANGELINA JOLIE will never fail to attract attention but at least she knows in her heart what should be the focus & she was doing her part. And the more I admire her for that. My admiration for her transcends beyond beauty in the outside but more on her pure & kind intentions.

About the kissing gesture….Angie is a well-travelled person. She is exposed to different or varied cultures aside from the fact that she is not the type of a person whose actions are dictated by righteous people. I live in a somewhat conservative country (Philippines) but I respect other people’s culture, traditions & practices. I didn’t find anything wrong about it. No malice at all. Besides, as what she said before, SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO DEFEND HERSELF TO ANYONE THAT SHE’S A DECENT PERSON. I believe she is. It amuses me that every move she makes, every word she utters, every dress she wears, practically everything is noticed, admired or nitpicked by everyone. She is that fascinating & interesting individual ! Yet, she doesn’t care what people say. Her best revenge is to live life the best she can without hurting anyone. Isn’t she great?!!

I disagree! I think Brad is very proud of Angelina’s success, and he is hoping, as do we, that his upcoming movies will be well-received too.

Yes, Angelina Jolie can wear whatever she wants. I have seen pictures of kaftans worn by the current queen of Jordan, and by her predecessor. Gorgeous colors with the most beautiful borders, flowers, geometric or sparkly. I think Angie’s stylist picked this, shall we say, less than gorgeous one (my opinion), and Angie approved it, maybe because it ‘fits’ the movie.

#689, Some chick, I’ll tell you what makes me laugh. Your posts–so unwittingly predictable. Won’t waste time listing the dead give-away words and tactics you resort to over and over, but the effect is like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Elmer Fudd (you) tries to disguise himself in a hundred ways attempting to outsmart Bugs (us). The more Elmer piles on the disguises (lipstick, mustaches, wigs, etc.) the sillier he looks, but he never fools anyone.

oooo lovely. Brad is beaming! Angelina is making his dreams come true. Who would have thought that Angelina would be the one? Let his be lesson learned that you will never know what shape or in what package happiness will come from. Didn’t Brad say one time that Angelina was not his type? These two did not come together because they “look cute together” (even though they do). It’s much much deeper than that. I feel that most people realize this. Clint’s wife is beautiful and like half his age. I don’t see anyone saying how old Clint looks.
